Output Module preferences

If you need be able to export these formats directly from After Effects, you can reactivate them by setting the preference display deprecated Formats output Module settings in the output preferences category. How can I do this?

The discouraged Show Formats output Module settings is only available in after effects CC. This option has been removed after effects CC 2014.

Before even that they removed the option (but especially now), here's what you should do: using Adobe Media Encoder to create H.264, MPEG-2 and WMV videos get out of After Effects

However, if you want really to encoding h.264 directly from AE (which is not recommended), you can choose to save it as CC CC 2014 and open your project in the old version and it has to do.

  • After effects CC output Modules to render only Machines

Hi there, I have a problem with the custom output Module Templates and my cluster:

After Effects CC 12.0.0.404 (also showing up-to-date cloud Creative)

Mac OS X 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion last version)

Mac Pro 2.93 GHz, Radeon 5870 8-Core, 32 GB RAM and with Blackmagic Decklink Extreme 3D +.

Remote Machines (there are four) are Mac Pros (Quad-core, running 10.7.2 with 16 GB of RAM), by using the ae_render_only_node.txt file in their folder of user Documents.

    The exact error:

aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

I try to get a cluster working with After Effects CC (see exact version above). Unfortunately, I need custom output modules, and I can't seem to get the slaves made to recognize. I found older sons on this particular issue, but no solution has been found.

I use commandline aerender in OS X terminal to start a render with a basic test scene.

To simplify things, I tried to test this on a single machine, rendering both slave... Same result everywhere.

    Here is what I tried:

I have exported a file of .aom of my main machine (where I have my desired custom output Modules) and attempted to bring on the slaves of rendering. However, because the slaves of rendering are return only, (they ae_render_only_node.txt in their Documents folder), the ability to import Modules output is disabled in After Effects (it opens as the rendering engine of the effects after and modify > Templates menu is grayed out).

Then, I thought I would try to copy the main machine (user) /Users/ / Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.0 folder to render slaves, thinking that would get any other file in preference to them to define the output modules. No luck. Launched After Effects (which loads as renderer after effects) and reset my preferences to disk cache (so they were not always of the main machine). Tried again aerender... no luck. Same error:

aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

After that, I thought it would be a good idea to log out of Adobe Creative cloud on the main machine and try connecting the machine slave made with my UserID and password and temporarily remove the ae_render_only_node.txt file. Then I would import the .aom file in the full version of the AE... I tried this and success! The work of renders... they find the output without problem Modules. Only it is, as soon as I log out and switch between using the ae_render_only_node.txt file, the output Modules are not found. Don't know what's going on--if the output Modules are currently disabled by the ae_render_only_node.txt file? Or maybe signature out of my Adobe ID is to remove preferences that determine the output Modules? Don't know where the output Module preferences are stored to be able to tell.

Next attempt: I thought that I would try my preferences with creative cloud sync. I made sure to check synchronization preferences after effects to ensure that the output Modules are configured to synchronize. I did a sync where I transferred my preferences of the main machine. Then, on the slaves of rendering, I ran synchronization preferences and chose to download preferences. Works when connected, but not when it is used as a single render node. When it comes to a single node returned, he even invites me to download synchronization preferences and exit the Application, which I do, but nothing seems to happen. I retry aerender and still the same error:

aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

I can't seem to find any info on where the output Modules are actually stored (apparently they are not anywhere in the user/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects / folder?). Visited only nodes not allowed to have custom output Modules? Not even for something as simple as the multi-machine with an action sequence post-render set enabled Proxy?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you.

  • CC bridge output module crashing

    Hello

I recently upgraded the bridge to the latest version and installed the Adobe Output Module according to the information here: https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html

The problem is when I went to restart Bridge and open the program, it bounces once as if he is about to open and has a small dot below and then immediately blocked (stops bouncing, dot gone).

When I delete the folder with all of the Workspaces folder preferences and just leave the file .workspace, Bridge opens, but obviously the output module will be empty and unusable.

I'm on a Mac (10.10.5) with the most recent version of the bridge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    Hi devonh,

Please reset the Bridge preferences and then try it.

    Measures

Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears.

Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.

  • Made settings and output module - Windows 7 default file location?

    Hi all

Confession: I'm generally confused about render settings and output modules, so forgive me if this question seems stupid.

Issue 1: Where AE stores the default render settings and output module files (I'm on Windows 7)? I want to save a copy of these in the case where I spoil them, but can not find the folder. I think these are files .aom and .ars, but I just upgraded my CC 2014, lost all my custom settings and to save the default values before as I have try to load my various custom files to see if I can recover my settings. When I get *.aom or * .ars, I can't find the settings to 'default' of late in 2013 (I think there is a more recent version somewhere.)

    Thanks in advance,

    Lori

They are in the same folder as the file of the General preferences and the keyboard shortcuts file. You can open this folder by clicking on the button at the bottom of the Preferences dialog box.

But there is no need to save the default values. If you delete the render settings or output module settings file, After Effects will recreate just the default values.

  • Lost output modules

I have recently updated from CS3 to CS5 and I can't find the output the Modules of CS3 to transfer to CS5 (rendering parameters are gone too). They are not in a presets folder. If I open CS3, the modules are here and I can use them, but I can't find them. Spotlight can't find them either. Does anyone have advice to help me find them?

    TIA

Output Module templates are not saved as separate files.  (The data are incorporated in your preferences file).  You can save your custom of After Effects CS3 as one output Module Templates. File AOM, which you can then import into After Effects CS5.  For more information, see the "create, manage, and change the output module templates" section of the article "output modules and output module settings" using After Effects.

Note that due to changes made to how After Effects CS5 stores data for some formats of output (including MPEG formats), some models of previous versions output Module import does not entirely in After Effects CS5.  In this case, you will receive a warning during the opening of the. File AOM and the format for these model-specific settings will be reset to the default values.  You can manually change the model in CS5 to match the settings of the previous version.

  • Bridge CC with El Capitan 10.11.6 output module

Hoping that someone out there might have a solution to the following problem:

Try to get the output module to work with my CC bridge (most up to date available download) and problems. Production appears in space work, but when selected, no longer gives any options (I'm trying to use the program to create a contact in PDF to images sheet).

Have reset the workspace and tried to locate the !-$$$ AdobeOutputModule.workspace file on my drive hard to remove, but had no luck.

Reading through the information on the module - it is said in the media which is for Mac OS (10, 6 - 10.10), does that mean my (El Capitan 10.11.6) operating system is as up-to-date as it is not compatible?

  • On 2015 (6.3) bridge output module - Windows 64-bit

I realize there is a thread for the same problem on OSX - I just want to make one for Windows users.

I can't load the module output in bridge - I downloaded the ZIP file that is necessary for 6.3 and installed the file/folder, as I have always done (as it reads) when necessary.

I even had the pop-up within Bridge at the opening of this new after the update- but the output module is NOT displayed.

I hope that this is addressed soon!

    Thank you.

  • Updated bridge completely eliminates them output Module?

Just updated the bridge and discovered that the output module, which I'd only recently risen by reinstalling, is now gone completely.  There is no other choice I can find at the exit of the files multiple/types of files as a Board-contact.  I guess that Adobe wants to let me in another program, but I think it's a dilemma that needs to be resolved.

    I'm on a Mac Pro, OS X 10.11.2

I think that you can always install it as you did before. There are a lot of people pushing to have this part of the bridge again, without having to do a separate install.

  • Photo-jpeg lacks 2015,3 QT output module settings?

I just installed the latest version of AE (2015.3) on a new computer Win 10. I'm trying to set up the same way, I am using AE on my old computer, but I'm stumped when it comes to rendering. I had a defined output Module that uses the QuickTime format, and the video codec is Photo-jpeg. It was not listed as a codec available in this new facility. So I thought, okay, I have to install QT (even though I was trying to avoid it making).

So I installed QT, but Photo-jpeg still is not listed. What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Ken

This article (and most of the others I read on the issue) is terribly exaggerated. For troubleshooting purposes, uninstall QuickTime and reinstall completely. (Just don't browse the web anywhere very suspect and click a QuickTime component, while it is installed.) And try that.
