Hello

No, no need to do something with his mother. One thing you may need to consider: the size of the SSD, they have standard 2.5 "and your office currently using 3.5" HDD. All you need is something similar to

Hello mastersteviekun, you can possibly get the driver for your sound card from the web site of the manufacturer.

Your audio is an audio device from Realtek on board.

Here is the link for Realtek, where the Windows 7 drivers for the Realtek audio device.

You will need to get a HD Audio Codecs, check the agreement and you have three options to download site.

You should know that sometimes Realtek downloads can be a little slow.

I'm not completely sure, these drivers will work, but they tend to do.

  • M2N78 - THE motherboard BIOS update (version 5.20)

I received an alert from HP about the above, but when I click on the link in the email, I got a message saying that there is no such thing as the driver that I asked. I'm confused, I tried to contact technical support, but they refused to help that my system is more under warranty.

I also tried the software and drivers download page for my model - Pavillion a6744uk, and which does not list the updates to the Bios.

I would like to dismiss the alert. According to the page of your listing, you have a motherboard Asus IPIBL-LB.

  • Update m9376.fr Pavilion vista 64 for Win7 64 - driver of the motherboard required

    Hi all

Since a few days, I have several errors in cluster on two hard disks for my HP Pavilion

I fear that it also affected the recovery partition.

Therefore, I have 2 new hard drives and a Win7 64 bit ready to install.

But before that, I need to know how to get the drivers from the motherboard (Intel G33 chipset, sound and network, realtek... etc.).

I think I've found a few of them:

    Chipset: OK

    Videocard: OK

    Realtek: probably managed by Win7

but I feel uncomfortable on others:

    Gemtek WUBR177G

    Intel Corporation 82801 SATA RAID

    HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH10L

Transceiver Northstar Systems eHome infrared, Inc.

    ...

Someone already try and meet all required drivers?

Thanks in advance for your support

    Hello

If your system still start then run this utility from Microsoft.    Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor

Windows 7 64-bit should have all the drivers you need for the motherboard.  You must also install Windows 7 service pack 1.

I have the same motherboard in my PC and it is not a problem with Windows 7 64 bit.

Other devices that you mentioned will require that you go to the web site of the manufacturer and look for the drivers and support Windows 7 64.

Check your CD/DVD drive for a firmware update before you convert them to WIndows 7.

Check your PC for a bios update before you convert them to Windows 7.

  • Qosmio F10: What to do with the update tool CD after the replacement of the motherboard?

    Hi, hoping someone can help.

My F10 had three new mother advice, since one broke down. Fortunately, I had paid for the extended warranty. However, when she came back this time they had formatted my drive was hard because they changed the chip set. Now he can't find a TV signal and the FN keys do not work. They sent me new CD-ROM entitled "Update Tool" and "Qosmio Player Update", but they do nothing to help the problem. Anyone has any ideas or will he be back again?

    Thanks in advance
    Chris

It of very strange that you didn't receive the Instructions for use.
Have you checked if there is any description how to upgrade the utilities?

I think that if you have not received any operating instructions how to use the update of the Tools CD, you should ask the guy to service for such documents.

In my opinion, the update of the tools is necessary because the new material and new chipset was installed and in this case the old drivers or utilities would not work.

  • Installed the latest important updates this morning; upon restart, the computer didn't work as expected. now behaves as if the motherboard is dead.

This morning at appx. 1:30 AM PST, I installed the latest important updates from the Windows Update Manager on my HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop. I did manually, by a double click on the little icon in the toolbar and clicking on the button install. Once the update had completed, I clicked on the "restart later" button and close my computer using the Shut Down command - the usual symbol "click here to close and complete the installation" didn't appear. I thought it was a little weird, but chalked it up to the fact that I had taken the lead and made the installation.

About an hour and a half later, after being able to get to sleep, I decided that I would try to do a job. I pressed the power button and my computer started well upward, giving me the ' now install, update (1/3) [percentage] completed. Do not turn off your computer. "message. Which is quite normal, let him do his thing without turning it off.

The update is completed and I am greeted by my office. Displays the logon to Gmail Notifier window, and that's when my problems began: I tried to move the arrow to disappear, and the arrow has not moved. The circle of "transformation" had, next to the arrow, so I thought it must be a minor hiccup. I've waited, waited and waited... But even after all of my normal startup programs loaded, my mouse has failed.

Pressing the Windows key to open the menu start does not work, either; It was as if everything had been disconnected. After waiting a few minutes, I decide that maybe I just need to restart and, given that my keyboard was not working, I pressed and held the power button until the system off (I know, I know, it's a horrible thing to do).

I waited a minute, and then you press the power button. The lights came on, the fan spun, but the screen remains black as if I did nothing. I waited, because my computer arrived in the past tried to give me an attack of apoplexy by hanging several screens, but... nothing. The fan spun, the light shone their beautiful blue, but that's all.

The only thing I have changed or done differently was the updates, I have not dropped my computer; I've not spilled something on or in I have a Targus chill mat that I use religiously. I download attachments from people I don't know no/trust (I can't, my antivirus program deletes attachments in emails from spam); I use Firefox with NoScript and anti-ad; My AV/Antispyware/malware program is always up to date and six types of awesome and more.

My system is Windows Vista Home Premium on an HP Pavilion dv6000. I have an AMD Turion 64 x 2 processor and a Nvidia mobile graphics card (I don't remember exactly who he is; I can't the specs). I don't have a DVD of restoration, for reasons that did not need explores right now. I had my phone on... Two years, I think. I'll have to double check.

I can't start in safe mode, because I get nothing - no POST, no beeps, without bumps. The CD/DVD drive makes some noises, as he is looking for a drive (there isn't one in the drive), and that's it.

I think I have to take someone and make them open and see what's the problem, but I appreciate any thoughts/ideas/opinions/assistance that anyone can give. Thank you for your time and attention.

Alas, no, the screen seems to be fine. He had not been acting funny before that, in any case. I checked out, and the external monitor just went to sleep because there is no signal.

Thanks for taking a peek anyway. I guess it's a workshop for me and my laptop.

  • Replacing the motherboard, update service number?

    I just replace the motherboard in my Dell One 2020 AIO. Never having done it before, I followed the instructions in the manual of the Dell user religiously, until the end, where I ran into a problem. The manual shows the final step;

    "Enter the BIOS serial number".
    1. turn on the computer.
2 press during POST to enter the system setup program.
3 navigate to the main tab and enter the Service Tag entered serial number. »

Well, when I tried to do, I find the serial number field is already filled in and I can't understand how to change it. I checked my other computer and it seemed to be the same. How can I change the Service number in the configuration of the system?

Looks like the system is no longer under warranty, which is what the serial number is required for.

And on most motherboards, you can enter a serial number once. So, if it is a Board of opportunity, you probably cannot change anyway.

  • Update the motherboard on a Dell Dimension E520

    Hello

I have a Dell Dimension E520 with an Intel Celeron 2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, Windows Vista 32 - Bit for about a year now and the speed of the processor. But with 1 core is not enough. I opened the case and found that the CPU is soldered in to the motherboard and what it is not replaceable, so I replace the motherboard with one that comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHZ. My question is what can I replace the motherboard on it and what kind of specifications of the motherboard will work with Dell Dimension E520.

    Thank you

  • Want to 800-060: reactivation after replacing the motherboard

I bought a HP Envy 800-060 with Windows 8 pre - install Amazon in July of 2013. It was an incredible computer since that time, and when the free update of Windows 8 for Windows 10, I did immediately released. Recently, however, the motherboard has failed on the computer. It would not stay same POSITION, and after much troubleshooting, I finally decided to replace the motherboard. Now that the computer is running again, I guess that the motherboard change was sufficient for the operating system to think that it is no longer enabled. I was never provided with a key of Activation of OS (Win8 has been pre-installed), and Microsoft has suggested that I contact HP to find the original key. I've looked everywhere on the chassis and inside the tower for a valid Windows activation key, nothing helps. I tried to find a phone number to call for support, but my product is outside the guarantee. I don't need advice or troubleshooting tips (so I don't pay the $59.99), all I need is my activation key valid Windows based on my serial number of the product. Anyone know the best way to achieve HP with this problem and have it is resolved?

    Thanks in advance!

The unfortunate, is that your original product key has been incorporated in the firmware original by HP motherboard UEFI when the PC was built.  There is no way to recover this key now.

HP retains no record of keys to individualized product corresponding to individual computers, so they won't be able to provide you with the original key - and they are under no obligation to provide you with a SECOND key, that you didn't do the replacement of HP hardware.

With the product now being out of warranty, it's really call HP or not you upload support - and the experience I have had with older equipment-, they do that, there's just no way around IDs.

HP customer support is really the only way you have to get support.  If they don't help you for free, because your PC is out of warranty, there is nothing we can do about it on this forum.

  • Presario SR5152NX: Looking for AMD Motherboar d update of the BIOS for Presario SR5152NX

I got the BIOS file for the update. However, the installation does not work on Windows 10. He is looking for Vista. Is there a way to delete the image file, so I can update BACK?

Install the last 5,14 BIOS on the motherboard will not give you the necessary UEFI settings used with the WIndows operating system beyond 7 (ie 8 and 10).  That's what I think, it was your intended purpose.

  • Satellite Z830 - I wonder if the motherboard supports more than 6 GB of memory

    Hey, I bought a Toshiba Satellite Z830-10w. It's a fine ultrabook.
I wonder if the motherboard supports more than 6 GB of ddr ram.

Have some of you tried it with a block of 8 GB of RAM Regand flemming

    > I wonder if the motherboard supports more than 6 GB of ddr ram.

The chipset is responsible for the RAM
Therefore, know if the chipset would support the 6 GB of RAM.

Z830-10w supports the Intel HM65 Express Mobile Chipset and it should support the 8 GB of RAM

To my knowledge the unit is equipped with a 2 GB internal RAM that is NOT removable.
You can update ONLY one slot
So one slot can handle 4 GB of RAM, and in this case the 6 GB of RAM are supported.
