PA 500 (AP 520G)

Hello

I don't know if I got this right, but someone could provide a link that explains what the differences are between autonomous and lightweight AP on these models and so autonomous may become lightwaight and vice versa, by using different codes, as appropriate.

Concerning

The conversion of the CCA process is one-way. Once the conversion takes place, you cannot restore the autonomous functioning access point.

The presentation of the marketing text shows this:

* In standalone mode, up to three access points managed by the Assistant of the Cisco Configuration, can be deployed to provide fast and reliable wireless connectivity to users in the area they cover.

* In design based on the controller, up to 12 access points managed by the Assistant of the Cisco Configuration, can connect with Cisco 500 wireless Express Mobility controllers to provide wireless services and a complete follow-up of the airspace.

This paper presents some differences in safety.
