PA3370 Bluetooth SD Card 3 / Vista

Greetings.

I have a laptop Toshiba P25-S526 and a Bluetooth SD PA3370 adapter. Have used this combo for awhile with Windows XP Home edition.

Under Vista, however, I am having no luck. I downloaded the latest Toshiba BT stack, but when I go through the installation process it does not reach the place where I insert the card - drivers are never located.

Read the Readme file, it says that the new battery (v5.10.01) supports Vista, and it supports the SD Bluetooth 2 card and the card SD Bluetooth 3 (PA3370, which is what I have). But waaayyy down below, under constraints, he mentions that 2/3 maps SD card are not supported under Vista but will be in the "next release".

Does anyone know if there is a timetable for this, or failing that, if there is any sort of workaround?

-Chris

I just check time of output between the batteries. For this reason, I suppose a new version which will be released soon, which should support your card also.

    Hello

Usually, the PCMCIA card should be recognized directly after that it was inserted in the slot.
There is no special driver for the PCMCIA. It s a BIOS according to the function.

What you could do is to change the device configuration option in the BIOS.
I think that it s on the second page in the BIOS.
It s set configuration by OS. I recommend that you change this.

  • Disabled Bluetooth wireless card device error Code 43 Manager

Original title: Bluetooth wireless card disabled by windows.

There is this problem that I've been repeatedly for a long time where randomly, my Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth minicards stops working and I can't put it back on without doing a clean reinstall of the driver. Sometimes it is very difficult to do, because in this case, my computer sometimes think that my bluetooth mouse is still connected, so it won't let me activate the touchpad mouse. When this happens, I can not access my devices manually by removing the mouse. Quite simply, nothing happens when I try to open the bluetooth devices.

I see the bluetooth in my device manager card, but the Properties window that it has this error message:

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »

If I turn off and then turn on the device, it works very well for about 2 seconds, but then the problem comes back. Restarting the computer does not set it. Try to update the driver not fixed not. Try to reinstall the driver works only if it is completely clean uninstall, and then I reinstall mode without failure. However, the problem is never permanently attached and eventually come back somewhere between 2 days and 2 weeks later.

    I have an Alienware M17x.

Someone at - it a way to make Windows to stop disabling the bluetooth card? In addition, it would be much easier to solve this problem if the computer would not automatically disable my touchpad (refusing to turn it back on, same with the fn - f12) when he thinks a mouse is connected. Does anyone know how to fix the part of it? It truly is a train wreck.

    Hello

Driver is a software designed for a particular device, which communicates between the device and the operating system. Because of this feature of the device driver software is recognized by the operating system and it starts to work.

Code 43 is displayed in Device Manager when the bluetooth device driver informs the operating system that the device failed. If the device fails, there is a problem with the device and must be replaced.

You can contact Dell technical support for replacement and get help.

I know I can install only cards that are supported in the bios. Can someone tell me please to the list of the WiFi cards supported by the bios of my laptop?

    Thank you.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c03043778.PDF

Support without wireless/bluetooth combo cards with HP part numbers are in Chapter 3, page 29.

Pleaee be careful since you have an Intel processor, look at the list of cards for all models or just models of Intel.

I can tell you that there is no double card band supported. The 6230 listed Intel is incorrect. It's the wrong part number and if you order this part, you get either an intel or 1000 ralink card. Person on this forum or at HP knows that the correct reference number unfortunately.

You can install one of the supported cards and it must have the part number HP on it or it won't work.

Hello I have the following problem with my free wireless/Bluetooth combo card.
I have personally installed a new combo entered only the material of a third party wireless card
online market. The device was immediately discovered Windows 8 and installed the drivers that he thinks are best for the device. Both wireless and Bluetooth work as expected and the problem happens when I put the machine power off or reboot the system, Hibernate does not affect the operation of the device. When the system is rebooted / turned from cold start. Windows 8 displays a red X on the wireless icon and Bluetooth does not work. troubleshooting tool and Device Manager act as the device is installed correctly. To resolve this issue, uninstall Bluetooth and wireless both drivers leave system scan for changes, it then reinstalls the device and the system works as expected for both Bluetooth and wireless. I'm looking to solve this problem, I didn't notice any problem yet in the operating system other than windows 8.

I guess the problem with my card is out dated drivers for my wireless card.

    (SOLVED)

I at first sight, that this would not help, as it does not address the question, or the other.

1st stage however was a yellow triangle! Sign up for troubleshooting. reboot and I checked for internet/bluetooth. I got my net upward and did two step, windows told me, he had the best drivers for the device. I went to the menu where you select wireless cards then. and it occurred to me, for some reason my wireless card had been cut, and troubleshooting of windows didn't catch it. My G74SX, so now like with most laptops, has a Wireless on and off function, I pressed the button for this and then on my bluetooth and windows wireless. I then tested the function of these two, and did a reboot and shutdown, test market and the system works perfectly. Now, I wonder if that was the problem at the beginning.
    Thank you.

  • Bluetooth kit card combo WB335 taken in charge in the nucleus 3.13.1

    Hi all

Popular Wifi / BT combo card of Qualcomm WB335 Atheros AR9565 has until recently not been fully supported by popular distributions (up to 20, openSuse, Ubuntu Fedora cousins...)
Bluetooth has been found, but it is not possible to use.

From 3.13.1 kernel (and perhaps even 3.13) Bluetooth is finally working.

So for you who are waiting for a solution, it is coming.
Depending on your distribution, it will be a backport or a real upgrade.
If this isn't the case, you can download and install the kernel yourself.

But before doing this, consider if this is something for you or not.
I don't mean that it's very complicated, but for those unfamilliar with the compilation of the grain and who do not want to dirty their hands, I wouldn't recommend it.

For the more adventurous - there are probably as many guides out there that describes in detail how to create a core of your system.

  • DUN connection Bluetooth for Pocket PC, Vista and the user rights restricted

    Hallo,

I managed to establish a DUN connection to my smartphone WM5 Pocket QTEK 9100 Bluetooth-based and the Toshiba Stack, latest version. My laptop is an X 200 - 21 d with Vista Home Premium.

Everything works although I do not change the Vista user to a user with restricted rights, for the user with the Bluetooth utility administrator rights has created a new DUN connection and a new modem with a virtual COM port. The user with restricted rights is not allowed to set up a new connection, but it is necessary to connect to the smartphone with the Bluetooth utility. On the administrative account the option button to allow the connection to call other users is disabled and grayed out, so there is sort now open it up to other users.

How can I set up a Bluetooth DUN connection for a user with restricted rights?

    Thank you in advance!

If the user restricted use the same DUN like the Admin Setup?

If Yes, then you can use "Bluetooth-> custom Mode settings". This allows you to
Select the "Standard 33600 Modem" from the list that has been set up before
the admin. So every ONE that has been configured by the administrator can be used by the
User restricted with this method. Restricted users cannot install hardware, so
If the administrator has not installed a modem, then also the restricted user cannot use it.

The Admin can pre-install a modem with Bluetooth stack installation.
This is useful if the restricted user should be able to configure a DUN connection
with the advanced modem settings which are not used by the administrator.

This should be possible if the file "as.ini" has a line "MODEMINST = 1".
