• Problem with the Package Windows Installer... when trying to install ITUNES 9.2 and Quicktime.

  I bought an IPHONE 4 yesterday.  For more than 7 hours, I tried everything to download ITUNES 9.2.  I get the same error.  I spoke with apple as Microsoft.  I didn't PAY to get assistance from Microsoft yet and I hope I don't have to.

  first open Installer u then let it install

  When you get the messege, click ok and it will say restoration of action but don't get put off by this cause after 5 min, it will say: it is installed and restart your computer

  There are several possibilities for this kind of error.

  Try to run the Windows installed Cleanup utility first, which you can download here:

  If that does not resolve the problem, try to run the System File Checker:
  To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
  Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
  Right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click Run as administrator.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
  At the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:
  sfc/scannow
  When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

  If this does not work, you will need to contact the Apple support since QuickTime is a program from Apple and they would need to tell you what are the system requirements are for their software.

  2. What security software you are trying to download on the computer?
  3. What web browser you use to download the file?

  Try the step below only if you are using Internet explorer as your web browser.

  (a) open Internet Explorer.

  (b) click on Tools and then options Internet.

  (c) click the Security tab.

  (d) select the Internet Zone.

  (e) click on the custom level button and then scroll down to download.

  (f) make sure that allow the downloading of files.

  (g) click apply and OK

  Restart Internet Explorer and see if that helps.

  Let me help you with your concern. I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions:

  • What application you use to print photos?

  • What is the brand and model of the printer?

  • Have you checked the settings of the printer (Page Settings) with the printer?

  • Are you having similar problem when you try to print documents?

  This problem could be due to changes in the settings of the printer, or if you have not configured the application you're using to print.

  If you are printing form pictures library by choosing done right click on the image and selecting printing. Make sure you that you have changed the format of A4 paper also click on Options and printer properties and click on Advance and verify that the Page size is set to A4.

  This issue is between 64 bit and 32 bit, and there is an easy solution. Once you get back to the way it was before you downloaded the 64-bit package that you go to the machine that you want to load the printer and the printer as a local printer using load say lpt1 port. Auto not detect or print a test page and just finished the installation. Now on the windows 7 computer to join devices and printers and right click on the printer icon and scroll the properties first and left click. Go to the ports, and then add the port and in the box that comes up to put in the name of printserver and the share name of the printer by using the syntax \\printserver\sharename how save and apply and this computer will now be able to print to the printer.

  I have a new laptop HP Envy delivered pre-installed with Windows 8.1 on a hard drive traditional.

  Immediately on starting it the first time, I connected a SSD to the laptop via a USB cable and used imaging software to drive provided by Samsung to the HARD whole to the new/empty SSD disk image.

  Returned & replaced the HDD SSD w / in 1 Bay drive, followed by placing the original HARD drive (but now secondary) in the 2 Bay drive.

  I wanted to re - map the 'My Documents' folder on the SSD to store files in this folder on the secondary HARD drive, so I remapped this ("c:\users\Brad\Documents") folder to point to 'f:\users\Brad\Documents' instead.

  "So move on, for some reason, when I go to the desktop search item and try, for example, to search for"Remove Apps", which translates by he find something like"Uninstalling apps to save hard drive space"or something like that, and I click on uninstall apps to save hard disk space", I get a message similar to the following :

  I'm not sitting on my laptop right now, but I found the info. top online and there are very close to the error msg. I get, except that instead of "c:\Users\bmccollum\AppData\...". ", the title of the GMS. I get begins with "f:\Users\bmccollum\AppData\...". ». I don't remember remapping anywhere at all outside the location of 'My Documents', then why is this research activity trying to seek the "AppData" folder on my hard drive secondary now?

  This same error msg occurs when I am looking for another couple of points, but above all what I find and click work.

  Welcome to the HP Forums!

  I understand that you are having problems with the paths to files on your Envy laptop.

  The most important thing here is that looks like you have cloned the drive, but not the format of the original HARD disk. This will cause a plethora of problems because you now have 2 boot managers and repositories of operating system file. Windows will have a fit over this.

  I suggest copy important information from the HARD drive to an external drive or for SSD and formatting the drive. This will wipe the Windows installation and free up additional space. From there, you can create a Documents folder and map the folder accordingly.

  You remap F:\Users\Brad\Documents by adding it to the document library or did you use the move feature tab in the properties of the Documents folder location?

  Please try the original function of HARD drive and test development shaped.

  We could use a little more information.  Which version of the package Windows\service are you running?  Has this happened after an update?  If so what update has been installed?  Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can start with.
