SIlverlight should always be reactivated once I closed firefox

I regularly use netflix. It uses silverlight. Before an update for firefox, a few months back, if I clicked on the option to silverlight, it's remained allowed until the next update. But now he is never permitted. Never. I have for her reallow whenever I restarts firefox. Even if I chose the always allow. I would really like to know why this is and how to make so that it can be authorized.

Please note I do not allow any cookies remain on my system at all, I dumped them all in every session, and I have no plans to allow them to stay. Please let me know if there is a way to solve this problem, so I can't choose it every time.

Thank you

  1. Open the Firefox Menu
  2. Click on Add ons
  3. A tab will open, please go to the extensions and under Silverlight, click the dropdown to "always allow".

    Some traps:

If Firefox will not let you change this setting: you can have what is called SearchProtect on your system.

Firefox if allows you to save your changes, but he doesn't know: one of your extensions may be the substitution of her. You can consult, disable and/or remove extensions on page modules. Either:

In the left column, click on Extensions

If the modification works during your session, but returns to the previous setting at the next startup: you could have a user.js file in your personal settings Firefox (your Firefox profile folder). Please check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is correct, you can then reset Firefox on the old (previous) profile via the help (Alt + H) > troubleshooting information.

  • assets should only be packed once

    Hello

I added the splashscreens and icons in different resolutions in the assets/icons and assets/images folders and add them to the location in the bar tab - descriptor.xml.

But now I have for all the images/icons warning ' "assets should only be packed once: ".

    For example:

"Assets should only be packed once: S:/BB10/myapp/assets/icons/icon_114x114png.

Can anyone tell my why this error occurs here? Do I have to place the folder somewhere else?

If you need more code please tell me.

Thanks for the reply. I just thought of it.

The icons/splashscreens must be directly in the app folder. Non-property/720 x 720, etc..

Apparently there is only the images that you use in the qml for different resolutions files (I did it in my app and it works fine).

Splashscreens and icons being global, thing that has nothing to do with the content of my application, they may not be placed in a folder.

  • I lost my module of reminderfox. It's always in my profile. Why can't I see it. I have seen the morning and without closing Firefox Reminderfox just disappeared.

The add-on of Reminderfox is in my profile, (Users\AppData |) (Roaming) but is not in my list of add-on or extensions. I lost it during the day, while I did not update anything or closed Firefox. A minute that the add-on was there, the next day it was gone.

This may or may not be happening to you.

  • Closed Firefox tabs without giving me a warning, even if I have checked "notify me when I close the tabs.

So far, Firefox always pop - up would be the "danger; you are about to close x number of tabs"window when I tried closing Firefox with several tabs open. Today, however, it just closes directly on my desktop, regardless of the number of tabs are open. "Warn me when I close the tabs" checked in my menu "Tab of Options", but this still does not work. I always get warned if trying to open too many tabs at once, but he refuses to tell me when I close my tabs.

I tried checking and unchecking options, restart the computer, checked my plugins for exceeded those (the only potential problem is Shockwave Flash 17, but the other options to aide said Shockwave Flash 16 was the problem), sought user.js and went almost all the suggestions on the forums. Nothing's worked, and at this point I'm stumped.

(Also, I'd rather have Firefox clear my history when I go out, so just having my restored tabs when I restart Firefox is not my preferred option).

This problem started this afternoon; It was fine earlier in the day. This is due to an update of windows, an update of Firefox, or some strange virus?

THE SECOND UPDATE: I managed to locate the problem. Tab Mix Plus add-on is apparently not compatible with the latest Firefox update. Turn it off seems to have solved the problem for now.

What are the mistakes you are seen to appear?

Try to start Firefox in safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, customizations, hardware acceleration, etc., temporarily for the diagnosis and troubleshooting. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then it is probably a problem with the add-on. Restart Firefox in normal mode, and then type "subject: addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions, restart Firefox between each one, until you find the troublemaker. Once you do, you can turn off this add-on and report the problem to the developer of this - on Add.

A few other basic problems you can try things is the following:
Run all Windows updates, install all required service packs, etc.

Updating your graphics driver (Firefox uses the graphics card for rendering and an outdated graphics card driver can cause problems. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers.

Update all of your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

Download and install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This check allows that there is no virus on your computer, causing problems. You can uninstall this program after having cleaned the infections.

  • Sessionrestore occasionally does not show my tabs as they were when I closed Firefox, but as they were some time before I closed it.

Sometimes Sessionrestore does not show my tabs as they were when I closed Firefox, but as they were some seemingly random (but persistent if retry) point between the beginning and the end of my last session. Sometimes, they are exactly as they were when I started my last session. I am currently using Firefox 5, but the problem was already present when I always used 4. It is perhaps also relevant that I tend to have a lot of windows and tabs open, sometimes to the point of crashing Firefox.

It is possible that one of the extensions is the cause, but that can be difficult to diagnose if you can reproduce or force it to happen.

  • Unable to save the existing tabs when closing Firefox 4.0

In Firefox 3.6, I was able to save all tabs before closing Firefox. This choice is missing in Firefox 4.0 so I lose all the tabs, whenever I close this new browser. Help, please! Thank you.

A Firefox 4 is from Firefox showing the default warning message will stop, but it can be turned on again by changing some preferences.

    1. Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
    2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
    3. Find browser.tabs.warnOnClosepreference, if its value is set to false, double-click on it to change its value to true
    4. Repeat this for 3 preferences browser.warnOnQuit, the browser.warnOnRestart and the browser.showQuitWarning

If you always open the last set of tabs, another approach is the following:

    1. Click on the orange button Firefox, then select options to open the options window
    2. Go to the general Panel
    3. Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "show my windows and tabs from last time '.
  • Mini Mac OS 10.8.5 - all settings, modules, etc. completely disappear to reopen after closing firefox (seems completely reset)

I tried as much as I could find to fix - firefox is not set to reset the story with each new reboot, and I was by the audit of the my file is not locked in the profiles. I do not have a lot of folders and files - prefs is this normal to have several of them. At one point I tried to remove all except one of them because I read here that it would be creating a new file automatically. He did, I checked that it was unlocked, but still, at each closing Firefox, everything gets reset as if I just download the program. Any ideas?

Using the latest Firefox for my os on a mac (just deleted the old and downloaded it again today).

    Thank you

Try to remove the file profiles.ini (i.e. move the folder to the trash).

You can also delete all the folder in the profiles folder that Firefox was created because he wasn't able to safety profile for the file profiles.ini file.

  • When a link to open another application and firefox is closed, Firefox opens but the link does not work

I use Firefox on Mac OS 10.9.2, 29, this problem has occurred on the OS 10.8 ~ and various other versions of FF. I use 29 simply because I like it!

The problem: Firefox is configured as the default browser in all directions it is possible to set as the default value. However, when I click on a URL from any application and Firefox is closed, Firefox opens opens, my last session of navigation tabs start, but the link does not open. I must return to the application and click the link again. This only happens on Firefox. I can put any other default browser and it will open the link in a closed state.

This is happening to me, same, on Mac OS X 10.6.8 but only since I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, 32.0.1. I can click on a HTTP link in another application and Firefox becomes the active application, but it will not load a new tab for the link, as expected. Instead, it just sits there. I have to go back to the other application and click on the link a second time, during which point Firefox correctly open a new tab and load the destination URL.

  • 18.0 Firefox crashes when I closed Firefox on a 32-bit computer. OK in 64-bit computer.

18.0 Firefox works fine when I open it on a 32-bit desktop. I can open any Web site (I use one tab). But when I closed Firefox, I get the message "Firefox has crashed." It charges ok, but I've never had this problem with any version of Firefox before. I downloaded another copy of 18.0 and it's the same thing. 18.0 works perfectly on a 64-bit computer. Both computers are connected to the router. I keep my security, Windows 7, etc. updated.

If I can download 17.x, I would see that if he goes there, as he never did before. I would like your suggestions. Thank you.
