PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Error
I have an Acer laptop to touchscreen V5 with 8 Windows pre-installed. I had the laptop for almost four months now, and this error "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" recently started last week. This is the first time, this never happened, and I have all the updates installed I have. I have not changed any hardware, and I use this laptop to run my business, work on school and make a few games. My specs are:
Processor: Intel Core i5-3337U CPU @ 1.80 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 6.00 (5.80 usable GB)
System type: 64-Bit operating system, x 64 processor
Pen and touch: full Windows touch support with 10 Points of contact
I ran the disk cleanup, Disk Defragmenter, file error check, check the memory and all other diagnostic software supplied with the pre installed Windows 8. I'm a computer technician who will be testing for my Certification has + in maintenance and repair, and I'm still puzzled, as are my peers. I can't afford to clean install Windows 8 in this laptop I have a master project that I have to finish, and I'm no funds to buy the activation for installation and download of Windows 8 code. I can assume that a factory reset is also out of the option because this seems to be a common system error. I have not contacted Acer for the moment, because my three month warranty has expired and I do not have a manufacturer's warranty. I can't afford also to send my laptop to be replaced, that I don't have another computer functional at home that I can finally use my main project which is necessary to obtain their diploma.
I need a solution possible for this solution and fast. If I need to delete or do something with the file, I'll do it, but I'm going to need to get detailed instructions so that I'm doing it correctly. I have not time to dink around that either. I need a real solution, fast. If it requires a live chat, send email and I will discuss with you as needed. I'm grabbing at straws and I'm not comfortable downloading random 'solutions' that I can not afford to acquire some serious virus or something.
Hello
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA bug control has a value of 0 x 00000050. This indicates that invalid system memory was referenced.
Cause
Bug control 0 x 50 usually occurs after the installation of a faulty hardware or installation failure of material (usually associated with defective RAM, either main memory, L2 RAM or RAM video cache).
Another common cause is a defective system service installation.
Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.
Resolution
Solve a defective hardware problem: If the material has been added to the system recently, remove it to see if the error recurs. If the hardware failure existing, remove or replace the faulty component. You must run the diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
Fix a defective system service: Disable the service and confirm that this resolves the error. If so, contact the manufacturer of the system service on a possible update. If the error occurs during the system startup, restart your computer, and then press F8 to menu mode characters that displays the choice of operating system. In the Windows Advanced Options menu that results, select the last known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.
Fix a corrupted NTFS volume: Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk errors. You must reboot the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition. If the SCSI hard disk, check the problems between the SCSI controller and the drive.
Finally, check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help determine the device or driver that generated the error. Disable the cache in memory of the BIOS might also resolve it

HP Mini 210-4000 blue screen of death PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Error
I've been up and down the Forums here with no specific luck, unfortunately, so I'll ask even if this has been asked and solved in another part of the site that I may have missed.
I'm trying to untangle HP Mini Notebook a friend, model HP Mini 210-4125sa. The machine starts well enough until last week, when it was suddenly decided to blue screen.
The text of the error message displayed in the BSOD reads as follows:
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
STOP: 0 X 00000050 (0X87E40000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000, 0X92442B13)
I can't start after loading Windows 7 - the load bar screen makes two fifths upwards and that's all.
I had thought to try to recover the operating system, if possible, of what is apparently a recovery partition that is created on the hard drive (I have not worked with these machines before, unfortunately), but I can't figure out how to get to that partition before the typing error.
In addition, after trying to download a piece of software of HP USB recovery Flash Disk Utility, I realize it seems necessary to use it in fact of the computer laptop itself, that is not possible.
Having begun to run various tests on board in the menu of the BIOS, the hard drive Test failed just apparently (more specifically the hard drive part optimized DST test), with ID GGBXXV-66A75U-MFPX0J-61VV03 failure (I don't know if this information is useful but am nevertheless understood). HP unfortunately were not a lot of help as they wil only offers unique support technician call for forty pounds, or to take the laptop away for repair, which cost almost as much as the original of the material costs. Of course, I prefer to try and resolve this issue myself but have hit a bit of a wall at the present time. Any suggestion would be great at this point. This test equipment for the hard drive is a gift died of a faulty element. A failed hard drive is a show-stopper.
Hard drive optimized DST part of the test), with ID GGBXXV-66A75U-MFPX0J-61VV03 failure (I don't know if this information is useful but am nevertheless understood) This is important information.
A corrupted NTFS (hard drive) volume can also generate the "error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" stop message.

It seems that the boot sequence is just circling himself. No matter if I try to start XP normally or in Safe Mode I go back to the screen that ask you how I want Windows XP to open. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't boot into windows or recovery.
OK, so that is the problem. I'm in recovery mode by pressing f11 and me to the point where he says he was doing market back stuff. I've been through reformatting, but while he was 97% ready I got this blue screen "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" error and windows have closed. as I tried with recovery again it fails again with a uscreen "bad_pool_caller". Now I never did recovery disks for my laptop because I've always used the recovery partition so I have the vista cd or anything like that. However, I would like to make a cd of xp home edition. So I started from that and thought I could just install the xp home edition. Unforunetly after it loads up to install it says it can't find my hard drive and shows no partitions. I am at a loss on what to do. I searched everywhere for a solution to this, but I don't know what to do. Everyone responds just telling me to reformat or enter in safe mode when I can not because they do not completely load upward and I get this error and my computer crashes. If someone could help me I would be very grateful.
For questions about the recovery process, contact the manufacturer of your computer.
This isn't their recovery process, Microsoft.

Win32k.sys BSOD on launch of the first
Until yesterday, Premiere Pro (CS6 and CC) worked very well. Whenever I try to launch the first now, it freezes at the end of the start screen and hangs my computer with system BSOD win32k.sys "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" error None of my other Adobe products have had this same problem. After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom - all loads very well. No updates have been tested, either. I tried the boot safe mode with networking and the same accident occurs. Anyone have any ideas?
Hi Bhonik,
Please try to rename the link dynamics and links Manager preferences Dynamics media server from 7.0 to old7.0. You can go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
and check these folders (make sure that you have display hidden folders). Once done, restart the machine and try to relaunch the products.

I get that everytime I start my computer. I can't go in safe mode or any mode. Any attempt to get windows gives me this start upward. It's a custom gaming computer I bought from a site of computer game a few years ago. Everything worked fine until the water fountain is out. It has overheated and after that, I get BSOD. It will display a different error and mentioned nvidia. But this is the error I get now. Any help would be amazing.

The other day I noticed that I had a virus that was redirecting my searches on Google to scour.com. I used my anti-virus installed (PC-Cillin) and downloaded Malware Bytes removed the virus. Since then, my computer always gives me the blue screen of death once it starts. Startup of Windows and the programs that are supposed to start start to leave, but after a few minutes I STILL get the blue screen of death, and I'm getting various messages including IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (no driver is listed), I also gottene PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA; It seems to be a different problem each time. What is going on? I still have a virus or something?I tried the system restore, does not solve the problem. When I try to change the registry through the command prompt in safe mode to copy the \RegBack\ file beforehand, I get a "sharing violation". How can I fix the registry through safe mode?
Hello
To check again if the problem is caused by a Virus/Malware on the system, I suggest to refer to the link below and run the Windows Live OneCare safety scanner and check if the problem is caused by an Infection of Virus/Malware on the system
To run the scanner Windows Live OneCare refer to the link below
http://OneCare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

Hi people:
Thanks for any help you may be able to give! I am a real novice at the request for such assistance, so please, I need your understanding and your patience. I searched the web, forums and site windows.com. All I got is, sorry, your search did not reveal an answer. This problem exists on my wife's cell phone, but only after she used it for awhile and then it allows to sit unused, still for a while. How long before that happens I can't say, because I usually notice it after that she went to work. This has happened for the fifth or sixth time now. If stop us the laptop and then restart it, it works without problem, until it rests still. I have him, I asked that she installed lately, and she said nothing. I can usually solve our problems of PC and set "the blue screen of death" before, to find answers on the line, but not this time.
The OS is completely updated to Windows XP Home Edition that came on laptop Acer 2310, but I'd love to get rid of it and use XP Pro, but...
I hope someone can it send me a solution for this problem of blue screen.
Thanks again and have a great day
Claude
Hi Claude,.
You can try these steps and see if it helps.
Step 1:
You can read the following article and see if it helps.
Step 2:
You can also try to perform a clean boot and check for the issue.
A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
After the troubleshooting steps, please refer to clean the boot link to put the computer to normal startup mode.
Hope this information is useful.

23 - k027c: ERROR: no boot disk was detected or drive failed
Hello!
My computer
HP Envy tilt 23-k027c TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC (energy star)
These latest OS Windows 10 (update of Windows 8, which was preinstalled on the computer at the time of the purchase in December 2013)
Intel (r) Core (TM) 15-457OT CPU @ 2.90 GHz
Processor speed 2900 MHz
A few days ago it started showing blue screens of death with a PAGE_FAULT_in_NONPAGED_AREA note all other hours, or sometimes 3 times per hour.
I went through all the troubleshooting process, finished with a bluescreen debugging possible analysis demonstrating that the ntoscrnl.exe driver might cause the blue screen issue. And on the morning of the next day my computer greated me with a black screen with an ERROR: no boot disk was detected or drive failed.
I can still get into the BIOS by pressing ESC at the present time of HP sign appear early attempts to restart.
BIOS indicates that the hard disk is detected (yay!), so it is not the source of the problem.
Memory and disk test went well passed, PASSED tests successfully.
Pushing ' restore the original and exit "in the bios does not help.
Nothing else works. Only these two ESC and F10 keys.
How can I fix the system?
I don't have a HP with PC Restore disc when I bought it. Site Web of HP didn't kits of restoration for the moment.
What to do?
SOS help, please!
It is the computer that I use for work and personal use. There are gigabytes of photos of my family, as well, who desperately, I don't want to lose...
I'll be super thankful for all reasonable advice and direct instructions!
The ' ERROR: no boot disk was detected or drive failed. " May be a simple solution to redo the botmanager file. This normally requires a bootable DVD with the repair function or a USD bootable with windows and repair function. Windows 10 is installed, this would be my choice getting either the drive or the USB key. HERE IS THE MEDIA tool of M$. Make the work of another PC, DVD or USB and then - on PC - start problem that media and choose repair when loading of the POPup screen. DO NOT install. If you install it, it will eliminate your data.
BTW: 10 Windows is installed, the HP recovery disk will return the PC to Windows 8.
