• Handle is not valid when printing

  I have a HP 5510.  Works fine on Windows xp machine.  I bought a new pc with windows 7.  HP site has no driver it is said to use the driver for windows 7.  I connected the printer to the pc that was connected to the internet.  Driver installed fine.  Tried to print from various sources and it will not.  The printer is listed and it's online and operational.  I get a different error, but when I print from notepad I get the error the handle is invalid.  I tried to uninstall/reinstall the printer.  There was an update of windows for the printer, which I installed and still no luck.  I run HP diagnostics test and said everything going and asked to print a test page.  I do it, but it used to print and do not receive an error.  I suspect that this is a windows problem and not a driver problem.  Any ideas?

  OK, I fixed it after a lot of digging around the internet.  I started in safe mode and renamed the 3 folder in the system32 directory.  I started normally and then removed the printer from the Device Manager.  Then I let windows reinstall it.  After that, I'm now able to print.

• The printer options not available when printing from Lightroom

  Hi all

  I have a problem with the interface of Lightroom 2 (version 2.4, executed in 64-bit mode on my Intel Apple Mac with Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard)) to my printer driver, an Epson Stylus Photo R800.  I can see looking through the forum that there has been a lot of problems with printers, but none as far as I can see that seem to cover my particular problem.

  In the Lightroom print module, after setting everything up, selecting the correct ICC profile for the printer/paper etc. I click on the button "print...". "at the bottom of the right panel to launch the dialogue of the printer.  My problem is that the essential options, I need access to this printer dialogue, namely 'Print setting' (to determine the media type, and print quality) and "Color management", (to disable the printer color management)-are disabled.  To be exact, these options have a line through them, as if they were crossed.  "Print option" and "Setting the Extension" are similarly disabled, while "Layout", "Paper handling", "Cover Page" and Planner "are available.  (See JPEG screenshot attached.)

  If I try to select one of the options not available such as 'Color management' I see the following on the screen error message:

  "The bundle 'Color management' couldn't be responsible because it does not contain a version for the current architecture.  Contact the creator of all here for the most recent version: Color Management 3.09, SEIKO EPSON CORPORATION 2001-Copyright (C) 2005. All rights reserved. »

  The strange thing is, if I print from Photoshop CS3, there is not this problem: "Print setting" and "Color management" are not disabled, and I can make the adjustments I want.

  Coming off the printer prints color are way off if I print from Lightroom, so that from Photoshop, they are great - I guess because of this problem (I can not turn off printer in Lightroom color management, so that I can in Photoshop).

  I guess that this is a problem in the interface between Lightroom 2 and my printer driver, but I find it strange that I don't have the same problem in Photoshop.

  I have re-installed the latest printer driver downloaded from the website of Epson many times, following the instructions to the letter to Epson to remove the old drivers of my machine, to nothing does not.

  I really want to print from Lightroom instead of Photoshop, I like the simplicity of the Lightroom print module.  Can anyone throw any light on this?  Any help or ideas gratefully received!

  Just save a driver of printer/preset in any 32-bit application. Then apply this preset when you print from LR runs as a 64-bit application. It is only the interface that is the problem. It should show very well, at least it does with Canon printers.

  I've recently set up a new Web site. It seems to be working and displays well in IE, Chrome and FF. My problem is Safari. The page is not centering (go left) and I'm also having a problem with

  my footer div background image does not repeat. I'm sure it's something simple (that is to say: stupid) I did, but it just escapes me. The other interesting thing is that the background for the footer image

  OK, first apology.  I know you said that you were done with it, but I didn't!  It's niggling at me as I read your post.

  If you are still interested, take a look at your page on my test site:

  That's what I did (the CSS is in the head).  moved the footer to the container.  Added the image of the grass to the bottom of the body. tinkered with the width thing.  At the left off the bottom NAV margin.

  This last step to focus correctly. I also put text-align: center on the body.

  I think that's it.  It's rambling abit but makes it very well on my iPhone.

  I'll take the page down in a week or two. I hope you didn't do this to me.

  I am trying to download a driver for the HP Laserjet 1320N printer

• HP6500A more: top of page cut off when printing and copying on HP 6500 a Plus.

  My printer has recently begun systematically cut the top of the page when I copy or print from my computer.  I searched the site for possible corrections and have checked all the firmware/drivers and all are up-to-date.  So far, none of the suggested corrections seem to do anything.  New ideas or known problems?

  I'm not a Mac guy, but it may just be a power problem, where the rolls are not picking up the paper correctly.  First thing to try is a test page.  If she clips the top as it does in the other pages, I will try following the steps described inthis document to clean the rolls of selection.  If the test page prints correctly, it may be something to do with the printer driver or software, or a combination of both, in which case I hope one of the Mac experts on the site can ring in.

• Void VI does not update when printing

  I try to print a report that I have created Sub vi in my main vi.  I have several entries that are generated in the main vi I want to put in a custom report, then print.  Currently, I have the report should be generated each time that I have pres the 'p' key on the keyboard. A pop-up message and ask me if I want to print.  When I say yes, none of my entries appear on the printed document - just a blank template.

  I have attached a few screenshots to view the code.

  Figure 1 is where I prompts the user to print and also send the entries in a table to be used in the sub vi

  Figure 2 is the front of the Sub vi (it's where the inputs are not being updated!)

  Figure 3 is a block diagram of the Sub vi

  Any help would be appreciated!

  Older than two months Officejet Pro 8630 (> 400 pages) - copies of plate or charger are shifted to 3/8 of an inch on a side. Printing from computers or scanning is centered.

  I found that turning on/stop margin shift and turning on the margins by default button a few times eventually set the output to the centered normal copy.

  If the settings are now to original (shift off and default on) the printer now copies centered. Must have been a burp of firmware. If that happens again once I try a hard reset to clean.

• Error 404 page not found when changing the target agent owner

  I use OEM 12.1.0.3. For all other target (DB, earphone, host, etc), I was able to change my account to another account owner.

  I sailed to targets-> all targets-> (right click on the target)-> target-> administrator access implementation.

  I used the "Change owner" button on this page for all the targets successfully. However, when I click on "Change in ownership" for the target of the agent, I get an error page 404 not found error. Has anyone seen this happen before? Is there a workaround to emcli that I can use?

  You can use the verb emcli change_target_owner to change the property of a target.

  Syntax:

  emcli change_target_owner

  -target = "target_name:target_type".

  [- target = "target_name:target_type"]

  -owner = "current_target_owner_name."

  -new_owner = "new_owner_name".

  Yes, I saw the "Not found" error when you attempt to change the property of a target of the agent from the console in EM 12.1.0.3. The operation works very well in 12.1.0.4 EM well.

  This thread is related to a recent thread I created (I'm using Apex 4.1.1.00.27, Oracle DB 10.2.0.5.0column link does not work on a manual tabular form .
  
  In summary, I have a collection that retrieves the information from the EMP table, a manual tabular presentation based on this collection, as well as a link in the DEPTNO field this branch to another page with a form based on the DEPT table.
  
  What I want to accomplish is to call the DEPT form in modal form of page which opened from my EMP Page.
  
  What I've done so far:
  1 DEPT Page uses the popup template and creates a branch to itself.
  2. the attribute of the link to the link column (DEPTNO): onclick = * "return false;" *
  3. I created a DA using jQuery Selector: * td [headers = 'LINK'] a *. Action: SkillBuilders Page modal plugin. Location of the URL: attribute of the triggering element. Name of the attribute: href. Scope of the event: live (dynamic Apex 4.2).
  4 changed the Security Application allow to stir in frames.
  
  My problem is that when I click on the DEPTNO column, if he opens not modal Page.

  Whether you use a wrong jQuery selector. There are no columns with headers "LINK." Obviously, you want the modal to open by clicking on the icon in the column 'DEPTNO', so all that is needed is to change the selector on

  td[headers="DEPTNO"] a
  

  You can always easily test your selectors when you use a tool like Firebug. Just launch the selector in the console, and it will show you any selected objects. In your case, the execution

  $('td[headers="LINK"] a')
  

  revealed nothing. Drop still 'one' did not. At that point, I was pretty sure that there are no columns with a header...

• How to make a button on a form that will not appear when printing?

  I have a strange request that I received recently from my employeer for a form that we are working currently on:

  We have a form with a button Acrobat created on this subject that links to an attachment.  She doesn't want the button to appear when the document is printed.

  Is it still possible?

  You can set the form field to be "Visible but does not print ' rather than 'Visible '. It is much easier than the script.

  I just upgrade Dreamweaver 5.5.  Used what I thought was centered at page template during site development.  Shows that centered on the mode live view.  After download of FTP to the server it shows crop on the left to explore. Any help out there?

  I have to recommend at this stage that contact you support backup of lizard for further assistance if you have purchased the full version of the Lizard Safeguard software.

  However, if you use the free to Lizard Safeguard PDF Viewer you are not eligible for the support of Lizard Safeguard and need to contact the site where you download the abandoned coat pattern to go would either have them allow you to download and view a PDF through Adobe unsecured. Or try a different file such as JPEG or TIFF type to print.

  If the Properties window does not appear in the Lizard Safeguard software and you need to change the printing preferences, you can:

  1. Click on the start menu
  2. Select "devices and printers".
  3. Right click on your printer C309a and left click on 'Print Options' to change your settings.
  4. Once your settings, open your PDF in lizard backup and when you print it to remember the parameters that you set under printing options. Once the print job is completed, return to the devices and printers, and open your new product printing preferences to restore everything to the way it was before you print the PDF file.

  If the problem is that the print dialog box does not open for you, try hitting Ctrl + P your keyboard at the same time and should prompt the print dialog window to open.
