• Open recent Menu shows hierarchy (root) folder of documents

  The "Open recent" menu allows you to view just the file name and for some reason any it now shows all of the folder hierarchy. It began to show a week ago. Is there a way to reset this option to display the file name only?

  I checked the preferences and applications under Edit Menus, but not luck. I also checked to make sure that the PS is the default to open psd files that I had tried some image editor and thought one of the tests has triggered it.

  It seems that you are having problems to open recent documents in Pages and Numbers because the lists 'Open the recent item' are now empty. I know how it is to use the option "Open the recent item" for quick access to the documents you have worked on so I can understand why the suddenly empty menu would cause concern it.

  If you are unsure that you have accidentally selected the "Clear Menu" option at the bottom of the "Open recent item" list, there are a few other things we can explore to refine the why this happened. The first would be bound to an external hard drive. If you have a hard drive connected to your Mac where you saved your number and documents Pages and you disconnected the disk, it can cause the "Open recent item" list is more to show those who record the items.

  Another possible cause can be the settings of your Mac. Follow these steps:

  1. Open on your Mac System Preferences by clicking the  logo in the upper left corner of your screen.
  2. Select 'General '.
  3. Down, select the drop down beside where it says "recent items". If the "recent items" are defined as 'none' instead of the number, it can cause you to display more recent documents in number and Pages.

  Although your documents to appear in 'open the recent item"currently, you can still locate these documents if you have backed up on your Mac, an external hard drive or iCloud drive. If you do not save your documents as you work on it, I highly recommend that you start doing so to proceed in order to avoid data loss.   Once you have made sure that the "recent items" in the preferences system is not set to 'none', your next step would be to open or to create a few documents in number and in Pages, close and reopen the number and Pages, and check if these documents, you have just opened, created are showing in 'Open recent' to ensure it works as expected today.

  When I pull up on the tab 'Open recent' numbers (and Pages), it shows "Clear Menu" - it does not show my recent files. I thought I fixed this time before. Why it is failing in the Menu 'clear' and how do I change it back so that it gives me my documents recently opened real?

  Hi Ken,

  Possibly a recent update reset the recent open to zero.

  Open system preferences > General > recent items.

  Type a value (say 10)

  Quit System preferences.

  If number is running, save your work, exit and restart numbers.

  Open some documents numbers and open the recent item will begin to list them.

  It is possible that you accidentally delete the recent items menu by selecting the menu item "File > Open recent > erase Menu:

  Maybe a recent system update has reset your system preferences > General > recent items to zero.

  

  Type a number (for example, 10);

  Quit the system preferences;

  Leave the Pages then revive Pages;

  Open some documents to repopulate open the recent item.

  Any improvement?

  If no improvement, shut down your computer and restart.

  "Recent articles" are at the level of the system and refers to other applications, not just the Pages.

  If you have numbers in the Dock are trying option-clicking top here.  If you're lucky, you'll see these recent docs there. Use this menu to open and close the docs you want to see in file > open recent.

  Basically what I want to do in QML is set the property 'visible' for a menu at the top to 'false' button, once it has been clicked and the new page open. For example. in the picture above, once I clicked on the 'Settings' button and open the settings screen, if I slide down on this screen, the 'settings' button should not be displayed because I'm already on this page.

  However, I did read your messages and take the direction of them. As happens regularly, there is usually more than one solution. I hope this helps someone else too.

• file does not appear in 'open recent '.

  After I finished work on an image in PS CC 2015, I save it and close it.  When I return to the PS and go to file, open the latter, it does not appear in the drop-down list.  Only much more old files appear, never one I just finsihed working on.  It's constant since I bought the CC.

  I use PS CC 21015 on Windows 7.  Is there a setting that I can hire to the last file I worked on to appear on recent configurations?

  Suggest you go to the file menu in Photoshop > open the recent item > clear recent files list > restart Photoshop and then check if the list of recent files is updated.

  OK, so it seems that there are two things that can happen here:

  • "See what's new" is now defined (as well as your regular home page) as your home page. You can re - choose your homepage simply only one page of the home button sliding. The details are in How to set the home page.
  • If you tried the solution above and it does not work, it may be that Firefox isn't able to save this preference for some reason any. In this case, reset Firefox will fix this. Instructions to reset are here - Refresh Firefox – reset settings and Add-ons. After resetting Firefox, you get to choose your homepage again.

  I am at the end of "the most recent difficulty updated" and the last thing I want to do before I head for the door, it is make sure when I open the menu and hover on things like the Favorites of history and options, that their submenus open when my mouse is positioned on the words or arrows. at the present time the sub menus open only when I hover over the arrow.

  I joined just to ask this question and I really need help, I hope that I find here.
  I have the latest version of firefox (before the beta 4 of course)
  and I never had any problems with it, I used to connect through ebuddy all the time
  All of a sudden these pages as when you type your email and password on ebuddy, it opens another secondary page on right side? These pages, suddenly open but remain clear and white with no link and nothing.
  and they do not open on another site who provide them, I just mentioned ebuddy as a way to explain what I mean.
  is it the settings? or it lies with firefox?
  p.s.: links on forums or msn to other pages like http; , they normally open and work, only these secondary windows that are the problem.
