Paint brush

Hi all
I have a problem that I have no software to paint brush in my Start menu, how can I download or activate this software?

Hello walid

It is not possible. The small app called paint is certainly component windows and, as far as I know, it is present in each operating system. I guess you have a problem with your application of paint. If the software is installed correctly, it should appear in Add/Remove programs.

If the software is the list but do not appear under start > all programs, you can make a shortcut on the desktop or insert this shortcut in the start of the single list. Start windows Explorer and try to find the s application file under C:\Program Folder name of your application. There must be icon (generally described as an application) that is responsible for starting the application. If you click with the right button of the mouse and choose the option called create a shortcut.

Good luck!

  • Paint Brush tool vs. Pen: why both?

    Hi all

I just downloaded CC. animate happy with most of the changes, but we really intrigues me: the paint brush tool.

Not to be confused with the Brush tool (which is still to animate it) Unlike the brush, paint brush tool tool is not draw with lock fills, pressure and tilt sensitivity or brush modes (Normal, fills, behind, selection, inside).

The closest relative of the paint brush tool is actually the pencil, with a few differences: it can make custom vector brushes and draw like fillings but missing modes of pencil.

My question is: why have both? Why didn't the Animate team just to extend the functionality of the pencil tool to make custom vector brushes? That's backward compatibility? Ease of use? Technical constraints?

It's a small complaint, but I find it strange that the pencil can do everything from the paint brush tool can do with just an additional command. (You can change a pencil line vector brush in the properties panel, after it is drawn, and you can change a pencil line to a fill to change-> menu form)

    Anyone want to tell me?

The paint brush tool is essentially the pencil, with 3 differences

    1. With the Brush tool, you can draw with brushes vector art from the library of the brush. (Object drawing mode will be fixed to) You can't do that with the pencil tool directly; Instead you have to draw a line, select it, and then apply a vector art brush in the menu dropdown style in the properties panel. (Note: you need to double click brushes vector art found in window--> library brush before they are added to the drop-down list Style)
    2. With the Brush tool, you can draw as fills or lines using the draw as fill the checkbox in the properties panel. You can do it with the pencil as well, but you will need to draw the line, select it, then click on change--> form--> convert lines in fillings to do the same thing.
    3. The overall behavior of the paint brush tool acts like a hybrid between the smooth pencil tool and straighten modes. On the one hand, the paint brush tool creates optimized lines similar to the smooth pencil mode; on the other hand, it performs similar to the mode to straighten shape recognition. If you draw a rectangle, an arc or ellipse, Animate will convert your drawing an exact shape. Recognition of shape can be adjusted under Edit--> preferences--> drawing--> recognize the forms.

In summary, the paint brush tool seems to be a new and improved pencil tool and the pencil tool is kept for legacy reasons. The paint brush tool is not the different modes as the pencil tool, but personally, I find the lines made with the paint brush tool to have tasks less problem than the pencil tool. The pencil tool creates lumpy line segments or hyper-redresse light arcs; the paint brush tool strikes a nice balance. With recognition of shape and Vector Art brushes added to the mix, the paint brush tool is an asset.

So in conclusion: change your shortcut 'Y' for the paint brush tool.

  • adjust the tint with the paint brush tool?

I have 2 good paintings together to appear like when hooked together. I like several colors in the two existing skies but just cyan edge seal on one of them is hue. Is there a way I can gradually adjust the hue of an area with a paint brush tool. In other words no paint on the texture.

An adjustment layer tint effects uniformly a whole layer or a selection, not what I need. I want to use a diffuse brush or Airbrush to tease gradually in a color change where I want.

Ideally, it would be surprising if I could adjusted the tint of end target so once the image reached this color it would interrupt being adjusted no matter if I continued to paint.

I suspect one of the dozen or so list drop-down MODE options like normal, color dodge, saturation... could do but nothing with that I've experienced seems to do.

    Is this possible?

Use the Bush set to color.

    Example of the color box.

Opacity allows to get the desired color.

  • Problem of paint brush, intensity white vs black intensity

    Hello

I have a problem with my paint brush tool.

If I paint on a black layer with my paint brush tool with: white / 05% opacity / 100% throughput, white is more visible than if I paint with black on a white layer (same settings).

More words, I did a video to show the problem in 10secs: https://youtu.be/aGxfBpHmrx4

As you can see, when I paint on a mask, it is very difficult to have something good about my race, because that white is more intense than black...

Someone else you have this problem? How can I solve that?

    Thank you!

    Hello

You can try to reset preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Also I want to say that reset preferences will make you lose your custom brushes and the presets.

  • Paint Brush tool o pencil tool

Hi the artist just sent me a vector drawing.

    1. when I scale down it's pixelated - this is supposed to be a vector.

    2. in addition, it weighs 173 kb while similar designs head weigh only 10 KB.

Is it because they are using the paint brush tool and if it is Yes, then why have the paint brush tool.

In addition, it would be better to draw in illustrator? Someone told me that illustrator has too many 'points', so when you import into flash it uses more CPU.

    See you soon

Maybe it's the AS3 forum and your question addresses a non - AS3 material... not even a Flash question - hard to tell since you mention very little about the image.  You should post questions like this in the general forum Flash.

  • How to fill out the lines that have been drawn with the paint brush tool?

I keep trying to use the paint bucket tool, and it does not. I need help, because I need to work on this animation.

It is usually because there are gaps in the line. There is a trick which called narrow gaps that is available when you click on the paint bucket tool. Select one of the options, and it's much easier to fill something drawn with a brush.

  • Paint brush tool help!

So I'm having a problem in adobe illustrator, where I can't draw the tight curves with the Brush tool to paint without the editing of my line program. is there a way to change that, or turn it off? The image on the left is what my line looks like before I release the left button of the mouse and the image on the right is the final path.

  • does not paint brush

When you are working on an image of this evening, I noticed that my sharp hard brush was not to fill with paint. Make a simple mask, the circle of the brush is not filled with paint. There is a white space between the current painting in the mask and the circle indicating the size of the brush. This makes it very difficult to control the edges of the mask!

Using simple round brush, hard edge, 100% opacity, flow and fill.

Photoshop CC the new iMac 3.5 ghz, 16 MB ram, 3 GB of fusion.

I feel like I did a race accidental key that caused the change, but may not know what the hell I did!

    Help?

    Thank you

    Barry

It might be that the size of the cursor in the System Preferences > accessibility > display is set to other than Normal

You want the size of the cursor set to Normal

  • Duration of paint brush

I found the property that is the duration of a brush to paint on a layer effect:

app.project.activeItem.layers [2].property("Effects") ("Paint") .property .property ("Strokes") .property (1) .property ("Duration")

It's a painting in two parts for the beginning and the end.

However, I can't seem to set these values - only read. Just curious to know if there is a value in read-only or if there is any way to manipulate time via script.

    I tried and it worked.

    p = app.project.activeItem.layers [2].property("Effects") ("Paint") .property .property ("Strokes") .property (1) .property ("Duration");

(key var in PropertyValueType) if (PropertyValueType [key] = p.propertyValueType) alert ([key]) / / alerts utaku

    Alert (p.value);     Alerts [-0.000008, 30]

    p.setValue([3,20]);

Alert (p.value);     Alerts [3.20] (the race begins and the time changed on the layer)

The first number is the start of the race, the second is its duration (not end).

  • Paint brush question

OK I painted a picture in Cs4 for awhile but I took a break from it for a few weeks and I'm just come back to her, the issue I'm having is how my predefined act towards my brushes. I used a brush of charcoal which when messing around with presets works similar to a real brush on how to show hair. It's kind of hard to explain, but I'll try. My brush when I was with her, had as an effect of brush dry; you could see individual hairs according to how I messed up with the brush shape dynamics, it might be thick like a loaded brush or it could be thin like a brush dry some. Now even though when I try to recreate the brush when I go to the dynamics of form his does only not the way it was before. The custom of thin brush it takes a splash effect when I moves to the dissemination and the size jitter, which has never happened before and I can't seem to stop. Before how these cursors would brush it would have extended hair now they simply add a splash on them and I can't change it.

    Brush.PNG

^ ^ ^ That the image is the brush before I mess with the presets. Normally I would spread the hair but when I try I get the effect on the image below.

    Brush2.PNG

I know it's a bad explanation, but I can't really understand what I'm doing wrong, I have reset the brushes I don't know how many times even with presets that I messed with the opacity and flow, but nothing works. I wonder is there anyone who has any idea how I can possibly fix? It is a problem because I need this effect of the brush in order to match the rest of the painting, any help or advice would be appreciated and sorry again for the poor explanation.

You missed my suggestion above?  Try turning down the traffic.

  • Brush Tip in CS4 and paint brush w advanced icons icons

Why in Photoshop CS4 is no icons tip brush paint on the edges of the line wiped out icon. They all paint pixels (etc.) 4 to 5 behind the line of brush tip. CS2 and painted 3 deaths on the dotted line of brush if you want. -What I am missing how to do? in CS4? I'm not painting with the brush and the BRUSH. I expect the brush tip icon to show me exactly what area I'm going to paint. Am I wrong?

This could be a case where someone has changed

System Preferences > universal access > mouse > cursor size

"to something else than ' normal '?

  • Photoshop can be used much smaller painted brush then the circle?

The is ridiculous, I got photoshop for 6 months and I can't do anything.  Nothing works.  The main problem is the area carried out by the brush is smaller then the brush.  I HEAR millions of excuses, but nothing works. No one offers a solution only a work around because nothing works.  Everything I've ever done I had to use a brush or Pixlr.  They work, but is not photoshop.  They refuse to ge4t me my money back, but I have nothing but problems. When you pay for something is should mean fewer problems either.

If your Mac to see if will System Preferences > accessibility > display and the normal size of the cursor setting solves the problem.

    or

System Preferences > universal access > mouse

  • Look of thumbnails of the layer like paint brushes, why?

I have 10 elements and have encountered the problem to have all the thumbnails in the layers panel to research as brushes in a little box rather than a picture of what is happening in the layer. No one knows what might happen?

    Thank you

    Sharon

Looks like somehow, you have the thumbnail layer content set to None.

Click the square of four twice in the upper right corner of the layers panel, and choose Panel Options. The radio button for the size of the thumbnails is normally placed in the middle.

  • Help! Poorly rendered paint brush doodles 1 point width

I have a graphics tablet (Wacom DTU-1631), hung on my Mac and I use it in Illustrator to capture drawings and writing during presentations (the Mac screen is projected on a wall and the idea is not to use a whiteboard). I am using the Brush tool for a 100% waist of the brush by 1 point in a 8.5 x 11 paper. I put the pen on the tablet screen and I write cursively I see clearly my writing is faithfully reproduced. However once I have lift the pencil, Illustrator seems to increase the thickness of my writing, insofar as the lowercase e and o often completely fill their closed loops. I zoomed in on these incorrect characters and it certainly looks like Illustrator is a very bad job made the paths that result. I wish I could post a picture of him! I try the same in InkScape for example and it works fine. If I select a larger size of brush he forces me to write more and then quickly decreases the effect of rendering bad way, but I want / need to use a size of about 1 point and 2 point is too large. Anyone know if this is a bug or if it is at my end pilot error?

If zigzag gives you the correct and desired result then

    1. go in the appearance Panel and dialog box

2 deselect New Art has basic appearance

    3. create a sample letter to the size you want with the Pt 1 round brush to 100%

    4. apply the zigzag effect.

The art of the next (the letter form) you create will zigzag applied.

If you apply a different effect, somewhere on the road, you will have to redo the steps above.
