  If you do not keep this library migrated and want to migrate the iPhoto again library. change the extension of the Library.migratedphotolibrary of iPhoto to iPhoto Library.photolibrary

  Then you can open it in Photos by dragging the icon in the Dock of Photos in the library.

  What is the 'alternative' open window that keeps popping up and what alternative programs you are requested to choose? Either by the way, not by chance is offered a selection of browsers to choose (this must be done in the UK and the European Union). If so just click OK button to connect to the internet. Once you have done this you will be given the choice of browser. If you do not want to change the browser, you already have IE 8.0, so I see no reason to change, then close the window and have no other problems. If you have a "Choose Browser" icon on your desktop, it can be removed.

Note that I used successfully the last version to fill out and sign forms.

  It is none of them. It's Chrome, which is ignoring Adobe Reader and showing the message.

  Solution: just save the document (with the message) to your desktop. Then open it in Adobe Reader. The 'real' should then display.

  It seems that you have empty fields of Digital Signature in the form.  Acrobat Reader DC complete and sign will add a signature of annotation with a PDF file that has Acrobat form fields or fields of Digital Signature in it.  Test it by opening a PDF file that has no form fields or fields of Digital Signature in it and who is not protected by security permissions.
