Paint in illustator points

Untitled.png

Hi all

I received a group of objects are made up of points. I would like to make a change on the color computer. Basically, whirling colors like Rainbow in the sky, but unfortunately I have not found a way to do. Y at - it anyone out there can help me?

Thank you!

I'm not see exactly what you want, but it seems like a gradient would be the way to go.

Select the points. In the swatches Panel menu, choose Open Swatch Library > Gradients > spectra.

A click on a gradient. As a first step, that each point individually fill with the gradient.

If you select the gradient tool and drag through the selected points the gradient fill points as a unit.

  • Paint a straight line on an angle using the Brush tool

    Hi guys,.

I know this might be a quick and simple question, but can someone tell me if there is a way to paint a straight line on a corner in photoshop using the Brush tool as you draw instead of using the online tool?

I know that you can paint a straight line by holding down the SHIFT key with the Brush tool, but I want to do the same action on an angle.

    Thanks in advance

Paint the starting point of your line with a single click and release the mouse button.  Then, move your cursor to the location where you the end of the line to be and shift + click here.  Fact.

  • 3D graphic color bug

I just discover new objects of chart 3D (LV 2010) and noticed a strange behavior.

If you colour the graphical object (not the plots), it cannot be cancelled (in other words, Ctrl-Z does not work).

That's fine, being a simple work-around to paint the object returns with the original color.

I think that it is considered a bug nonetheless.

However, it's something even more bizarre: If you paint the buttons 'Point of view' (or whatever they are called), depending on where you click with the brush, you can end up with a square middle button as shown below (at the bottom right):

The problem is it seems to be a workaround.

As Ctrl-Z does not work, I tried to paint the square with a transparent color and a few color combinations, but could not find a way back to the original 'no hidding the glyph square' situation.

The only solution is to "Return" to the previous state of VI (which is quite dramatic), or remove the graphic object and set a new mark instead (or replace it with a brand new), which is barely less drastic.

    What is a "known feature"?

The colors were staying not after you savings is the default setting for the 3d graphics but can be changed to stay after recording.

The mysterious projection palette color boxes that appear are due to a Boolean textbox on each of these buttons. The odd square is the bottom of the text. You should be able to do this boolean text invisible in replacing it with a sticker instead.

  • How to fill the space between the four points of the paint method?

    Hello

I have a graphics application and I want to fill the space between four points by painting method how I can do it.

    can someone help me?

Try to use Graphics.fillRect which allows to fill using coordinates xy as well as a width and a height.

If the points are not rectangular, you can try to use Graphics.drawFilledPath.

  • Help! Poorly rendered paint brush doodles 1 point width

I have a graphics tablet (Wacom DTU-1631), hung on my Mac and I use it in Illustrator to capture drawings and writing during presentations (the Mac screen is projected on a wall and the idea is not to use a whiteboard). I am using the Brush tool for a 100% waist of the brush by 1 point in a 8.5 x 11 paper. I put the pen on the tablet screen and I write cursively I see clearly my writing is faithfully reproduced. However once I have lift the pencil, Illustrator seems to increase the thickness of my writing, insofar as the lowercase e and o often completely fill their closed loops. I zoomed in on these incorrect characters and it certainly looks like Illustrator is a very bad job made the paths that result. I wish I could post a picture of him! I try the same in InkScape for example and it works fine. If I select a larger size of brush he forces me to write more and then quickly decreases the effect of rendering bad way, but I want / need to use a size of about 1 point and 2 point is too large. Anyone know if this is a bug or if it is at my end pilot error?

If zigzag gives you the correct and desired result then

    1. go in the appearance Panel and dialog box

2 deselect New Art has basic appearance

    3. create a sample letter to the size you want with the Pt 1 round brush to 100%

    4. apply the zigzag effect.

The art of the next (the letter form) you create will zigzag applied.

If you apply a different effect, somewhere on the road, you will have to redo the steps above.

  • Cloning - problems point source

I have problems with cloning with respect to the selection of a point source. I option-click on the area that I want to clone but when I use the brush to clone it works for part of the part of beginning of the brush but clone pixels, I did not choose. For example, I'm eliminating the reflections of a flat screen TV. I'll clone of the darkest section with no reflection but shortly after I brush the brush in the clone on the reflective parts of television will start painting in something the Tablet near the center of entertainment. If instead of brushing in what I would clone I am rather the equivalent of a mouse click, it works better, but is not as smooth and I find myself with obvious circles of the brush. I know that I can adjust the opacity, but I really want to know why I'm having this problem.

I expanded and reduced the size of the brush, when selecting the source point - always make sure that the source point includes only the area I want to clone. In my example above, I notice that if the distance between the black pixels of the screen and pixels colored tablet is 1 ", then the brush stroke when I clone the pixels used after on this same distance - about changes, give or take.

Does this mean that it is the only way that the brushes are working and that instead of being able to make a longer stroke I need to use several shorter strokes?

I'll clone of the darkest section with no reflection, but shortly after that I brush in the clone on the reflective parts of television the brush will begin painting in something the Tablet near the entertainment center

That's how it is supposed to work. You choose a point source to clone of brush and then, from a different point. The brush will cover a surface brushed with some form, and this area will be filled by a zone of the same shape, cloned from the neighborhood of the point source.

Then draw your strokes so short, that they will remain in the dark area. Clone several times, so you can use the short brush strokes, if the brush strokes are too pronounced, increase the flexibility of the clone tool.

  • Firefox 5.0 is partially paint on other screens of the application

Since the installation of Firefox 5.0, I'm having a problem with Firefox partially overwritng the screen I am currently looking. Initially, I noticed that when you look at a screen of Outlook I would get repainted Firefox Outlook parts at some point, but for now, I'll have a big problem with downloads of Firefox screen partially painting on the main screen of Firefox every 30 seconds or so that I'm downloading a large file.

In the case of Outlook, I have the impression that Firefox has a kind of feature repaint delayed but doesn't realize that the visible screen is so more than Firefox when he decides to repaint. It could be the same for the screen of downloads as the bar at the top of the screen is not reappear every 30 seconds, only a part of the screen.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4 and later versions, and disables hardware acceleration.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  • Non-contiguous date ranges - user painted XAxis - values?

I need to solve a problem similar to the described problem here.

I use a WaveformGraph. I would like to paint the Xaxis values myself. My thought (sorry), is that it would be nice to be able to override the XAxis class to replace the values displayed, because they are that is painted.

The data displayed are your standard double rooms more variety of time with each data point representing a sample on a regular interval (2ms). I want to view the data collected for several days, but I do not want to show the gaps that will follow when relying on the real sample time. Instead, I thought I could put my values of x to the offset (ms) from the beginning and instead of paint on the xaxis offset values, do a little calculation of date to paint the date value, according to the needs. This would allow me to set the gaps as needed. Alas, I'm not finding an overridable event in XAxis.

Is there another way for me to explore?

    Hello jsytniak,

While it may not really meet your needs, I came upwards with an example rather far-fetched that I think that shows what you are looking for, and I hope you can find a few pieces of it useful.  Here is a screenshot of the final result:

  • Graph XY lasso data points

Hello. I am looking for a way to draw several XY cursors, then use a lasso (like paint or photoshop) tool to select a subset of the sliders.

Lasso would allow the user to outline to draw a region with the mouse to select cursors within the lassoed area.

Labview graphics can do this natively? Or maybe someone knows an elegant solution to achieve this?

    Hi Marksyn,

No, that behavior is not native in LabVIEW.

First off, the selection can be rectangular, or should it be a "freeform"? The latter will be much more difficult to write, but it could look like this.

Build an event structure and case of mouse event down / mouse upwards (to keep track of when you press the button) and mouse move the XY graph. In the case of mouse move, LabVIEW returns the coordinates of the mouse control panel each time it moves. For the XY coordinates, use a node to invoke the graph with the method "Panel of XY coordinates." Make a list of all the XY coordinates until the mouse button is released. This table is your free form boundary. The tricky part now is to get a list of the "sliders" (or do you mean data points?) included in this limit. Let us know when you make it that far.

  • ICB is unable to paint child panels

I have a problem with the panels child fault to paint in the following circumstances:

I created a very simple application to illustrate the problem (attached).  It consists of two panels in one. File of the IUR.  I generated the default code of this and simply added the loading of the second round table as a child of the main panel and the display of this child Panel.

If I optimize the main panel, and then reduce by using the button "_" in the title bar, when the application is changed afterwards (by clicking on its button on the toolbar of the tasks or by Alt - Tab), the child window is not repainted correctly (I see my office through a hole in the main window when the child window should be).  It is only after that I put a control on the Panel of the child; If the child Panel had no control, he painted OK.

Sounds pretty basic, but I've been unable to influence this behavior with all the most obvious attributes of Panel (floating / important / furniture / style of the title bar / etc) and it doesn't seem to be a round table in which I can plug a fix because no case seems to be generated when the Panel is re-best.  Oddly enough if I minimize the application by clicking its button on the taskbar when it is already enabled, or by using the 'show desktop' he painted correctly when re-maximized.

    I'm with LabWindows/CVi version 8.5.1 (356) - which I note is also the version of cvirte.dll

and MS Windows XP version 2002 Service pack 2.

Is there a patch to do this, because it has all the features of the engine performance missing the paint event of the window for the child Panel or get confused about the cutting areas - which reminds me; by dragging the application window on the child causes to be redrawn and clicking on invisible group of child controls (if he is lucky enough to hit) works the usual Panel.

    Any ideas anyone?

    (Edit = I forgot attachment!)

    James & Brian,

It's probably the same question that has been discussed here. If so, it was fixed CVI 9.0. (Bug ID: 112287)

It's still not clear to us why it happens to some PC, but not others. At one point, it seems clear that the bug occurred with Vista Aero active, but we have now 3 instances of cases where Vista was not the culprit. So we do not know.

In all cases, the fix 9.0 should have supported the problem. To confirm this, you can download the CVI 9.0 runtime and try.

  • I loved painting and used regularly. Now he's disappeared! Where can I find a downloadable copy?

Not too sure what details would help. I can't believe I haven't used painting since the latest crisis in the hard drive and reinstalling XP.

Ok. I now seem to have a copy of paint job, although my procedure was slightly different. I deleted everything first the old copy of paint, then I opened an antique, never open, SP3 cd and inserted. The autoplay menu included "Adding optional components" so I just ran that and has acquired a different copy of the painting.

So all is well until the next surprise. Thanks a lot for pointing me to finger the XP cd.

  • system restore points will not work

I tried it in regular and I now do in safe mode with no luck.  I run MBAM and SAS and only found some cookeis get rid of.  IM on XP pro sp3 and the reason to want go back, is that for some reason, some of my programs have been moved (paint and Calculator have been deleted unless I use RUN: to find them) and then my documents folder is now inaccessible.  I need a restore point at work and soon!

Some security programs prevent changes to their file and must be configured to allow the restoration of the system work.  For example, if your computer has Norton Antivirus or Norton Internet Security, you must disable Norton product Tamper Protection before you run the system restore.
