• Satellite M70-144: graphic hardware bug

  I bought a Toshiba Satellite m70-144, December 2005. Very nice computer, but there is an error with the ATI Radeon X 700 graphics card. Pixels are placed in random places with random on the same screen of _avant_ operating system is loaded.

  I called the shop here in Norway, and they told me that there is a bug of material on the ATI card, and it must be changed. So I returned the computer to the repair shop, and they have changed the card and installed it. It was okay when I got it, but now it's back to where he was. Pixels of error are randomly placed on the screen.

  Before that the ATI card has changed, the computer crashed at random. Windows reported an error with the dll ATI drivers.

  Your laptop is still covered by the warranty, so I return it to your nearest Service agent for them to fix it again.

  As you say, the problem is not related to the operating system, so there must be a malfunction of the graphics card itself.

• Plot.Plot color bug?

  I am puzzled about this. Discover the almost identical two screws attached. Run one and try to change the color of the plot. Changes color according to the value of the color property. Do the same with the second VI (PlotColorWrong.vi). Try changing the color of the plot: it does not change!

  I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug of LV?

  As I said, the crux of your property is by looking at the second route for some reason any. The plot active set to zero and things will fall in place.

• Replace Document colors Bug

  All known bugs to replace the colors in the document?  I am running windows 7 with new Acrobat Reader DC.

  For example, if by default my document is black text with a white background and I change the white text and black background (Edition > Preferences > accessibility), I now have with black background and white text pages and other pages unreadable with black text on a black background.  Again, I have change the green on a black background and yet my entire document has a black background, but now some pages contain the green text, others have white text, and others have black text and cannot be read.

  What is the fix for this problem of accessibility?

  This does not solve the problem.

  The problem seems to be that Acrobat Reader only changes the color of the text for a single page in the document.  I found a work around by going to Edit > Preferences > accessibility.  There's a box of "change the color of the art online as well as text.  If this box is checked, then uncheck the box; If it is not checked, then check that it and the color of the text for all of the document should now be correctly formatted.  This procedure seems to ignore any bugs in the code it keeps updating the color of the text on each page, but these steps should be done whenever you need to change the color of a word processor based PDF.

• Pasted graphic color change

  Someone sent me a logo and it's a pasted graphic.  I need to change a color to grayscale.  Is this possible?

  First, you will need to désincorporer the graph and make related. Use the links Panel to do.

  If it's a bitmap graphic (TIFF, JPEG, etc.), you can convert it to grayscale in Photoshop. If you have a PDF file, you can use Acrobat Pro to convert it to grayscale using tools of printing Production, upstream, either the color Conversion. If it's all an InDesign document and you have InDesign CS6, you can convert the document in grayscale.

  I just bought an OfficeJet Pro 6978 and tried to print a document that has a blue logo in it. The logo is a drawing created in Photoshop blue and appears blue in my Word document. In the document, there's also a guy in blue and guy in black.

  Blue guy and the kind of fine print black - but the logo, which is supposed to print prints blue, black. I tried to change the color of the ink in the printer properties, but the only option I have is to enable or disable the gray levels. It is set to off.

  All Word settings are set for this logo to be blue.

  Help! I use this printer in my company and that the document seems really stupid with the logo in black.

  I thought about it: I had been using a .tiff chart. Changing to a .png and modifying the color in Word seem to do.

• Color bug (program error)

  I have a little problem since the week last with my photoshop CS6 extended. Everytime I try to choose a color or a change that my color of background and foreground, Photoshop tells me that he cannot perform this action because of a program error (I'm translating for my version of Adobe is in french).   You may need to reinstall Photoshop. If you do, you want to make sure that you disable Photoshop first. You can also use the cleaning tool.

• The history of color bug

• Several of each signs (symbols, graphics, color chart Styles) as default?

  I've created several groups of graphic styles, symbols, and samples that must be loaded whenever I launch Illustrator. I thought I'd be able to do this re-record on the 'new profile' but it doesn't load a group of symbols, a group of graphic styles... etc. So I go to load each additional and move it in the MenuBar (out of my way). Also, I have to change the symbols to list the name each time. Please tell me there is an easier way to do it!

• color, PSC 2400 part #H100632782 graphics display is bad.

  Graphic color display port H100632782 number is bad. It is on the HP PSC 2400 photosmart all-in-one series. The display over a period of time just disappeared. The chassis number is CA02124640-0001 model 5610.  I found another number of piece that can work in his place, he is 7Rh100680782.  All these suppliers I checked, no longer have the part available. I use this printer for a MacBookPro.  The software is Mac OSX version 10.7.5. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  HP Partsurfer site lists the display as Q3083-60016.  It is no longer available through HP, but you may be able to find a replacement with a Google search.

• grayscale grid color changing

  I need to make this simulation probe network nodes of energy levels. As the energy of node decreases its corresponding place on the grid changes color. I would like to draw each node on a grid defined by the values X and Y of the node. I want also graphically color each node in grey - scale, so that the energy value lowers the dims of color. I have attached the representation of nodes on a grid of gray scale. How can I draw the grid and how can I periodically change its color that changes of the energy values.

• Best way to cut the Texture of the graphic Logo?

  Hello. Can someone please advise me on the best way to CUT a texture of a chart AND be able to continue to use mutiple on new graphics colors? For more precisely illustrate my question/problem, here are the steps I took:

  (1) that I created a graph of the card as shown here:

  

  (2) I was able to cut a form of illustration of the map grid, using the tools of pathfinder. As shown here:

  

  (3) I then found a texture I want cut in graphic design that I just created. Since it is a logo, I need the texture is actually cutting the shape, not only sitting above it like a layer of white color. As seen here, this is what the graph of the card looks like with the layer of texture on top of it.

  

  (4) the only way I know, cookie cut the graphics card with the new texture is to hold the "alt/command" key while supporting on the "before" option in the tools of pathfinder palette. The only problem is that when I do that, a compound path is created, which converts the entire chart in one colour as shown here:

  

  I need the graphics to be the original 4-color. The strange thing is I could cut the world lines of the grid on the layers in the map very well (and still capable of changing color), but now I can't when I'm cutting the texture of the entire chart.

  Summary: can someone please tell me how to make the graph below. I need to texture is the cutting of the graph. The only way I can understand to the punch the texture of the image is to create a compound path using the pathfinder tool. This leaves me with a form of cutting correct that I'm looking for, but while Brown and with no opportunity to change the graphic back 4 original colors.

  

  Illustrator is hard enough without making it even more.

  It is a very simple step operation 4-5:

  • (1) make your graph of multicolor globe on a new layer. You 'can' block if your next layer becomes difficult to choose things.
  • (2) another new layer above the globe and create your lines of longitude/latitude and "texture." You can use white or black lines/texture, but one or the other. Select and group when you are finished. Suggestion: Make sure that all items are a unique, and no nested group.
  • (3) now, select your multicolor globe and groups of lines/texture "knockout" and in the transparency Panel, choose "make opacity mask". Depending on whether you used white or black, you may need to check "Invert mask" or "Clip".
  • (4) now... all you have to do to complete the chart so that it is a vector of 'real' with holes where a background should be apparent, as a "transparent vector trace" only (no need of masks), is: Menu-> object-> flatten transparency. In the dialog box choose: 100 vector, convert all the traits of contours and preserve Alpha transparency.
  • (5) Optional: you can ungroup the globe or the graphics and little cleaning, like throwing it to remove the useless way of 'group '. You can do it from the Panel layers as well.

  View, you don't need to select and recolor anything, because this method retains the previous colors, including transparency is now "flattened" and allows you to fine-tune the mix of color by itself.

  In the file of Lightroom_3_help.pdf ("update 03/12/2010') provided with LR3 (p22 low), it is said:

  «Note: Lightroom does not color - the view from the library on the second monitor module.»

  I have two monitors: one about the Adobe RGB (a HP LP2475w) range and the other about sRGB (an old Samsung), as well calibrated and profiled.  However, if the same image is displayed in library view on both, the colors displayed on the second monitor are virtually identical to those on the first.  It's true, no matter who is the main screen of LR and that is the second monitor.  But if Lightroom isn't a not color-managed the second monitor, the image would be likely sent as ProPhoto, which seems very very pale any monitor were the other.  Even though Lightroom has made the image as sRGB always on the second monitor, then there will be a significant difference when the monitor range were the second monitor (apparently not managed).

  Anyone can shed some light on this?  My tests suggest that the second control is managed by color.
