Paint Shop Pro 9 no longer works under Windows 7 (64-bit)

I was able to run the program without any problems in the past, but now when I try to open the program, nothing happens except the name of the program that appears as a process in the Manager of tasks.

Try to open a file *.pspimage results in the error "there was a problem sending the command to the program".

DotNU, you have installed on your affected computer of Dropbox, and if so, this is the version 8.4.19?

https://www.dropboxforum.com/HC/en-us/community/posts/208226823-8-4-19-stops-Paint-Shop-Pro-9-from-working

Ran in earlier this morning and Dropbox uninstalled. PSP9 suddenly works fine. If this is the case for you, you may need to uninstall Dropbox too and hope the devs to fix the problem in a future update. :\

  • Calendar task no longer works under Windows 7 64-bit

    Greetings,

Recently, I realized some of my scheduled tasks had ceased to work and have not worked for more than a month. My system changes frequently, because my machine is used for the development, so I regularly uninstallation and installation of various tools, packages, updates, etc...

Therefore the answer to the question, what has changed on your machine recently, several things have changed. Too many to pin-point and exclude.

In services, I try to start the Task Scheduler service and receive this error message:the Task Scheduler in service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs. I see this and it's Ok, all right. Service does not work because it does not need to be. The service is configured to run under the Local System account.

I then try to open the Task Scheduler application (Admin Tools > Task Scheduler) and receive this error immediately at startup until:remote computer was not found. OK, beyond the error and the Task Scheduler interface loads with errors. Status of the task: Reading Data Failed., active tasks: reading data failed.

Right click on the Task Scheduler (Local) node > configuration of Service account error:the following error is reported: the Task Scheduler Service is not running.

Hmmm... service does not start because it is not but Task Scheduler cannot function without the service running. Where should I go from here?

    Found the solution:

    Start > run > regedit
    Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\ (Wow6432Node\ on x 64 systems) MICROSOFT\RPC\INTERNET
Export this key to save first, then delete the Internet key (and its subkeys).
    Restart your system
Scheduler tasks and application Task Scheduler service works perfectly after reboot.

    • Not holding the power button down for 5 to 10 seconds none liked shutsdown Windows.

  • I have a piece of hardware that has only drivers for XP. Is it possible that I can get it to work under Windows 7 (64 bit)

It is a Dazzle 80 to convert analog video to digital.

You can use the XP mode if you have the professional or Enterprise version of Windows 7 Ultimate.  If you do not have one of these versions, you can use the Anytime Upgrade, and then XP Mode is free.  It works as a task under Windows 7, starts in 15 to 30 seconds, does not require a reboot and works very well.  The graphics are a little limited, but if you enlarge the window XP Mode, you can get a color to 16 bit 1360 x 760 which is not bad for something other than fast action games.

    Good luck.

  • A VB6 application does not work under Windows 7 (32 bit). Run-time error '339'.

Hello. I have a problem you're trying to start my program I wrote long ago on VB6. When it is run, it displays an error message: "run-time error '339': component ' COMCTL32." • problem with to get CS3 to work under windows 7 64-bit

My old XP computer (that I had installed CS3) died and I bought a HP laptop with win 7 64 bit preinstalled. During the installation of CS3, about 75%, a warning has popped up that says "adobepdf.dll is needed, pls insert CD vista". Given that I don't have vista and I'm under win 7, I hit ca
NCEL and installation continue without problem, apparently.

Once installation is complete. When I tried to open Photoshop and acrobat, the program tried to load (I could see the gray screen of photoshop, but not logo) and would become 'unresponsive' almost immediately and just at a standstill. With illustrator and indesign, I see even any screen, as if the computer just ignored me. However, under the tab "processes" in the Task Manager, I could see the .exe files listed as 'process', but nothing in the "applications" tab I checked the memory and it is obvious that the memory use has increased once tried to open applications. It looks like apps take memory but has not appeared. The only program that runs successfully is the bridge.

Adobe representative me: Please follow the steps below:

Insert the Windows 7 CD to find AdobePDF.dll, go to the
AdobePDF.dll_64 in DATA1. CAB which is included in the Adobe install file
    s. to copy the file on your system and rename AdobePDF.dll and then install it.

Given that I have not the cd of w7 (HP comes presintalled and does not include a win7 OEM disc) and I can't do the above. In addition, I'm not sure that my problem could be solved by the above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • The ADF Mobile preview pane does not work under Windows 8.

The ADF Mobile preview pane does not work under Windows 8 64-bit even I use Jdeveloper 11.1.2.4.0 version, but I use windows 7 64-bit or windows xp works fine.

How to solve this problem, please.

    Thank you!

    Hello

I installed JDeveloper 11.1.2.4 on my machine Windows 8 and the extension of the ADF Mobile. I can open the ADF Mobile Viewer. There is therefore no problem with this on Windows 8. I used the generic facility, which is that I have installed the JDK and then run the command for installing JDeveloper Java-jar.
