panning / scrolling of an image.

I looked in the forums, I tried to code example, but nothing will work. Now that the of it is the way that...

I'm developing an application targeting the OS version 4.5.x that allows users to display images in PNG format. The PNG files are 1728 * 1093 pixels to 204 x 98 DPI with a number of bits of the 1 (monochrome/Black & White)

The files are about 40-50K in size. I just want to show the image on the larger screen then screen size and be able to move the image around, Horiz and vertical scroll. Seems easy doesn't it... that ' be too excited yet...

ALL of the examples I see work with images seem to want you to retrieve a bitmap of the image source. I tried the example of ScrollableImageField class found elsewhere in the forums and it's too SLOW. The issue is that EncodedImage.getBitmap () is too SLOW. Actually, it's pretty bad when I have to make a dialog box to the user "your image is loading, you can case your device and I will ring you when it is ready see! ... When I convert the 43K PNG of a bitmap of the bitmap object is about 250K so I guess that's too big for a B.B?

I also tried to create a BitmapField object and use BitmapField.setBitmap (EncodedImage). This seems the quickest way and avoids the EncodedImage.getbitmap () HOWEVER I can't scroll through a BitmapField.

urrgggggg I like to shoot my hear out... or build this app for a device/most recent operating system, but I have to do this work.

Any suggestions?

DOE images need to be that big? What lower their resolution first?

I just bought a new Intuos Wacom Pro 5 and I am trying to configure shortcuts so that my workflow will be more effective, but when I put my stylus to pan/scroll and use it in Photoshop CC 2015, it lag/stutters a little. When I manually select the hand tool (which is supposed to do the exact same thing as the command on my pen) and use in Photoshop it does lag at all. Everyone knows about this problem?

I don't use CC 2015 there too many questions. However, I just test cc 2015 with my Wacom Intuos Pro and don't have your problem. I have my Pen down toggle switch together space to switch to the hand tool. When I press it I can pan the image smoothly and without any lag. With CC 2015 if I quick pan out from the coast to a stop well. My workstation is running Windows 10.

• "Pan/Scroll" on Wacom Intuos 5 button causes lag in Photoshop CC 2015

I use the button at the bottom on my stylus Intuos 5 "pan/Scroll. I used it frequently in cs6 quick pan and zoom around Photoshop documents. In CC 2015, however, there is a problem with the help of this button. The first shot, I do all button ' pan'scroll ' is fine, but the following traits that I do without releasing the button are interrupted by a half second delay when the document doesn't move at all, then immediately refreshes at my current position of the cursor. A similar thing happens when you zoom using Ctrl + alt + pan/scroll. The first zoom as usual, then subsequent shots do nothing for the first half of the second. Yet once, it is not arrived at all on cs6, and with the speed at which I usually panned and zoomed around documents, this severely cripples my ability to use the program. I'm running on Windows 7 and it's the only issue I'm having with CC 2015.

• Problem with scrolling of streaming images

Okay, so I have a horizontal scrolling of the image which consists of several thumbnails. When you move your mouse to the left it goes left, move to the right and he goes right. You get the story.

Here, the problem is somewhere by the continuous loop. I have properly in loop. There are masks on each thumbnail.

I have two instances of the same movieclip that contains thumbnails right next to the other. This allows the loop.

When two instances of thumbnails are both on the screen at the same time, some of them lose their masks while they are on the scene. Why is this?

you use actionscript to assign masks?

• How do I pan through a large image?

Hello! I use first elements 13 on Win 8.1, 8 GB of RAM.

I have a large image (2712 x 896, 96 DPI, jpeg-1.56 MB). I would like to add to my movie (1920 x 1080) and move it into the image. So I would like to than the video to begin to show the left side of the wide image and move slowly in to show the Center, then the right side of the image, more than 15 seconds or more.

So I add the image on my calendar. I checked the image file is right-side-around the top outside Parliament, but by default, it appears rotated 90 degrees to the left forward. If I use the window effects applied to Rotate clockwise by 90 degrees. Then I click the Pan tool and Zoom. This tool shows my new image rotate 90 degrees to the left, so it is facing backwards in the video (see attached screencap). He wants pan to the bottom of the image to the top, and I see no option to rotate the image in the pan/zoom tool. Is it possible to orient my image the correct way for panning?

I tried to set a framework for the development of pan in 'down' of the image (that is, the left side of the image, where I would like to begin the Pan) and a framework for development at the "top" of the image (i.e. the right side of the image). In this case, the preview window displays the image right-side-up top, but it always from a height from top to bottom. So, I see a lot of black (from the "border" well below the image), then the center of the image slides by (properly oriented, but moving up and down) and then I see more black of the border above the image. If PE is very confused about the image. :-)

Snap5.gif

First, you'll need to rotate the original photo using Photoshop Elements. Don't just apply the Rotate property in Premiere Elements or other settings won't make sense.

You say that you have insured that the photo is correctly oriented outside of Premiere Elements, but simply turning it correctly in the Organizer does NOT change orientation or rotation of the image. You must change the original photo in Photoshop Elements.

Once your original photo is correctly oriented, it's as simple as using keyframes in Motion or the tool panoramic and Zoom pan through it.

• Polygonal Lasso - how to scroll through the image?

In CS4, when presenting a piece of an image enlarged with the Polygonal Lasso. I can't continue after the edges of the canvas. The scroll bar does not work and I just end up creating points of lasso outside my intended path trying to move the scroll bar when the tool is active. The top and bottom of the keyboard keys also do nothing.

How can I, please?

OK, got it. Use the space key to switch temporarily to move.

• Pan/scroll is slippery. Is it possible to disable it?

I have been using Photoshop CS5 for quite awhile. This last time I used it was maybe Monday at most. Today, when I opened it to the top, I found that my "Open recent" menu is gray, because it was empty. So, I find the file, I open it and it seems that my settings are competely different now. The tools were all together in unusual amounts (settings default of maybe). I use plugins, but my brushes were all still there.

This is perfect, what bothers me is that when I used the tool hand and pan through the image, after I released, it keeps sliding for a bit. I can barely touch the image and it disappears completely the screen. I tried searching the Internet for a way to change this, but for the life of me, I have no idea of what would be called this feature.

How to disable this option? This is what makes it really hard to get where I want to go.

• panning/scrolling movieclip, to stop and start on rolling/deployment

Hello, I just started a new job as flash developer, but I'm relatively new to Actionscript itself (sounds stupid, I know).

The case is that we have a movieclip with a jpg in what we need to scroll from left to right, based on the mouse position. It sounds simple enough, but it will also be the FLV (flvPlayback) and other various buttons click on while panning.

What I need is a way for the MC to stop pan to roll over one of the pre-determined buttons.

I got the code below and get it done, but I have no idea of how stop pan when I need to, and then "onRollOut" get panoramic again.

bg_mc.onEnterFrame = function() {}
If (hitTest (_root._xmouse, _root._ymouse, true)) {}
Mover();
} else {}
delete panoramic_mc.onEnterFrame;

}
};

function mover() {}
panoramic_mc.onEnterFrame = function() {}
If (_xmouse < movieMiddle) {}
If (panoramic_mc._x > movieWidth) {}
trace ("Move 1 panoramic back');
panoramic_mc._x = (panoramic2_mc._x - panoramicWidth);
}
If (panoramic2_mc._x > movieWidth) {}
trace ("Move Pan 2 back");
panoramic2_mc._x = (panoramic_mc._x - panoramicWidth);
}
Inc = Math.abs (_xmouse - movieMiddle) * speed;
panoramic_mc._x += inc.;
If (panoramic_mc._x > panoramic2_mc._x) {}
panoramic2_mc._x = panoramic_mc._x - panoramicWidth;
} else {}
panoramic2_mc._x = panoramic_mc._x + panoramicWidth;
}
} else {}
If (panoramic_mc._x < (0 - panoramicWidth)) {}
trace ("Move 1 Pan before");
panoramic_mc._x = (panoramic2_mc._x + panoramicWidth);
}
If (panoramic2_mc._x <(0-panoramicWidth)) {}
trace ("Move 1 Pan before");
panoramic2_mc._x = (panoramic_mc._x + panoramicWidth);
}
Inc = Math.abs (_xmouse - movieMiddle) * speed;
panoramic_mc._x-= inc.;
If (panoramic_mc._x > panoramic2_mc._x) {}
panoramic2_mc._x = panoramic_mc._x - panoramicWidth;
} else {}
panoramic2_mc._x = panoramic_mc._x + panoramicWidth;
}
}
}
}

When you want the pan to be active call activate():

function activate() {}

bg_mc.onEnterFrame = function() {}
If (hitTest (_root._xmouse, _root._ymouse, true)) {}
panoramicF()
}

}

When you want it to be inactive call deactivate():

function panoramicF() {}

• Horizontal & vertical scroll bar on Image-Item

Hello
I have an image issue... I put a button to zoom-in and zoom-out, but I noticed that when I zoom-in, I see only the top left of the image.
How can I insert scrolling both vertical and horizontal bars so that the user can see the rest of the zoomed image?
Any clue?

Thank you!

Pezzo,
You can display bars vertical and Horizontal scrolling on the Image_Item by setting properties "Show vertical scroll bar" and 'Show horizontal scroll bar' to 'yes '. Unfortunately, you can't dynamically set these properties so that they appear only when you zoom in on the image. :-(

I hope this helps.

After I clicked 'Save the Message' a thought struck me that you could have two Image_Items in your form. The one with the scroll bars and the other without. Your Zoom button you could switch back and forth between the Image_Items so it would give you the effect to activate the scroll bars and turn off when you zoom / zoom back in the picture. :-)

• Flick to scroll between two images

Hello..

There are query... If I'm swap image on different periods, but still, can it be slide smoothly into the flow of water rather than move immediately. And what is the timetable? can we use for that and how to use it?

If they are in different time periods, then you use the timeline already. A way to have the images change smoothly from one to the other is to use a little by little melted on top of the second, or fade in the second on top of the first. They both must be present to make it happen, not in separate boxes (separate layers will allow unless you fade by using the code). You have to use Google for a tutorial on tweening.

• Create a slide show of pan/zoom of jpeg images

Hello

I am trying to improve the quality of the slideshow presented on this site: www.archscapecg.com. My knowledge of flash is quite limited. I know how to create the slide show, I'm not sure know how to optimize the quality and keep the file small. The original was created as a .wmv and then converted to .flv. I heard that create the slideshow in flash using vector images is the way to get the best quality. So, my questions are:

1. How can I convert a JPEG to a vector image? I can do this in photoshop?

2. how to convert the .swf file to .flv without quality loss?

It's the approach I've heard is the best, even if it's just someone told me. If there is a better way, please point out where I'm wrong.

Thanks for the replies!

No, a vector file must be created using vector drawing tools/software. Vector shapes are mainly of simple forms, either in terms of shape or color.

What you might be able to do to improve the quality must first, make sure that the images are sized for the application and you do not drastically reduce in Flash itself. Change the dimensions of the file outside Flash and then import them. The next thing that could help is to enable smoothing for images. This is a right the images in the library, select properties and then check the option to allow smoothing.

• Button in a Movie clip inside a part of the pane scroll - AS2

I have a scrollpane component instance named myScroller in a swf file. It is related to a movieclip named media. Inside the movieclip are buttons that don't work when they are inside the scrollpane. A button called "morris" so I tried to put the code on the timeline for the movieclip.

this.morris.onRelease = function (): Void {}

_level8._visible = true;

_level8.gotoAndStop (2);

}

It doesn't work - I tried to put it on the main timeline - above the scrollpane.

myScroller.morris.onRelease = function (): Void {}

_level8._visible = true;

_level8.gotoAndStop (2);

}

• image scroll bars synchronization control

Hello, I have a LabVIEW program using the Vision I want to use several Image controls in a VI. I would like to be able to synchronize the movements of the scroll bars. If a user scrolls left a window, I want the other windows to also scroll to the left the same amount. Is this possible? I know it can be done with 2D image controls, but I would do it with a picture (not external) control. It would also be useful to zoom in a synchronous way.

Thank you.

-I think we can turn the nodes property scrollbars. Let's see if someone else has an idea on the bars scrolling for an image programmatically.
-For zoom, you can use zoom property from the control of the selected image node and write the same thing to other controls of the image.
