PaperPort Professional 14 running on Windows 7
Based on the recommendation of a colleague, I just install Paperport Professional 14 on my Windows 7 computer. I'm having a hard time figure out and can't find UNAMA terribly useful.
- Can / should I download all files in My Documents simultaneously to Paperport directory anywhere? (I can't find a way to sync several folders at the same time.)
- With a few records that I downloaded, it now takes only minutes to load on my iPad when I open Paperport anywhere. Is this normal?
- How auto sync? If I make changes on my iPad and my laptop computer on any given day, how the synchronization process works?

trying to get test drive unlimited to run on windows 7
I've successfully loaded the pc version of test drive unlmt. on our pc that is running windows 7. but when you click to start the game displays the cd turns as it tries to load, after about 10-15 seconds the game window appears for a second then disappears completely and stop trying to load the game. I entered the Compatibility Wizard and selected all versions of vista and xp it and tried to reload the game under these parameters and the same thing happens. I've also selected the compatibility tool and let him try to find the compatible version (he told me vista)...

So the only option you have, is to install XP mode on your computer and then install the game in XP mode and try to play the game.

Family tree software does not run on Windows 7, Help!
I use a PC running XP for my family tree research and wouldn't buy a laptop to facilitate this, but the software I use--Family Tree Maker 2006 - doesn't have a patch of windows 7 and Family Tree Maker say they have no intention to create one, too much work for them apparently. I bought and tried the new FTM versions that work on Windows 7, but doesn't like them. Can I buy a Windows 7 laptop and 'swap' of Windows 7 for XP? Do I have other options? Do I have to buy a second-hand XP laptop? I also use a scanner LIDE60 cannon that seems not to have an upgrade to Windows 7. Any advice would be great.

Original title: installing windows live messenger update revealed a .dll file bad, maybe direct3d related.
I am running windows Vista professional, service pack 2. I just updated windows live essentials, specifically the Messenger and have since lost feature program.
The launch of the program, I get an error message saying:

Msnmsgr.exe - bad ImageC:\Windows\System32\D3D10Level9.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the provider of software for support.
"subsequently I do not have much in graphical material in the e-mail program, insofar as a chat window is empty (but I can still type messages and send them, without being able to see, or no response). I don't see this problem in any other program, but perhaps no other programs try to use graphics in this way. In principle, I could downgrade windows live Messenger back to what it was, but that seems more to avoid the problem rather than solve them.
I had a quick glance in the D3D10Level9.dll file, in the system32 folder: it has no size and is apparently empty. Conclude that this file is just broken and needs to be replaced?
An internet search indicates that this file is described as "Direct3D 10 to Direct3D9 translation Runtime". I was wondering if it was a directx problem, so tried to reinstall that. It did not work.
It seems to me that I need a replacement for this particular dll file that actually works, but I'm incredibly careful to find a replacement and the "tips" on how to mess with some arbitrary site system files.
Could someone offer any advice on how I should proceed with this? What danger is there to find me a replacement dll file, change the privileges of the corrupted file, so I can replace it and make the switch? It would be the right thing to do? My analysis of the situation is correct? Could it be solved with a relocation of a program?

Uninstalling and reinstalling the update of windows for a year that has put the file d3d10level9.dll on the computer, the problem has been resolved.

Get the Message After that recent Windows 7 update for this computer is not running Genuine Windows
I bought this directly from computer to DELL 9 months ago. After the last update of Windows 7, I get the Activation screen pop up:
"This computer is not current running Genuine Windows"
I tried some of the suggestions on the community forum - did not work.
I tried to re - activate Windows by phone - rejected
I tried to follow the directions on the error screen - unfortunately, I seem to get lost in an infinite loop, tried to contact MS Support by eMail... I can never get the screen to contact technical support by email. I'm trying this.

This is on a DELL computer. I contacted DELL support and they have a bulletin on the basis of their knowledge. The bulletin has a number of solutions for fixing this updates the BIOS including instructions, and updates the driver Intel. For me, the update of the BIOS seems to have solved the problem.

PaperPort Professional 14 installed on my Windows 7 ultimate, after many problems caused by older versions of the programs. It worked several times and now it returns a Windows «stopped working error» I followed the advice given by Nuance and found that the DEP is not the cause. Now, I am at a loss. can anyone help please.

I have not heard of Windows 7 issues that could be the cause of this problem and if
possible it is probably not the case.Check with the support of your antivirus/antispyware/security programs that may interfere.

I haave had this since 2008 HP Pavilion desktop computer. It came with Win 7 Home installed, and Office Depot had upgraded to Win 7 Pro. I ran it without any problem of validation for more than three years now. Tuesday I'll be back for an appointment and the computer went to sleep. As expected, no malware, regular maintenance tasks only were delivered. It's been several days since the last time that I made no change to the system (I upgraded a utility) and the system has been rebooted at least four times after that without problem. The only other change was an update of Windows. Interestingly, after that same Windows Update on my machine Vista, it refused to start (BSOD) and I had to go back to a two days old restore point - that fixed it. I always had a mysterious problem with Win 7 Pro machine that it creates restore points, but I can never find, so I can't have this option on this computer.
I'm trying to start a new business and cannot afford to be without my computer, or do strange things, or buy a new copy of Windows and take the time to restore a careful configuration of three years. I when I recently bought a new laptop from Office Depot, I also bought a Windows 7 Pro upgrade kit and installed myself. When I did, I realized that the update CHANGES THE PRODUCT KEY and I knew not when they improved the office... they give me new product key for the Pro upgrade, so all I have is the original OEM key and apparently going to lose my Pro upgrade if I need to reimage from the disks in the system or the OEM partition. This is not acceptable, either, and I have no idea how to go about face. The transaction took place three years ago!
Please help; I'm already running on the razor's edge with the launch of this company. This error is likely to destroy me financially. I can't do what I need to do on the laptop - it is a low-cost, minimal machine and specifically, has no office and the ability to perform graphics... things cutting-edge software that I need to be able to do.

If there is a just before your problem, try this.
If this isn't the case - as I say, CANCEL any act performed by ASC and uninstall it.

Persistent "...". not running genuine Windows' popup
Last week my computer started to show the popup "this computer is not running genuine Windows" every few hours. I have looked online and found out about the probable cause: the update of KB3004394 and the fix recommended: install the KB3024777 update...

Before installing the KB3024777, I checked the list of "Installed updates" and saw that kb3004394 listed. After using Windows Update to install KB3024777, I looked back into "Installed updates", and none of them has been listed.
Since then, continued the popups "not authentic". I rebooted several times, which did not help. I followed the advice (from this forum) to try to reactivate, that I did via the "Change product key" link in the system-> Properties window. I entered the product key of my Windows 7 disc, and after a short wait, he said 'activation was successful. I then rebooted. But still the popups "not authentic".
I'm out of ideas. :)
My computer is an Apple MacPro running Windows 7 Professional x 64, service pack 1.
I have run the MGADiag.exe program and add the results below.

In a way you're lucky it's a malfunction. The SPVCLdr64.dll is associated with the adware/malware Search protect led . It is very likely that your anti-virus or anti-malware product tried to turn it off and was interrupted.
To clean the rest of the malware Search protect , use a good software free anti-malware scanner like MalwareBytes. There are also instructions for manual removal at the following link.

I get the 0x8078012D error code when I run the Windows backup on an external hard drive. I have Windows 7 Professional. That suggests this error code is the problem and how can I solve the problem?
For people who read this thread, I offer the following information. I solved the problem by noticing that the problem could have been caused, when the system image is created. So I did a backup without creating the system image and backup is complete without error.
Then I used the backup program to create a system image. This time error (0x8007045D) was displayed. The error report says "the operation failed for a device error encountered with the source or the destination. If the volume of the source or the destination is on a disk, run CHKDSK /R on the source volume or destination and then try again using. »
So I ran chkdsk/r, and this program is a bad sector on the hard drive of my computer and fixed the error. It took about an hour to run the program. Now, the image of the system and the backup of data file work again.
So I think that the main cause of error (0x8078012D) is deborahgarbe of i/o error (0x8007045D). So if you get the first error code you can search for fixes for the second error code fix the root cause.

A few months ago, my PC Windows 7 Professional has started raising the notification "this computer is not running Genuine Windows" with the option "pay online now.
This Genuine Windows warning message a couple of times a day.
I have this PC for 4 years with no problems.
In Control Panel > system, Windows has shown as active.
I also noticed that Windows Update has stopped working.In my research, I found suggestions about updating the Intel RAID controller drivers, what I did and it fixed the problem Windows Update.
Genuine Windows warning messages continued.I was unable to find my original product key Windows sticker/disc for the game at the Windows on the PC product key.
This pop-up became really annoying, I decided to buy a new key using the button «Solve online now»
I placed an order for "product name:" GGOK - Win7 Professional English "and activated Windows with the new product key."I always get the Genuine Windows warning message popping up every day.
So my question is, how do we stop this message all the time to appear on a Genuine Windows active?

I recommend that you run Disk Cleanup or cCleaner to remove temporary files as this will reduce the time to scan security software.

You can try Compatibility Mode:
If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
Use the following steps:
(1) right click on the program
2) click Properties
3) click on the Compatibility tab
(4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

If compatibility is not successful, then try and self-test program compatibility issues:
1. open the program compatibility problems theStart button.

2. follow the instructions in the troubleshooting.
