  That's what I get on my ThinkPad when I try to do the networking. I placed all the parameters correctly: all 3 of my computers are set the same. 2 workstations work perfectly. I, ve gone through all parameters twice. I've even set the C drives to share via the menus of context on each computer. I have visited many forums with none even come close to this problem (they all will tell you how to set the network parameters or they get very technical and over my head).

  I use a wired network.

  Laptop & 1 desktop computer running vista - 1 desktop computer running xp.

  They have all the latest service packs ms & udates.

  Any help will be appreciated.

  These files can be opened by norton or lenovo network setting apps. The settings do not work only in the application of network of vista. Nor can I work norton or lenovo from other computers.

  I tried new drivers & returned through sharing & permissions, according to Jack, but he was not good. At the level of experience of my computer I can miss something obvious, but I doubt it because I've been very careful in following the instructions.   Rename the Pending.xml file, and then change the registry.

  To rename the Pending.xml file, and edit the registry, follow these steps.

  
  (A) start Windows Vista and go to system recovery options:

  1. Insert the Windows Vista installation disk into the disk drive and restart the computer.

  2. When you are prompted to restart from the disc, press any key.

  3. When you are prompted, configure the language to install, time and currency format and keyboard or options for method of entry that you want, and then click Next.

  4. on the page to install Windows, click on repair your computer.

  5. on the System Recovery Options page, click the version of the Windows Vista operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.

  B) use the system recovery options to rename the Pending.xml file and edit the registry:

  1. in the System Recovery Options page, click command prompt.

  2 type cd C:\windows\winsxs, and then press ENTER.

  3 type ren pending.xml pending.old, and then press ENTER.

  4. type regedit and press ENTER.

  5. select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

  6. on the file menu, click on load the hive.

  7. look for the following folder:

  C:\windows\system32\config\components

  8. When you are prompted for a name, type Offline_Components.

  9. in the registry editor, find and delete the following registry subkey:

  HLKM\Offline Components\AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving

  HKLM\Offline Components\PendingXmlIdentifier

  C) exit the Registry Editor:

  1. at the command prompt, type exit to quit the registry editor.

  2. press ENTER.

  3. click on restart.

Change of the cable or plug another old VCR, same tuning the VCR output channel (37) does not solve the problem. After an hour of reflection, I changed the parameters of location in the United Kingdom and the image finally transformed into bright colors.

  You know, my friends that the Windows Media Center still think here in Central and Eastern Europe that we still live behind the iron curtains and continue to use former SECAM television systems.
