Params for the IOM handler

When developing an event handler how I provides configuration settings to the initialize method?  The hash table is always passed as null by default.  This parameter is not used?

It is not used.  Leave it as what.

What are you trying to run?

From what I've observed, the media files are saved on the catlog. If you click Catlog and right-click on the media file and click Open, you would see the details on the file (datastore, host). When you return to My Cloud and select the virtual machine, you will get to see the ESX host where it is now supplied the data store where the CD must be shared with this ESX host where the virtual machine is configured.

I'm not sure if there is no work around and shared storage usage is mandatory. Try to use Openfiler to create shared storage and use at end of test.

  • The IOM Update Status: update

Just curious if anyone has faced an IOM firmware update that takes forever. I'm working on an area of 2 chassis with a pair of FIs in a HA pair. The two IOM (2208xp) in two chassis updated quickly (well, fast for firmware UCS updates, for about 15 minutes). But the two IOM in chassis one was stuck at 66% for nearly an hour now.

I followed the guide of the UCS 2.0 software update. So far, I have activated UCSM. Now I'm waiting for the IOM to update, so I can activate their versions of boot, then activate FIs them and restart to finish update of IOM.

I'm tempted to push forward with the activation of FI subordinate at this stage, given that should force the IOM in its path of data to update. But something about these two IOM being stuck in the update for so long has me... concerned.

    Any advice?

    Hi Michael,

It looks like you can hit a known bug:

    http://Tools.Cisco.com/support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCto68104

I would say invocation a TAC case and we can apply the workaround to resolve the problem.  The process does not have too much time for us to perform.

  • Call the menu Handler for a transfer out to external number

I'm completely hide on that's why I can't understand this configuration... It's pretty simple:

The appellant takes the phone and he made a call to the Unit Manager... The message says to the press '1' to be transferred to the technical support.

I can do this with extension 4-digit fine to a transfer of Subscriber.

But my '1' in this example must be the transfer of a number of external... How is this work?

    Thank you!

You map either the 1 button for "attempt to transfer for" a call handler configuration to dial the external number (i.e. "9,1234567" in the chain of transfer) - or you can have 1 go to the conversation of "transfer system" which allows users to "free dial" the transfer number themselves (if he spends gathering with the restriction for this table). This assumes you're on a newer version 4.x of the unit.

the former resembles what you want...

A call to ToString on null will give you the exception. You should check that the value is not null before calling toString() on it.

In addition, you must perform an additional control on the user object that you receive after your try catch block. If the user object is null, then there is no need to run code on the user object.

    Hi Experts,

I'm upgrading to IOM for the new patch 11.1.2.0.0, in the guide that the step is given as

Set the ORACLE_HOME directory in your system. For example:
    setenv ORACLE_HOME/opt/oracle/mwhome/Oracle_IDM1
Apply the hotfix for the ORACLE_HOME bundle by using the following command:
    opatch apply
I do the above given steps, but I'm not able to run the fix it givens me error

    Help, please!

You must add OPatch to the PATH variable before running the command opatch.

OPatch folder is home of the IOM.

  • Exception handler, not shot context except for the Subscriber to events

    Hello

Is it possible to make the activity of the exception handler when an exception is thrown by the Subscriber to the contextual events?

In my application, as well a parent workflow and a child task flow (a task with fragments of page that is inserted into the parent company) have some activity of the exception handler.
When an exception is thrown by one method other than the Subscriber to contextual events (for example, the action listener), the activity of the exception handler is triggered as expected.
However, when the parent task flow publises a contextual event which is underwritten by the child workflows and the Subscriber throws an exception, the exception handler is triggered neither the parent nor the child workflows.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

function when the exception is thrown. The ADFc exception handler does not fire for exceptions that occur during the RENDER_RESPONSE phase (so it is one thing to check). In this case you must use a try-catch block. It also depends on what is exactly raining the exception (e.g. What is the bean of the code where the Manager, or a problem on the producer, is the involved link layer, etc.).

I have a conditional button Exists on a page that contains a SQL query to related tables. However, for 10 minutes every day where the target of the link database becomes a cold backup, the query fails. In the apex 3.2 old, I just had an error within the region where the button is located but otherwise, the page was still visible:

"Is not valid/not exists condition: ORA-02068: following a serious error of MYDBLINK ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: there is no shared memory realm."

However, in the apex 4.1.0.00.32 I get the following unhandled error and click 'OK' brings me to the edit page when logged in as a developer.

that is, the page cannot run at all so that the links to the database fail to this one area.

    Treatment of error condition.
ORA-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection
Technical information (only visible for developers):
    is_internal_error: true
    apex_error_code: APEX. CONDITION. UNHANDLED_ERROR
    ora_sqlcode:-12518
ora_sqlerrm: ORA-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection

    Component.ID: 4

    error_backtrace:

    ORA-06512: at "APEX_040100.WWV_FLOW_CONDITIONS", line 272

    Users generally see this:

    Treatment of error condition.
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-02063: preceding the line of MYDBLINK

by clicking on 'OK' takes the user to another page, don't know how the Summit decides that, but not a concern at the moment.

I did a search and read the http://www.inside-oracle-apex.com/apex-4-1-error-handling-improvements-part-1/ page, but the new apex error handling is not clear to me, and I don't know if the apex_error_handling_example provided on this page would be applicable to this situation.

    Hello

It was my fault, I forgot that the code will be compiled on the fly which already fails if the table/view of deletion is not accessible. Nice that you found yourself workaround.

    Concerning
    Patrick

  • The IOM for Peoplesoft connector - you can copy a user?

PeopleSoft inside there is a function copy of user profile that allows you to make an exact duplicate of the user, including security. We use this function when we change a user name (say someone marries).

Has anyone found a way to make the IOM?

    Thank you.
