Parse error META-INF/application.xml
12.1.3 Jdev
I was creating a POC on the deployment of the ADFBC components as a service.
I followed all the steps of http://technology.amis.nl/2010/12/29/quickly-creating-reploying-and-testing-a-webservice-interface-for-adf-business-components/
But when I deploy, I get this error below. And I do not have this file in my application. Please help, is there any other configuration must be in 12 c?

Hello
Found on the issue. Please omit the last step in the link above to create a profile to deploy the EAR file.
Rather, we should make the profile with which the model is created. It works very well.
Thank you

No META-INF/application.xml found in the EAR
I create an EAR to help:
jar - cvf e:\workspace\otnapp\otnapp.ear
Then I depoy this EAR through:
e:\jdk160_18\bin > java weblogic. The Deployment Manager - t3:\\localhost:7001 - user weblogic passwork - eu1-deploy adminurl - download e:\workspace\otnapp\otnapp.ear
But I get an error as follows:
java.io.IOException: META-INF/application.xml found in the EAR otnapp.ear
How to change the jar in the command line? The jar utility is just a packing algorithm, you can compare it to a zip program, so if you don't have any
META-INF/application.xml in your directory to pack, the file is not created for you.You must use JDeveloper to package your ADF application and let JDeveloper and the necessary files
so that you can deploy your ADF application. -

no idea why I get this error:

I bet you're under Windows 7. The customer is currently divided on 7 and compatibility modes will not help. The frustrating bit is that it works on Vista.

Howdy. I just got this error and I hope there is a quick fix for it. I can't open Dreamweaver - it fails to initialize. I get a fatal XML parsing error:
An invalid document structure, line 1: < file path > double Screen.xml
Has anyone met with this error before?
Please advise - it's very urgent.
Thanks for taking a peek
Best,
IKE
Have not known this, but can you locate this file on your system and move it to another location? After that, restart Dreamweaver, Dreamweaver must re-create this file and I hope that everything will work. Basically something is corrupt in this file and Dreamweaver must recreate a 'proper' version of it - I think. Anyway, this output from test and see if it solves your problem. If this isn't the case, after return and we certainly through other troubleshooting tips...

parse error the server clients.xml file
Hello
I just installed ESX4i on a stand-alone server and I get error indicating:
Parse error the server "servername" clients.xml file Connection will continue, contact systems administrator
Clicking OK is followed
"The type initializer for ' VirtualInfrastructure.Utils.http.webrequestproxy ' threw an exception
No idea what may be the cause. I installed the vSphere client.
See you soon
Please consider my response as 'useful' or 'proper' marking
If you installed on Windows 7 search the forums a good thead on the same error and a workaround there.

My project structure:
EAR file
EJB.jar

validation. XML
I changed validation.xml file ear-file/META-INF location and my project deployed.
I am looking for this reason for question in java, I find good answers the getResource method to find the resource in the file system and if the file exists in another jar file, you need by using the getResourceAsStearm method. According to this, with changed location of the file this problem solved.
But this approach is not good for a condition that each module has custom validation bean configuration.
Thank you.

This didn't happen with the version 3 x, nor with the previous v4. Using the arrow to the left and clicking on the previous page request usually works ok. It happens several times a day. Full error is

What Firefox locale (UI language) do you use?
Try a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.
- Download the installer of Firefox and save the file to the desktop
https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/all/
If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.
- Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.
- Download the installer of Firefox and save the file to the desktop

What Firefox locale (UI language) do you use?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

Can you give us some details? When this message display? Is in your phone or your computer? What is your language? More information you can give us the best.
You use the add-on and Firefox 4? If so, I'll ask you to disable and remove the add-on: Sync is now part of the Firefox browser and you don't need the add-on. [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=644894 some users solved this problem by uninstalling the add-on.]
