Part of the 'geography name referring to program' of the upgrade process?
Hi all
We were upgraded to R12.1.3 and currently in the first iteration.
When you query the former transaction window workbench Transaction we get,"'the system cannot determine the geographic information for this place and cannot be derived from a tax jurisdiction. Contact your system administrator"error.
I ran the "geography name program referencing" after getting this error. and that the error has been resolved.
Advice kindly, 'name geography program SEO ', is it process a part of the upgrade or manually run the program.
Thank you

I have windows 7 key to business, how can upgrade to windows 10. I see that it is not included in the upgrade process.
In some forum I read, I can upgrade with a small charge for windows 7 ultimate, and after that I can move on to W10. Someone can tell me where and how do I upgrade to W7Ultimate?
Thank you
Windows 7 Enterprise is a volume license customer, it is not eligible for the free upgrade offer. If you have Windows 7 Enterprise through your employer, contact the network administrator or your Help Desk Support staff for more information on the upgrade to Windows 10 company.
If you need Windows 10, you can purchase one license other wise, then perform a custom installation. You will need to reinstall the drivers and applications and also to save your personal files.

Hello
I think passage of v5 to v5.5 and hope someone can help me with the following questions:
- Is it possible to uninstall v5 (so I don't have two versions on my system)?
- Is there a reason I should not perform an uninstall?
I'm running on Mac OS X 10.6.8 ID (snow leopard).
If additional information about me or my system would be useful, please let me know.
Thank you!

What is the upgrade process to Windows 7 Ultimate from Windows 7 Business Pro
I saw on the Microsoft Website I can go to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate with Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade.
How can I upgrade Microsoft Business Pro to Windows 7 Ultimate. It may be on your Web site, but after 2 hours of searching, I can't find, thank you
I don't want to waste money to buy Windows 7 Anytime upgrade and not sure it will work.
Have you looked at this link to see if it is really interesting to do? There is very little difference other than Bitlocker and change languages.

When I "woke up" my laptop, he said that it was up to date. " He was locked up on # 3 of 16 updates for hours. There seems to be nothing can I do to stop this process and I can't access my computer.
Hello
Step 1: If it is still stuck on installing update screen and restart the computer, choose start normally and check.
If you can connect to Windows and not all updates have been installed, you can install the updates one at a time and check.
Step 2: If you are unable to start up normally on the desktop, you can follow the steps in this link to do a Startup Repair tool or system restore starting from version full Windows 7 disc to boot up to the desktop:
Step 3: If you are able to start normally, check the update history to discover the updates installed by following the link:

The upgrade of the PIX firewall
I currently have two firewalls Pix 515 (v4.4 and v6.2). I want to update the v4.4, but am unable to download the software from Cisco. Whenever I try to download using the link 'download pix software', it times out.
I have already set up a tftp server and plan on the use of monitor mode to perform the upgrade. I already did a "write net:" to save the current configuration. " In addition, the original configuration remains intact, or they will be lost after the upgrade.
Thanks in advance.
Looks like you may have a problem with the download or the browser proxy. Try another host and/or browser and see if it works better.
Since the PIX 4.4 software and versions later, you can go directly to any newer version of the software. To preserve your config, but it's always a good idea to back it up before an upgrade as you did. The config in the PIX is actually not get converted when PIX is restarted with the new software - what happens the first time you do a "write mem" under the new software, it is so important to remember to do as part of the upgrade process. You can then check the config freshly recorded against your configuration of backup for all differences. In addition, it is important to check the Release Notes before upgrading, but if you have a config PIX relatively simple it will probably be fine. One thing you want to do is migrate away from lines on access lists. Cisco is a utility that allows to convert them for you, and it does a very good job as long as your config is not too complex, so I might suggest to give it a try and see how it works for you. The downloadable version of this utility must be on the same page as other PIX software download, and there are versions for Windows and Sun Solaris.
Good luck!

Hi all
I want to upgrade to Windows 7 Windows Vista Enterprise. I read on the ability to upgrade to Windows 7 at low administrative cost by HP upgrade program. However, the site mentions that I can only upgrade from Vista Home Premium, business or ultimate edition. My laptop HP (the EliteBook 8530w) had Windows Vista Enterprise is installed. So I want to know if it is possible for me to upgrade to Windows 7 using the upgrade HP program.
I bought this laptop from my University. They had a program, so we could buy our laptop with many applications that we need for our study pre-installed. It could be that they have replaced the Vista HP installed with Windows Vista Business version. If this is the case, is it possible for me to somehow re - install the previous version of Vista, so I can still take part in the upgrade program?
I bought my laptop at my University. They have installed all the software and it is possible that they also installed Windows Vista business. When I looked at the description of the Elitebook 8530w, he mentioned Windiows Vista Ultimate as the operating system. So I am clueless why my University is using Windows Vista Enterprise.I have decided that I will contact HP support on this issue, to see if I can install Vista Ultimate and then upgrade to Windows 7.
UPDATE: I contacted just HP support by phone. The Elitebook 8530w comes with Vista Bussiness installed and they send me an installation disc within 14 days. They have also described here it might be possible to do a clean install with upgrade cd, although they did not know for some. I think I'll try the clean install first, and if that doesn't work, I'll install Windows Vista Bussiness and then perform the upgrade.
In any case, I want to thank everyone for the help they provided.

A Manager may ask a third party to be part of the evaluation
Gurus,
We are implementing PMS in R12.2.3
We have a requirement that if a manager can ask a third party or a participant to be part of the evaluation process?
Is this possible via the seeded approach?
BR,
S
In R12.1.x, system allows the Manager to add a participant/person in the evaluation process (step 2, add Participant) while to introduce him.
Hopefully, similar functionality would be there in R12.2.x.

Move the database as part of the Oracle 12 c upgrade files
Hello
I read the document upgrade Oracle for the database Oracle 12 c.
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E16655_01/server.121/e17642/upgrade.htm#CHDJJJEE
Here in DBUA, step 8 says that
Move database files in the page, select an option:
- Move database as part of the upgrade files
- Move the quick recovery as part of the upgrade area
I wonder why we never need to use this feature to move database files?
I understand for FRA, it will define just the parameters
DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST
andDB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST_SIZE
parameters to initialize at the new location and size new startup of the new home of Oracle database. But why never use us animated here database files option?Thank you
Delphine
There is no requirement to move the database as part of the upgrade files. It is simply provided as an option

Original title: OEM Windows XP Home SP3 update XP Pro
Here is a compilation of the messages from another forum regarding
My problem:
---------------------------------------------------------------I'm trying to upgrade a Windows XP Home Sp3 OEM system to
Windows XP Pro. (There are a few Pro features
that are not available in the House I now need: (1) the files offline and
(2) an add-on available for free to Onenote 2007, Top2onenote, requires a Pro).
I don't want a clean install, but an upgrade. I bought a Windows XP Pro
Upgrade CD on Ebay that was Windows XP Pro
Gold (v2002). I'm sure that's true for the following reasons:It has been listed as an upgrade, but the CD is not labeled "Upgrade".
It seems very authentic with all Microsoft holography.
He came in the standard package of Windows XP (without box),
and it was sealed.
The name of volume for the CD is WXPFPP_EN. The Internet,.
It is the retail of Windows XP Pro RTM (gold)! Here are things I tried initially.
(1) I tried to upgrade to Pro from the purchased CD. It is immediately
has refused to upgrade indicating the upgrade OS (Pro) is older than the
installed OS (home)...(2) I read about "slipstreaming". "Slipstreaming" allows to integrate
a service pack with an earlier version of the operating system. I created a
upgrade XP Pro SP3 with Nlite slipstreamed CD image (and
Autostreamer later, but it made no difference) from the purchased CD
and a file containing SP3.After you burn the CD and start the upgrade
(Windows installation), the upgrade process
product through "information collection."
"Dynamic update" and "Preparation of Installation" with
no problems. My computer restarted and returned to
"Installation preparation". A progress bar called 'Progress '.
quickly filled to about 90% and the hanging system
at that time there for about 15 minutes.
Then, I got the following error message:Setup cannot set the required Windows XP configuration
information. This indicates an internal Setup error. This is where I am stuck. I had to leave the installation at this point.
My drive is starts raining and I had to restore a backup.(3) just for the heck of it, I formatted my hard drive and
reinstalled my original OEM XP Home SP3 OS (no clean up, no user file).
I immediately used my XP CD slipstreamed Pro to try one
upgrade to XP Pro and IT WORKED! I need to find out why the
properly clean XP Home OS upgraded to XP Pro but my pre-existing
(with the files users, drivers, etc..) XP Home OS does not level
successfully to XP Pro.
-------------------------------------------------------------Another post:
Yet once, today, I installed a new copy of OEM Windows XP Home Sp3.
I continue with installation of all the essential and the add-on
pilots (essentially all my original version). Then, I
set up a network connection and firewall. With this configuration,.
I ran the Pro XP slipstreamed SP3 CD. The upgrade to XP Pro
success (even if the upgrade not configured my graphics
card properly). I guess my current problem is either the registry,
the WINDOWS, some user file or parameter file.
---------------------------------------------------------------Another post:
I made a file and the backup of the folder C:\Windows folder
on my system that is pre-existing (OEM XP Home Sp3). I also did a
separate the backup the State of the 'system' on my pre-existing system.
These are added my full image backup of her pre-existing
system a month ago.I did a backup image of my system (minimum fees OEM XP Home
SP3 with all the original installed drivers over a network configured
connection and a firewall configured). This system will upgrade
XP Pro with XP Pro SP3 slipstreamed CD successfully.Experiment 1:
I've restored my minimum system. I then restored the C:/Windows folder
and the State of the pre-existing system backup system. A startup
has managed (with a minor irritant). I had to activate Windows.
Then, I tried upgrading the slipstreamed XP Pro processor. He stopped
at the same place during the upgrade and gave the same error as before:Setup cannot set the required configuration information Windows XP.
This indicates an internal Setup error.Experiment 2:
I've restored my minimum system. I then restored the system state only
the backup of the pre-existing system. After startup I was asked to
activate Windows, but answer Yes to the question would be to disconnect me
the system. I couldn't get connected to try the XP Pro upgrade.Experience 3:
I've restored my minimum system. I then restored only the C:/Windows
the backup of the pre-existing system folder. Once again, as in experiment 1,
the upgrade failed at the same place with the same error message.----------------------------------------------------------------
Before the experiment 3, I hoped that 3 experience would succeed so I
could conclude that I had a registry problem. I'm not sure now.
I don't know what to try next. Take the minimum system and reinstalling
my files of the user is not an option that my hard drive has over 200 GB of
programs! If I restore all files and folders of my pre-existing
I would still have backup to restore a system state the reliable (read the registry).
---------------------------------------------------------------------Sorry for the length! If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate your responses.
Thank you

If the upgrade process sticks or does not respond to 99%, it is better to wait and do nothing for 5 to 6 hours. If there is still no progress to close the Wizard Windows 10 upgrade, restart the computer and try to upgrade following the tips detailed below.
You are using an ethernet cable or wireless to connect your computer to the router? Wired ethernet is faster and more reliable for large downloads. An ethernet cable is a low-cost purchase.
