pass a value IR: apex oracle 5.0

I have an IR (based sql) where I can see all the employee data. Now, there's a link Edit (default pencil IR image) when I click it, it will redirect me to a Form(Not a Form) in a table where I want to display data from emp_no based on a page of the IR. Also, if I click on emp_no 1001, then he will show me only data about 1001 on slot form of table. Thank you

Hi Pranav.shah

This is screenshot example. ID column is a column of link. When you click on a link to redirect you to page 16 to page 16 you set p16_asset_id and in your sql where clause you write as "where asset_id =: p16_asset_id.

  • By passing the value in column IR to package Oracle

    All,
    I try to call a package Oracle of APEX and must pass the value of a column of IR in this packaging. I tried saying: ADJ_ID but I don't think his pasing anything for the backend.
    Here are the steps.
    1. the user runs IR
    2. There is a column that I put as "ROLLBACK" on this report for each line that has a LINK that calls URLS like
    JavaScript:apex.confirm (' safe to restore adaptation? "," SEND");
    3. once the user confirms submit, I call the package, package gets called but I want to send a value for that line to the package, I do this by saying: (colon) rating but it does not work.

    Thank you
    Vishal

    You must set you page item (as you try to pass by using the method of colon in PLSQL) first

    You can change your link to

    * JavaScript:apex.confirm ("Sure to restore adaptation?", {request: 'SUBMIT', value: {"P1_ROW_VALUE": 10}}); *

    P1_ROW_VALUE is the Page element that you want to set and 10 here is specific to the LINE value

    If you use the "links" section in the report attributes
    and then, something like that would

    * JavaScript:apex.confirm ('Safe to restore the fit?', {request: "SUBMIT", value: {'P1_ROW_VALUE': ' #COLUMN_ALIAS #'}}); *

    Alias_de_colonne is the name of the column you want to set the element with the value.

  • Passing DB values to the text based on the Select Value box

    Hello

    I'm very big thing back to the Oracle APEX. In my project, I have a requirement in which I need to pass different values for the corresponding text boxes on a different page based on the value I select in the item "Select Value".

    I tried using processes calling for demand, but could not get the desired result.

    Please suggest!

    Can you repeat your scenario on apex.oracle.com? It will be easier to fix it this way.

  • Demo: by passing the value of the point through 'Session invalid URL' does not

    I've created a demo for this problem on apex.oracle.com. All links point to applications created it so you can try it yourself.

    I have two requests:
    -* 47324 * is the application of 'work '.
    -* 47326 * is the sign in application
    I want them separate, because I'm going to add more applications 'work' in the future and I want to have a single login for all applications.

    When a user accesses the demand for work before I do, I want to put a value to the point of application MYPARAM. This value will be needed during the login process and will be different for different users. The URL of the user's request looks like this: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=47324:HOME:MYPARAM:789

    When a user clicks on this link, it is not yet connected and so for the 'invalid URL Session"the scheme of authentication of the application, which is set to" f? " "p =47326: LOGIN: & SESSION.: APP_ID_REDIRECT, INVALID_SESSION_ID,MYPARAM: & APP_ID, & SESSION,& MYPARAM."
    As you can see, I'm moving the value of MYPARAM to the SIGN in application - and that's my problem - the value passed to MYPARAM is always zero (click on the link above and try).

    APP_ID_REDIRECT indicates APEX to redirect this application after successful login. For purposes of testing the "Invalid session ID" is also passed to the sign in application.
    You can see (shown on the login page) as the invalid session ID and the ID of current session are different! I suspect that is the reason why the value of MYPARAM is not passed.

    So my question is: is there a way to convey the value of an element via the 'invalid URL Session?

    I know, there is a solution to this problem by offering users the URL directly to the sign in application (http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=47326:LOGIN:APP_ID_REDIRECT, MYPARAM:47324, 789). I ask this just out of curiosity.

    Swear,

    When the Session is not valid URL is parsed and ' redirect to ' there is no session state containing the item such as values for & MYPARAM. because it has not yet been the opportunity to set session state.

  • Report query and Report Layout (shared component): apex oracle 5.0.0.00.31

    Create a report based on the report query to print pdf based on the FO (working according to need) file and file Fo

    < br >

    what I did: < br >

    I created 2 layouts (different ) and report 2 (query will be even created a second report query for a different layout () query based on a different company

    How it works:

    I created a "print key" on the page where I want to print pdf if the user click on pdf will generate.

    Now I don't want to create several buttons printing is possible where I can change the report layouts changed so user which is part of the same company will have the same layout and users of the other company can have different page layout.

    As:

    User 'Mike, Sam, John, AEC, kiran' company 'Apple' will have the same layout and user of society 'Orange' will have different page layout by clicking on the "print" key.

    Demo on apex.oracle.com

    new_b/new_b/apex

    User1: new_b/apex
    User2:new_b1 / apex

    Application: New (62658)
    Page: Home

    Two queries to report in shared components.

    Not an employee and the other for the name of the employee.

    Report query:
    Report1 and I2 are created depending on the generic report.

    So all preceding should connected and click on the button "print" on the home page and PDF must be different.

    I hope it's good.

    created a function based on wwv_flow_shared_queries the table that will store the Id and the name of the report query.
    Why do I need to create a function! --> Name of the query will be converted into number if you check branch report request = "number of queries"(i bien qu'il le convertit!!!) ". In fact the Tangible will be stored in the Table and the Id of the named query report will be send back and id will be used in the branch. (Confusion between :))
    Now, consisting by using the value
    Select distinct to_char (component_id)
    of apex_developer_activity_log
    where application_id = flow_id
    and component = "report Query.
    and the name of the component = "name of query.
    you get the name of the query and the Id now use in function get name based on the id.

  • Pass the value using javascript:modalpage()

    Hello

    Apex 4.2

    I need to know, is it possible to do the following.

    I have 4 buttons on the page as (Suspend, end, restoration, Add) and whenever you press a button and then MODAL_REGION will appear and I m using this javascript:openModal('Open_Page');

    within the action of the button - URL redirect for all the buttons. I did not create DAs for it as I create four DAs for each button.

    So my question is? I can pass the value in the code above. like javascript:openModal('Open_Page'); $s(P6_ITEM1,'S');

    but above does not work. I can just do a few DAs for him but don't want that for all buttons. Thus, when the press "SUSPEND" button hidden point P6_ITEM1 should take the of ' as a value, if the press which ENDED then take 'E' and so on.

    Please advice?

    Thank you very much.

    RI

    Hi Irha10,

    There is no need to use a DA to pass values to it. In the redirect URL

    javascript:$s('P6_ITEM','S');
    openModal('Open_Page');
    document.forms[0].P6_ITEM.focus();

    Hope this helps

  • How can I pass a value to a variable binding in a report query?

    I did a query of report to print a PDF report, with a dinamyc source query that has a connection variable, like this:

    SELECT EMPNO, EMPNAME, EMPDEPT

    FROM EMP

    WHERE EMPNO =: PARAMETER;

    I want to call the report print directly from a page, by using the url print showed by apex:

    f? p = & APP_ID.:0 : & SESSION. : PRINT_REPORT = MYREPORT

    How can I pass the value of the variable binding: PARAMETER using this URL?

    I don't think you can use the url parameter passes in a report query.

    the binding variable: PARAMETER must be a page element or an element of the application.

    use the "include session information and application" in the defination of report query to bind the value when the report is run

  • Pass the value modal page using static URLS

    Hi guys,.

    I have a simple page with three boxes.

    When one of the check boxes is selected, I want to draw a new page which I use as a modal page (SkillBuilders Modal plug to help).  I need to pass a value of a checkbox (P1_WTD_OPT_OUT) in the new modal page.

    I have the following in the static URL

    f? p = & APP_ID.:2: & APP_SESSION.:2:P2_WTD_ID, P2_WTD_OPT_OUT: & P1_WTD_ID, & P1_WTD_OPT_OUT. :

    where I'm moving the value of P2_WTD_OPT_OUT to P1_WTD_OPT_OUT.

    As I don't submit anything when the check box that calls the modal page is checked, how I would pass the value in the modal page?

    At the moment, if P1_WTD_OPT_OUT is enabled or not, P2_WTD_OPT_OUT is always null when modal page.

    I use apex v4.0

    Any help would be great,

    Thank you

    Here is what goes wrong:

    -page is first rendered, P8_WDT_OPT_OUT is NULL

    -the static url for the modal lov is generated. Given that the item is NULL value in the url for the P9_WDT_OPT_OUT point shall be void in this url

    -l' change event fires. The P8_WDT value is stored in session state

    -the modal opens and navigates to the static url

    End result is that the P9 indeed will be null.

    The solution to this is to not not to set the value of the item through the URL, because it will simply not work. But given that the element of P8 is located in session state, you can use the value of it to the default value of the element on P9.

    On page 8, I changed the dynamic action to not set the value of the element in the URL, and on page 9 I changed the default value of the element.

  • Pass the value to the process of request through javascript

    Hey everybody,

    I am currently struggling with the call to an application process and passing a value to it through javascript. Ideally, my javascript is triggered by a dynamic action, which itself is triggered when a user changes the value of a selection list. Below is the javascript code that is relevant:

    for (k=0; k<active_array.length; k++){
          var request = new htmldb_Get(null, &APP_ID., 'APPLICATION_PROCESS=CAL_COLORS', 0);
          request.add('x01', check_array[j]);
           var ajaxResult = ajax.get();
           alert(ajaxResult);
          active_array[k].parentNode.style.backgroundColor=document.getElementById('P14_TEST_COLOR').value;}

    And she calls the application process is also shown below:

    declare
    v_color varchar2(20);
    begin
    select color into v_color from cal_colors where other_user = apex_application.g_x01 and user_id = :USER_ID;
    :P14_TEST_COLOR := v_color
    end;

    The issue seems to be that online 03 my JavaScript, especially since my array element is not spent properly in my process. In an attempt to debug this, I added the alert message, however, instead of any relevant information, the alert shows just the HTML page! I'm at a loss as to what I'm doing wrong here, so if anyone has any input, I would very much appreciate it.

    Basically, you need to rewrite in the http buffer, using htp.p:

    DECLARE
      v_color VARCHAR2(20);
    BEGIN
      SELECT color
        INTO v_color
        FROM cal_colors
       WHERE other_user = apex_application.g_x01
         AND user_id = :USER_ID;

      htp.p(v_color);
    EXCEPTION WHEN no_data_found THEN
      htp.p('white');
    END;

    You could potentially make it much more efficient also. At the present time you loop on what is probably an array of elements, so from a tabular form probably. Rather than call an ajax for each line, you can group together them and make a call.

    Example:

    JS, you can use this to create an array with values to be placed on the server:

    var lArray = [];
    $("input[name=f03]").each(function(){
    lArray.push($(this).val());
    });

    And you can use the apex.server.process api to call a process on demand:

    apex.server.process("MYPROCESS", {f01: lArray}, {success: function(pData){console.log(pData);}})

    As you can see, the table with the values is put in the table in the f01. You must use the option of success well since it will be asynchronous (htmldb_Get.get is a synchronous call).

    With respect to the CLASS code:

    DECLARE
      l_return VARCHAR2(4000);
    BEGIN
      FOR i IN 1..apex_application.g_f01.count
      LOOP
        l_return := l_return || '"VALUE' || i || '",';
      END LOOP;

      l_return := RTRIM(l_return, ',');
      IF l_return IS NOT NULL THEN
        l_return := '[' || l_return || ']';
      END IF;

      htp.p(l_return);
    END;

    It will loop through the items in the table-f01 and build a new JSON notation and write it back to the http buffer so it returns to the client. It will look like this:

    ["VALUE1", "VALUE2", "VALUE3", "VALUE4", "VALUE5", "VALUE6", "VALUE7", "VALUE8", "VALUE9", "VALUE10"]

    I say this because when users use your application, you do not want such a quantity of calls. A single call by treatment action would save a lot of resources. You may have to loop twice on your items to apply your backgroundcolor, but I don't voluntarily not too mention jQuery since you is perhaps not familiar with it and get scared by him.
