  I use Adobe Acrobat 11.0 Standard on Windows 7, and I have a problem with the menu item that I create.  The menu item calls a dialog box that prompts the user to select a page in the active document.  The problem is, I can't find a way to send the currently active document in the dialog box.  I went through the rest of the documentation, did some research on Google and here in the Adobe forums, but do not have whatever it is turned upward.  The AcroJS API gives the following solution (which is under app/methods/execDialog):

  I did this exact thing, but in the dialog box, the value of this.numPages still comes out as indefinite, indicating that the current document has not yet been adopted.  My own code looks like this:

  where templateDialogue is the name of my own dialog, rather than dialog4.  I'm not sure of what concerns the variable retn that they declare in the documentation, but I have tried with and without this part, and it doesn't seem to make a difference.  Does anyone know how to do this?

  The reference to the document is a property of the dialog box, so that you access the inside like this:

  And if you want to access the number of pages, like this:

  I starts a sequence in parallel of the MainSequence by "use new run." This parallel sequence is constantly in querying CPU performance data for my USE and records 'on the fly' an Excel file while the MainSequence turns the test scenario.

  To get a clear reference of the performance of the CPU DUT to test steps, I need to somehow get the name of the step of the test step currently performed in the MainSequence for saving it and the CPU performance data.

  Is it possible to identify the current stage of the main sequence in the parallel sequence (for example, property)?

  I have switch from C++ to the labview in a short time before. I got a code written in labview 7 someone else and I am trying to change a code in my labview 2012. In the code, there are a lot of nested structures (like sequency battery, case, etc.). Some code contains 30 batteries but not all subsequences contains controls or code. Someone when I pass in a sequence, it seems empty, but some controls or code could be hiding somewhere beyond the current view. Thus, instead of zoom current sequency block, is that any quick way to identify if the block contains another type or not? Thank you.

  It is spelled "sequence".

  Make sure that autogrow is enabled for the sequence stacked so that you don't have the problem of the code hidden beyond the edges.

  Right-click on the stacked sequence and choose replace with flat sequence.  It will extend things, but how you can see all the pictures.

  Block diagram cleanup allows to get rid of more space and clean up the code.

  If you see empty images, you can right-click on the border between frames and select merge the images.  You should also do this if you have separate frames that should not be because there is already a data dependence that determines the sequence of operation.

  Why do you want to implement this procedure? If you want to remove a table just issue the DROP of stand-alone statement. Why write a procedure for this? Also you must understand the difference between REMOVE and DROP in the context of RDBMS. You either use them which is incorrect. DELETION is to remove rows from a table and DROP is to remove the database table.

  These settings are now at the sequence level, not at the project level.  Which means that there is no need for a new project.

  Simply create a new sequence with the appropriate parameters, and then copy and paste your clips of the old sequence in the new.

  I see an "access point" error for a step property path, only when the step is a sequence that is a subsequence call.  When these properties of the stage are access from the sequence of high level (the one that is open when the pass is started), I don't get the error.  These are the same steps, copy / pasted.  The code of step module is actually labview, write values of teststand using the tool 'set the value of property.  The property path that I use is:

  ThisContext.RunState.Sequence.Main ["" "].

  When executing the step of a sous-suite called by the sequence of high level, I can put a breakpoint on the market, made a right click Navigate to the property of the step and copy / paste the above path.  If the property does not exist whether the top-level or a sous-suite.  When breakpointing in labvew on the error, I can browse the above property at the same time I get the error on also.  I see that there is, but still, I get an error.
  I guess my question is, is there a property path that can reference always reliable for the current step, no matter where it is in the hierarchy of the sequence?  I went through and all I can find is the path of the above property.

  Hi Dave,.

  After talking with a co-worker of mine, we came up with a way to get the current context of the sequence in your code module.  Basically, we have the frame of the sequence of when the code module was called initially.  Then, you can use the context of the sequence to get running, allowing you to get the current thread.  Of this, you can get the context of the sequence of this thread and have access to everything you need from there.  We have created an example program that has a sequence that launches a VI that passes just a while loop and displays the current name of the sequence.  Here is a screenshot of the code module:

  Here are the steps to pass the parameter in a URL to another page:

  • Add a custom attribute to the attributes of the current portal (say MyPortal1) page [link Direct: http://127.0.0.1:8888 / webcenter, portal, MyPortal1, attributes ]

  OR

  Sign in to your personalized Portal (say MyPortal1)

  http://127.0.0.1:8888 / webcenter/Portal/MyPortal1

  Click the settings (e.g. Pages & portals Actions)-> manage-> all settings

  It will take you to the page view of all of the current portal (i.e. MyPortal1).

  Then click attributes in the left pane, and you can create/edit/delete the custom attributes for the current portal on the right side.

  • Click Add an attribute and specify the following information:

  Attribute name = myvar

  This is the attribute that we will refer to any page using the EL "MyVar".

  Attribute value = #{param.myvarval}

  "Myvarval" is the name of the query parameter (i.e. suffix query param & myvarval = TestSuccess will be passed as part of the URL later)

  • Now, create a new page "TestPage" and add the element of HTML markup on the page using the composer.

  This problem seems to arise after a BIOS updated completely flashing properly. That leaves the user unable to change the boot device priority in BIOS, causing therefore the machine complaining that there, there is "No Boot Device available"

  From what I can tell, the previous BIOS flashing tool includes switches that later versions are not. -wipeclean - and wipeall are an integral part of this fix works as they completely erasing all the BIOS settings that are not usually deleted when the BIOS is updated. For some reason, Dell has removed these BIOS update tools options later.

  1. start the machine in Windows 10.
