Pass the range to SEE the Report Builder report
I'm more than one gui that a coder so I like working with ReportBuilder if possible. I'm almost done with a parameter-driven report but need help to show the range of dates at the top of each page. A .cfm page has text boxes where the user between the beginning and the end of date range, they want to see and it also has a categories box to the report. It works fine, but I want that the range of dates that the user specified in the top of each page with the title. Thanks for any help.John

I'm trying to build a dashboard that the first page has several links to pages, each page has several report
the question am facing is when I'm creating the link of Action and eyebrows through it, I don't see / my reports does not see the link of action
no idea why?
If you have tried to create Action link to a BIP report via access BI content you will notice you get an error message.
My work around has been to use navigate to a Web Page and then use the URL to the report when I open the report in the browser

Pass the interactive report shaped filters
Hello
I have a set of interactive reports that act as an exploration by the information. At each level, there is a button 'Create', which includes a form for creating an item at the lower level. User does not have the ability to change the filters.
For the highest level, showing that a form is empty is fine. However, we would if at lower levels to values that have been filtered are passed in the form.
A bit like:
Business-> create [employee]
-Divisions [company = company]-> create [new employee - company = company]
-Location [company = company;] Division = Division]-> create [new employee - company = company;] Division = Division]
If it makes no sense at all?

It makes no sense to me. Do you mean that, for example, you select marketing department and then on the page navigated to your query shows people in marketing? Or he assigns the Ministry of people so when you click on 'create' the user didn't specify a marketing department? If so then have an item hidden on the new page, for example: P2_DEP. Send the previous page have a link on the Department column which passes the value at this point. The Insert (to darken) or the select query (for a report) will use this item as a base for their process.

How to access the information in the report of a pass/fail test?

The best approach would be to use direct information from the stage itself. You can get the text of the report of the RunState.Step.Result.Report text
In this way, you go to the step text report directly.
Alternatively, you can store the text of the report to a variable in the parameters of the step.

Its a simple but problem ongoing with the pagefile... The hd is in use & cannot defragment parts of it
because of this, use to defrag times. To fix the files fragmented on any hard drive, open the system
Properties, performance, advance, the page file, change the button, select the hd, press "no paging file" value
Enter 2 X, close, restart the pc. Once in xp, open cmd, type: CLEANMGR then select the hd,
type: Defrag D: D: being fragmented, once through, hd output cmd, return to system properties, set
the swap file for hd to "let the system manage", click 2 x game, close, you get a couple of windows
saying: 'replace the file' say Yes close... Sometimes you have to try several, but you will succeed...

Installed Vcac 5.2 with evaluation license.

I am using Oracle 10 g reports to build a report containing many formulas. Everything worked perfectly until I added a condition in a query in the columns of the formulas. After adding it, report to the report server does not work but runs only in Report Builder. If I deleted this condition, report works OK but I need. This condition is very simple, just filtering is a decoded column (i.e. stts = has ')

What version of application server that you are using your reports?
If you use PDF subsetting (check the [PDF:Subset] section in the file uifont.ali on your server), then you most likely face to Bug: 5029259 this is 10.1.2.0.2 to 10.1.2.2. To solve the problem read more Doc ID 363868.1 in support of the Oracle. In short, your options are:
1 apply a group of hotfixes 10.1.2.3 or perhaps the patch 5029259 is sufficient.
2-make sure that no NULL values are returned in the report. Use nvl when possible. If there was no problem before making the changes then maybe check new columns formulas would be sufficient. I made this change me to this problem and it seems that this is resolved the problem.
3 or change to no. REPORTS_ENHANCED_SUBSET in the registry under windows or $ORACLE_HOME/bin/reports.sh if windows under linux. REPORTS_ENHANCED_SUBSET = YES is necessary if you use TTF which create subsets, however. So maybe it's not an option.
