Passport blackBerry problem: Sim Card not detected after several days, reboot needed.

Hello

As the title suggests, every other day or two my passport tells me that it cannot detect the Sim Card. If I restart the device, the problem is solved but only for another day or two. I've never had any problem with this card before so I suspect it has something to do with the device. Is anyone know about this problem?

Kind regards

Willem

Here's what I'd do. The next time it happens, power down and remove the SIM card. Reinsert the SIM card and make sure it is fully inserted. Then to test and see if the error occurs again anytime soon.

I have not had this happen with my passport yet, but I experienced it here and there in the past. Unless the SIM works actually, the removal and reinstallation of the SIM card corrected the problem. Also, I experienced a failure of the SIM card, and it's all or nothing. Perhaps failure of the SIM card can be intermittent, but I doubt it.

If you get the error again, talk to your operator. They could suggest to try a new SIM card. At least this excludes from the SIM card and tap the device if you get the same problem with a new SIM card.

Alternatively, you can reinstall the operating system as a troubleshooting step. Yes, you shouldn't do this, but it is set on a software problem.

If you want to be as certain as you can know if the device is defective, it is my opinion on what to do. Otherwise, you can go ahead and request a warranty Exchange. I try and avoid that, personally and at least to eliminate other possibilities first.

    Hello!

On the screenshot that you are using a motherboard Intel S3420GP. Just a NETWORK card is 82574L, the other on board is a 82578DM, which is not supported. So you will need additional network cards.

    See you soon,.

  • Carbon X 1 SIM card not detected (Sierra EM7345 WWAN modem)

    Dear all,

I have a X carbon 1 with Sierra EM7345 WWAN modem. It is that everything installed perfectly - drivers etc. But id does not recognize the SIM card. I googled a bit and I can say that:

    (1) I have the drivers OK, I the WWAN etc network adapter.

    (2) I inserted the SIM card

The SIM card works perferctly if I use the key USB 3 G stick instead. So the problem is not the SIM card.

In my view, there are a few configuraiton Sierra modem that should be done - to switch to 3G / 2G or something.

Please help - one of the main reasons to buy this laptop was the integrated WWAN.

Thank you. Here are some screenshots with the config:

Win7 is a better OS in our case for troubleshooting.

Do you see a broadband network connection manager window (VAN UI)? Check the APN settings.

Could you install Lenovo's Access Connections on the laptop?

  • BlackBerry smartphones SIM card not valid

I have a storm 9530 on VZW, latest official OS. A bit ago I got an error SIM card at random, and now I see 'No. valid SIM Card' in the advanced options. I tried to remove/replace, without change. I know that in the United States the card is not actually "used", but I would still like to know why her broke.

    Any ideas?

I read on one of the post here on the screen click does not not in some places.  The "do it yourself difficulty" was to loosen the screws of the "two" #5 located couple at the back under the door (a have a red sticker with a white stripe on her) 1/4 turn or so.» I tried this and in the process he loosened the small metal plate that keeps the SIM CARD in place too. So I had all of a sudden the error SIM CARD also. I tighten the screws of couple next to the SIM CARD, a 1/8 turn and she was reading the SIM CARD again... If your feeling brave, you can try turning the screw JUST a little... 1/8 turn perhaps and see if it locked it some.

If not feeling brave bring it to phone tech and request them also try this... If it works, it's better then to replace the phone and go through reinstalling all your contacts apps. and just plain ol ' hassle of waiting on a new phone. I used a glass with little eye Flathead screwdriver that fit just right if you do not have the driver of torture of good size...

P.S by loosening the screws not fixed my problem by clicking on... I just can I have loosened them too and I went only to 1/4 turn... Decline of the Sim Card facing downwards by a 1/8... fixed .all works fine now

  • OfficeJet 6600 will not respond after several days of not used beirng

After that the printer has not been used for long periods (days, even a few weeks), the wifi light is on, but apart from that the printer doesn't respond to touch screen. The only solution I found is to unplug the printer & it works when it is plugged in. It is not easy, the way in which the printer is sitting on a table to do this. Is there another way to 'better' to wake up?

    Hey, three things to check.

    (1) is the firmware updated?

    (2) IP is static?

    (3) is 6600 directly connected to the wall outlet?

  • Second monitor is not detected after upgrade to Windows 10

After you have installed Windows 10 upgrade Windows 7, my second monitor is no longer functional. The computer is an HP Touch Smart 610-1065qd. I connect on the second monitor through a USB 2.0 Port Replicator 2005pr HP. The Replicator appears as a drive when you look at this PC and an arbitrator in him like HP USB DOCK, as it did in Windows 7. The Replicator seems to work, I can't access the SSD on the device and use a wireless mouse. The receiver is connected to the port replicator. The second monitor, also connected to the Replicator, as it was before the upgrade. Now the system is unable to detect this monitor. The MANAGER of peripheral DEVICES, MONITORS, indicates there is a monitor Active, listed as "PnP monitor" generic Device Manager displays a second monitor as a hidden device. Identified as a "generic PnP monitor' and the State of the device is"currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) ». In Windows 7, I don't remember the second monitor listing. USB and the DISPLAY NETWORK DEVICES, the entry is USB PORTS port REPLICATOR 2.0 HP 2005pr. Under GRAPHICS cards, there are two lists. The first is an adapter named "AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5570". This corresponds to my video card. The second adapter named "glance speed Boost. I believe that Ancestry.com can installed this. "This device is working properly" is the condition for both cards. I manually checked new drivers for all components. There is no effect. Then, I went to HP and downloaded the most recent Setup to monitor. I then tried to load the drivers and monitoring software. I also loaded the screen in compatibility mode, then in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3, then compatibility for Windows 7 and finely mode as a regulator. As a result, I tried the same process with the original disc. After each test, I rebooted the system. Still unable to detect the second monitor, nothing in Device Manager and unable to detect a new monitor on screen. I attempt to change the Projection. He also, had no effect on the display. Then, I deleted graphics cards. First of all, the adapter "AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5570", which corresponds to my video card. Second, the "Speed Boost glance. This also, don't give not any what on second monitor display. Even if it is visible only when show it hidden devices is checked. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I finely found a fix for the problem to my question; Second monitor, not detected after upgrade to Windows 10. Not the one I was hoping. It turns out that the fault was with the HP 2005pr USB 2.0 Port Replicator. It seems that the driver may be at fault. After more than a month of waiting, I decided to replace the duplicator. I decided to buy a Port adapter to replace the duplicator. What is much less expensive experiment and see if it was infecting the duplicator. It turned out that my second monitor is back and healthy. I decided to continue to use the port adapter and buy a USB Hub to replace this part of the duplicator. I no longer use the HD Audio output, after replacing the old speakers with Bose USB speakers some time ago. I thank everyone for help.

  • SIM is not detected...

I brought a flipkart x motorcycle and went up to my normal size SIM minced in a sim of nano. The SIM card is not detected on 3rd day morning. I reinserted the sim card and it was beautiful once again. 4th day, Sim become again detected and even after reinserting the sim card and the phone restarted, he remained unnoticed. Therefore, I used my old phone HTC Explorer with the same SIM card and it worked very well. In the evening, when I inserted the SIM in Moto X, it worked fine again. On the morning of 5th (which is today), returned SIM not detected, it's now evening and always the SIM card is not detected but same sim works fine in my other phone?

Might need to get a new SIM from nano. It's funny how it works in one phone and not the other.

  • I just open WMP after several days, and the files do not load. The message says that the search for media files.

I opened the Windows Media Player after several days of not to use.  Files won't load.  It is said that there is no element in the library.  I'm going to add to the library, and there is nothing there.  I add places to watch, say OK and leave.  When I come back it is empty again.  How can I return my library and playlists?

Sounds like a corrupt media library that can be fixed by resetting it. To reset, follow the instructions for WMP 11 Vista at http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary . Tim Baets

  • VI causes CPU load after several days of running

    Hello

I have a strange problem. I have craeted a control test VI bench and it runs on five computers, five test of control systems. All PCs have almost the same hardware, same card mother, same processor, etc.

Normally the CPU load is around 50% when I run the VI, but to a PC, CPU load goes up to 85% after several days (maybe a week) market continues and the PC is almost tied up - VI execution becomes very slow (10 times slower) and the mouse moves only very slowly.

I have first thought that the PC has a problem, but the problem disappears as soon as I stop and restart the VI!

I don't even have to put an end to LabVIEW - only my VI and then all is well again.

The problem does not occur in the other four PC, but I can't say for sure.

The Task Manager indicates that LabVIEW causes CPU - use swap file load is small.

Is it possible to analyse the causes of high CPU load?

    I use LabVIEW 7.1 Professional

Operating system: Win XP (SP 2 or 3 that I can't remember)

    P.S. I have no loops without waiting-functions.

Assuming that it's a typo problem, is you have run out of memory physics and are returning to the virtual (which is 1000 X) slower than real memory.

  • BlackBerry Z30 sim not detected after security wipe

    Hello

My unlocked Z30 BB does not detect the sim card after security wipe. I did hard and soft reset, but the problem still persists. Today I took it to the service center and the guy told me that the sim connector pin is defective. How could he say that without inspection? To my surprise, he also informed that I need to replace the motherboard. Can someone please give an overview on:

++ If these questions have been seen on Z30 (I've seen for Z10) where security wipe cause the SIM to go unnoticed?

++ If security wipe and connector are correlated?

++ The worst case if the sim card connector is broken, fill out the motherboard needs to be replaced? (I know its 80% of the cost)

++ Is there anyway I can defend higher up in the service center

    Troubleshooting:

    > same sim works in any other mobile phone

    > no sim card works in Z30

    > The used micro sim card is the standard sim and not cut manually.

    > Reset multiple hard / soft / volume up and down reset button did the test (equivalent to removing the battery).

I am based in India, in Bangalore, and the unit is under warranty (only 4 months). Name of the service center is Redington India, Cunningham road, bangalore.

Any pointer is appreciated. Thanks for your help!

    Kind regards

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM w / WiFi works only after changing SIM card not

    Hello

I need help (otherwise I would not write here). I have the Bold 9930. Until I left the States, my phone was working perfectly fine... I had an email, BBM, whatsapp, text, etc...

When I arrived in Haiti, I wanted to change my SIM card, then I would be able to use / have a number of Haitian. I don't have an international plan. When the guy put my the Haitian SIM, the phone asked my BlackBerry ID and password. I typed all the two, which were both correct, but he told me that it was a wrong password. The guy told me that the only way I'd be able to 'reset' from my BlackBerry ID would be to disconnect and to do this, it would eliminate all my pictures and everything. I didn't do that so I ended up buying a Haitian phone w / a Haitian SIM card.

At this point, I have two phones. An American with a SIM American (BlackBerry) and a Haitian phone with a SIM card that is Haitian.

When I got home, I turned on my American phone and its WiFi, but my BBM and emails were NOT WORKING! However, my Facebook application and the browser are both works perfectly well.

I restarted my phone several times since yesterday and nothing has changed. I checked this morning to see if it worked, but not luck.

So my question (s) / issue (s) is now:

    1. How can I get my BBM works again? (probably the most important)

    2. How can I get my email working again?

    3. is it possible possible for me to have my BlackBerry (US phone) work with my Haitian SIM card?

    Please, please, please, help.

Unfortunately, the device works as expected. Facebook, the wifi browser work fine on wifi but BBM and email REQUIRE a valid BlackBerry data Plan.

The only way to make it work is to have a BlackBerry data Plan on the Haitian Sim Card.
