  Using a PC browser, go to www.bbid.com and see if you can reset your password.

  When you set up your BBID it would be you sent an email asking you to verify your BBID by clicking on a link in this email. If you checked you can reset your password to www.bbid.com without a security answer.

  If you do not check the BBID then you need TO answer your security question. If you can't answer, then, if you still have the original e-mail, you can use it to remove the BBID and re-create it. You will lose all data associated with it like BBM contacts, however.

  If you do not have the original email, you will need to create a new BBID with a new email address.

  This happened to me today.  Head to https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/login/ from a computer, click on forgotten password and follow the directions.

  Not having access to the email account, you cannot change your password.  You will need to create a new account BBID.

  In addition, I notice that you have your phone number listed in your profile. It is not advisable to display your phone number there for all the Internet to see and possibly harvest for use of spam. Top of the page click on my settings and access personal information and delete your phone number.

  If you still have your original registration email, you can click on the link it contains to reset the password.

  If you do not have this e-mail or do not remember your security question then there is no way to recover your password and you will need to create a new ID of BB. This will result in purchases under your previous BB ID will be lost and will need to be redeemed.

  What section of the article applies to you will be determined if yes or no BlackBerry ID e-mail address has been confirmed. Since this isn't my BBID I'm not able to identify the section appropriate to you. If you are not sure, try them all.

  I lost my Z10 due to water damage and got a Samsung s5. Setting up my BBM is a nightmare, as the issue of recovery does not work. I got the answer to the security question in almost every possible way, and yet it keeps saying that the answer is incorrect. I know 100% that the answer is correct. I don't want to lose all my contacts, how to fix this?

  @jpmeek would not change your password without your consent the so the only thing I can think of you may have used a different password, or made a mistake when you initially set up your answer to recover. Unless you can understand the only option is to recreate your BlackBErry ID. For advice on how to do this review please the following KB. Thank you!

  I am fairly new here and on blackberry phones. I use bbm on my Nexus4 for a while now and bought a Blackberry Torch used to use with BBM 9810. My problem is that whenever I set up BBM it is stuck on "setting up BBM. I looked on the internet and tried everything I could to restore to the factory settings, update to the latest BBM, password changing to include letters, letters below, numbers and symbols, but nothing seems to work.

  A plan of BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) - is a dedicaed to plan special data for legacy devices BlackBerry (Running OS 7 and earlier versions). You must have a BIS plan to be able to communicate and have access to the BlackBerry Services as Emial, BBM, BlackBerry Protect messaging Apps etc.

  Regular data plan or WiFi does not work. I suggest that you contact your network provider, they can help you with this question.

  I use 2 phones and I am ready to create a new blackberry on the 2nd ID, but it requires an email address and I don't have that one email address that I use for everything. I want to know if it is possible to create a new BBID with the same e-mail address but different password. The main thing is I want both phones to be active and fully functional, but I don't have a single address email and I prefer not to create another email address, because I love all of my emails in one place rather then having 2 email addresses. I don't want any phone be disabled. I do not fear one of the BBM is turned off, as long as at least one works. Both phones are a Blackberry Curve 9320 and a Blackberry z10, which is one waiting to be activated.

  No this is not possible. The BBID, you use is associated with the device, you are using, the e-mail address is the user and cannot be associated with two BlackBerry smartphones to consider it time of the password.

  I suggest that you create a new e-mail address for the sole purpose of using it as a BlackBerry ID.

  If you re-create your BlackBerry ID, you will need to remove and reinstall BBM to connect to the new BBID, which will result in a new PIN code is assigned to your BBM account. Thank you!
