  It seems to be a problem with the hardware. I suggest you try to uninstall and reinstall the CD/DVD driver and check if it helps.

  Follow the steps to uninstall and re-install the drivers.

  a. click on start toreduce this includes this im and then click Control Panel.

  b. click system and Maintenance, click Systemand then click on Device Manager.
  Note If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.

  Reduce this includes this imageIf you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

  c. in the Manager device, expand CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, right click on CD and DVD devices and then click Uninstall.

  d. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.

  e. restart the computer.

  If the methods mentioned above did not help, then it would be best to contact the manufacturer of the computer/CD/DVD player.

  Dear all,

  I just bought five new HP Elite 7300 desktop computer for our office. They come with Windows 7 Professional x 64.

  My problem is that the audio on each of them does not work. I hear no sound coming out of the computer.

  Audio is ok if I use headphones or external speakers.

  I tried to update the driver, downgrade the driver, use the audio trubleshoot of windows, but nothing works.

  Any idea to help me?

  You hear the "beep" and "beep"? If so then that all, no other sound. Not based on the following information, they have no speakers, only so if you want to sound (to listen to the music...) you have to plug in external speakers.

  I think that almost all Affairs tower PC (including other providers) don't have built-in speakers.

  I have a desktop HP ENVY 700-030qe with Windows 8. While looking through the updates of software available for my system, I have seen two listed in the BIOS:

  (1) HP Compaq consumer Desktop PC BIOS for ROM family SSID 2AF3 dated October 2014.

  (2) HP Desktop BIOS update system for PC HP ENVY 700/800/810 with 2AF3 family ROM dated May 2014.

  1. How will I know what family of ROM BIOS I have? I have pictures of all the screens of BIOS that I could get and nothing mentioned family BIOS ROM. I still have the BIOS original version KAI 80.07.

  2. the two updates apply to my computer? The wording is confusing. It seems that only the second apply to my system unless one applies to a more general category of the office. If both apply, as the first is the most recent, which would be the one to use?

  3. There is an issued for the BIOS in June security update that I ran across here. Which does not appear in the update list. Why would that not replace the other? Can I assume that the October update would include this security update?

  Corsair TX650 is fine being the 3.3V Rail Max 150W /5v

  Corsair HX650 isn't very good because 3.3v / 5v rail Max 100W

  Corsair AX760 isn't very good because 3.3v / 5v Rail max is 125W

  3 AMPS 5VSB is Minimum.  Reference Dell card 4.0

  150W on the 3.3v / 5v Rails Minimum.

  If you use 648W on the 12v rails which leaves 2 WATTS for EVERYTHING else.

  The other reason, is recommended that the CS750M is physical dimensions.

  The CORSAIR CX is NOT recommended because the 3.3v / 5v combined in this series is 130W or LESS.

  You can always have more power on a rail, but not LESS THAN bare.

  I have a HP Envy 700-030 office which is less than a year. I currently have Windows installed on 8.0. I get two entries 'Important' from Windows Update referring to updates of pilot for the two devices, Ralink: card Ralink Bluetooth 4.0 and the adapter Wi - Fi Ralink RT3290 802.11 b/g/n. I don't have no idea which version of these drivers Windows wants to install (they don't give you any information) and I am hesitant to install drivers through Windows updates due to a number of issues I've seen with the update of drivers with this process in the past. Also I find not only updates from HP driver support for my system. Anyone know where I can find the right drivers for these devices that would allow me to update to Windows 8.1. Thanks, JohnD

  You don't need to update current drivers to win 8 If your PC works OK and you have no error in Device Manager.

  Here is the HP of your PC software and the drivers are supported on the site. HP does not update Win 8 drivers for Ralink. The drivers are available.

  You are wise do not update these devices by using Windows Update.

  Here is a link for the drivers and Win 8.1 software for your PC. You will need, at least, some of these drivers after installing Win 8.1.

  Download drivers Win 8.1 and store on an external drive to use, as appropriate, after update to 8.1 Win.
