• PSC 1600 all-in-one does not print because of false paper jam

  The printer will print not a WORD doc due to a false paper jam.  It will print a scanned doc that proves that there is no paper jam. The document remains in Quebec, and when I click on the printer icon, and open the folder it says "paper jam".   How can I get the printer to recognize that there is no paper jam?  Operating system is VISTA.

  Try to uninstall and reinstall your software. Before you do, try to restart your computer and try again to print.

  The basic function of copying and pasting in Firefox seems to have changed on me and I need to the way it was.

  What is the best way to handle this.

  I have a video with a long song, that I've mixed using Audio Mixer in Adobe Premiere.

  The musician made a new version of the track with some very minor changes in the music.

  Rather I would have preferred to have to remix the brand new track, either:

  (1) copy and paste the attributes of the original audio track on the new music track - keeping mixture I made of the original mixture.  Is this possible?  I tried once and it doesn't seem to work.  (I used the mixer, not the keyframes, make the mixture.)

  or

  (2) is there a layout mixer Audio of first of the new track with the old - the new track of cloning of mixture of the old track of "gang".

  Or would it be better to introduce the two audio tracks into Soundbooth and he do?

  Can you be more specific about what it is that you want to keep? Is it follow the effects applied to the mixer? If so, those can be copied and pasted - it is a tedious process of reconstruction. Don't copy and paste track keyframes is (clip keyframes do).

  However here's a potential solution: simply replace the original audio clip by the new. I would suggest to duplicate your sequence first, and then drag the new audio clip to the sequence, place the clip on the original audio clip, hold down the Alt key and release the mouse button. This will be a replacement, maintain the original mixture. You can also use the Alt + Shift keys to make a replacement frame match, which would be a good thing if you have changed the duration of the source clip in the sequence. In both cases, you do not have to do much to tweak the mixture; This assumes, of course, that music is the same duration, etc.

  I have a HP PSC 1600 all in one. Operating system is Mac OS x 10.6.8. (laptop)

  I get a message that says that the printer has "no mech mode" & failure of Communication: the computer is therefore more able to communicate with your printer. "Turn off the printer, check your printer connections and look for errors in the printer and turn on the printer.  Also says: "the printer offline. A break. "Can't seem to reset this mode in the printer preference box. I know the printer is old, but it has been working great until now.

  He scans the computer and sends an e-mail message. I unplugged several times & reset the default value of the button "setup" printers.

  Ink cartridges carriage does not move when I plug the printer in and printer. Generally the transport when I turn on the printer, sounds like it moves back & fourth. But not now. Did not have any 'new' things installed.

• Copy and paste large event

  Hello everyone

  I'm working on a big VI and difficulties to run on different screen resolutions. Too many controls, indicators, charts, etc. If I let Labview resize objects and sizes of fonts all gets messy. Because of this, I decided to create several files of VI, one for each screen resolution. Then the first VI to run detects the actual resolution of the screen and load the right VI of this form.

  Everything works like a charm, but when I need to update something in my code (put a new sub - VI to run, create a new case of event within the structure of the event, etc.), I have to do the SAME procedure several times to update all the screws with different screen resolutions.

  After long reflection I came to the solution to remove all Boolean values or flags the while loop, set the buttons like "Switch releasing" and restore the previous state of the button programmatically. Given that I have never (or almost never) update something on the front, I can make all the necessary changes in a single resolution VI and after finishing all I can just copy the while loop and paste in all screen resolution files. After that I just have to connect a wire (for groups of references) and I'm good to go. All screen resolutions files work identically.

  The problem: when I copy while loop and paste it into a new VI, all the events of structures of event (to handle the case) are not preserved. Then, I need to change the events that will handle each case in the structure of the event and repeat the same procedure for all screen resolutions files. Since is impossible to Labview allow to adjust items and size of fonts and distribution, I have to continue to use multiple files.

  If I solve the problem with events that are not preserved when I copy and paste the while loop, everything will be fine.

  My code is really very important, with several SubVIs and all that, but the attached files will show you the main idea of the problem I have. Open resolution 1(vi), copy all looped and paste it in resolution 2.vi. The main idea was just to connect a wire and I'd be ready to go, but events are not kept in the structure of the event.

  Problem: Users needed to be able to copy the values in a column in a spreadsheet, paste them into a text box and search for these values without having to format the data.

  For my tabular presentation in my application, I currently have a search box (Type of List Manager) that users can enter multiple values for a column and the search for them. However, they sure have to be added to the search box 1 by 1, by clicking "add" every time. OR they may stick several values at a given time, but must cross and insert a comma between each value.

  Users want to be able to simply copy the values of our spreadsheet and paste instead of insterting them one by one.

  Y at - it a way to allow users to paste the information into a text box and when "search" is clicked, it looks for line-by-line? (as shown below)

  I think something in the sense of a text box to stick in, but I'm not sure of the code to search line by line without going through the user insert commas after each of them, or the code to establish links with the search button / tabular report.

  Details of implementation

  The SQL statement you posted is the one you use for the report.

  However, you need to make a few minor changes to it.

  • Change the bind variables to match the name of your text box item (for example: txt-->: P14_SEARCH_INPUT)
  • a slight modification in the ' select * data "to delete the"carriage return"character of the entry.  (that is, replace (token, Chr (13), "))
  • added a ' OR: P14_SEARCH_INPUT IS NULL "to the WHERE clause - this causes the WHERE clause as the equivalent of ' WHERE 1 = 1" when the text box is empty.
  • (oh... almost forgot) I added an upper() function to search "case insensitive".  If you're dealing with numbers, you to_number() function.

  The actual SQL statement, that I used for the report in the demo application is:

• Cannot paste develop settings to multiple images in Lightroom 3

  I have just started using Lightroom 3 and am only able to paste develop settings to a single image.  If I select several images it sticks only setting the active image, not all selected images. I never had this problem with Lightroom 2.  Everyone knows about this problem?

  When you have multiple images selected to develop, the back button becomes Sync. CTRL-click and it becomes Auto Sync. Now you can paste to multiple images.

  In fact, I think a better way to copy parameters between the image to develop is to use synchronization instead of copy/paste, because synchronization is a one step process and copy/paste is a two-step. Go to the image you want to copy to and select all the images you want to copy. Click on synchronize.

• Copy/paste problems with Flash Player 10?

  Are there know issues (in different versions of Flash player 10 for Macintosh) where to paste the text in text fields? I am paste text of documents in standard text and web pages... when I paste in normal text in one of my Flex apps, Flash Player 10 seems to strip all the line endings. Here is a description of the steps to reproduce:

  • copy text from a text editor
    
  • paste it into a text field in Flex
    
  • Copy the just pasted content (that is, select the text in the text field Flex, then copy)
    
  • paste into a text editor
    

  Result: the text pasted in my text editor has more no carriage returns.

  I also see that the field .text property contains only a single line of text loooong... Curiously however, it displays as multiple lines, no matter how wide I make the field.

  The issue seems to be specific to Flash Player 10 Macintosh. There is no problem of copy/paste with my Flex in Flash Player 10 Windows application; There is no problem on Mac or Windows on Flash Player 9.

  I wonder if it is a bug in Flash Player 10 Mac, or if there is some new text field property that must be configured to allow the Macintosh copy/paste. He knows installation problems that could cause this behavior?

  I have Flash Player (debug) installed 10.0.12.36. PowerPC / Mac OS 10.4.11

  I've been infected with Vorstran (or Vorstan?) several months ago. I would like to reload Firefox now that I have everything straightened out on my computer, but in the past when I had to reload Firefox, all my old bookmarks, is back. (They must be registered to load for me next time I keep to recharge?) Not wanting to put Vorstran on a reload, I was hesitant to try to reload when it arrives, it infects all browsers, crushes my backups and usually locks in the system, I can get a completely clean version of Firefox to load to start over completely? I don't want to bring something to the front of the past at all. No book mark, bookmarks, folders, nothing. Do somehow so I can finally again use my favorite browser? My old email which is now closed, has been "[email protected]. I had to change to the current "[email protected]". How to get a completely clean version of firefox? Thank you

  The reason for your problem is that iMovie version 9 is not compatible with El Capitan.  El Capitan only works with iMovie 10 (with the purple icon).

  iMovie 10 is very different from previous versions and has lost some features but won others.  The negative publicity is mainly about frustration with the changes to the user interface, help the poorest to burn DVDs, corrected aspect ratio 16:9 and the fall of some older cameras support.  Your camera model is shown as it is supported.  (I preferred iMovie 10 and went in 2013).

  When you run the first iMovie 10 it will offer you to update all of your iMovie projects 9 existing.  It will create a new iMovie 10 library but let your iMovie 9 project files and unchanged events so that they could, for example, be copied to a mac running Yosemite and be used in iMovie 9.
