Past subforms, and Page breaks

Good so I helped me on my previous question, but as a result, I created a new problem to the suite to solve my problem.

I have a two page form with the second page shaped void flowed.

On page 2, I have a shape positioned under and then a void form flowed and then another placed in form.  It is saved in dynamic PDF and the subform flowed is configured to allow page breaks in the content.  However as I type information in the subform flowed the block grows down as it should.  The problem is that it does not have surplus or the subform positioned below data on another page.  Information keeps going and disappears at the bottom of the page.  I am also unable to access the paging tab in the subform flowed.

Thoughts?

They must be encapsulated in a subform was flowing so that the low positioned subform will move.

  • Print reports in landscape format and page breaks

    Hello

How can I change the print settings so that a report in response to the request is printed in landscape format directely.

The only way I know is to use a code java and html in a narrative mode. The problem is, it changes the style of the report, but before you print, you will need to change printersettings in landscape mode.

And another question: is it possible to set breaks page for printing. If I set the page breaks on the properties of the table is the fine for the display but for printing, I have to view each page and print it. With a narrative view, it is not even possible to page breaks.

The only way I found to make the two page breaks and landscape, formatted for printing is the download to an excel file.

Is that a way to apply printing directely in page breaks and the landscape without using a download?

    See you soon,.

    Myriam,

If you are looking for print command. which is available in the answers - Layout Compound. Compound layout, below ├a composed of layout (view) falling down, you will see the toolbar, the first with the hand icon is "Print and PDF Control."

If you click on the one that open a small pop, where you can set the print settings.

If I got second question correctly you can set this with PivotTables. Not sure of the answer, try to use sections in PivotTables. In the properties of the section, there is an option to "Insert Page break." Just try once.

  • Subform flowed not to break properly at a page break

An example to illustrate my problem is attached.

    The problem:

I have a positioned subform, allowed page breaks.

On the right this (main) subform contains an object of expandable text entry (notes), allowed page breaks.

On the left, it contains a fluid subform, allowed page breaks. This subform contains a subform (step) with an expandable text entry object, allowed page breaks. The user can create copies of the step subform.

If the user types text in the field notes to force a page break, things work fine. Part of the text can be found on one page, and the rest is on the next page, in the horizontal position (under the text of the previous page).

However, if the user creates enough copies of the step subform to force a page break, or fills one of the fields not enough to force a page break, all THE steps and the field notes right are sent to the top of the next page.

How can I force a break to properly distribute the content of the left and right of the main subform portions? In other words, to let the steps on each page and the corresponding part text notes on each page?

Unfortunately if you break through a page you can't go back and change the layout of a page. If the columns are not independently acting according to your needs for (they are in the subform parent even).

  • For the expansion of the subforms page breaks

    Hello

I have a new form of training Rquest I design. I have a little trouble though, as I was hoping I'd be able to get parts in expansion of my form to move to the next page. I created the form to be dynamic, so that you can click on a button that uses the management authority to create an another subform. So, you'll have something like: "Add teacher" which adds a new line where you can enter information about the teacher.

I also configured so that pressing a button, a new section will appear to enter more information. The problem comes when I try and create a new one of them and it goes off the page. He SHOULD go to the next page, but I can't understand why it isn't. I checked all options and as far as I can see, all that allows page breaks, the subforms seem to work and really at this point I just need someone else to take a look.

I could do the shape so that it is a new visible page I already did but I rather it the correct way rather than the lazy way of just copy - paste.

If anyone is interested to help me, let me know and I will send you the form you since I guess you can't add files here and the section I need to look at is several hundred lines of XML, so it is no good either. (using LC version 8.2, incidentally)

On an unrelated note, I noticed I'm getting lines repeated in my forms in the XML file. This issue has actually caused some of my forms to be so inflated that I can to open the XML tab because LC crashes. I realize that it is a problem with version 8.2 they were set for 9 but I don't have version 9 and I'm not going to buy it just for this problem. So if someone knows what can cause exactly this cette copie copy XML lines, let me know if I can try to avoid this.

The lines I copied most often look like this:

    <? templateDesigner styleId aped3? >

They still model files. I think it might be in some way related to copy - paste of my tests? Anyway, any help would be appreciated on a problem. Thank you all!

The problem you describe is a bug in the product and is caused by the copy and paste content. This was solved by upgrading to a new version of the designer. you would simply open the file in the designer and the file would be automatically cleaned. So if you want to stay on this version you will have no choice but to live with the problem of repeated lines.

The new number is because you have set the field as a TextField, so it's the addition of channel 1 with ahatever else you do cross... like you pointed out... making digital allows you to add math instead of adding the string.

  • Page subform must be sunk for the content on the page other subform extend over a page break?

I have content problems span page breaks.  For example, I ran a positioned subform encapsulated in a subform.  I tried different combinations of the parameters "Allow page in the content breaks" for subforms.  However, I can't get content in subforms extend across a page break, if I set the page itself to slur subform.  I prefer not to do, because it requires substantially more work on the page of design.  It is essential that the page itself subform the value passed for the content span a page break?  If there is a resource that deal with this specific subject please report it me.  Thank you.

If an object should allow page breaks then all parents direkt Hat also for this purpose.

For example: If the nested subform 'subform1_2_1' should allow pauses while her parents must be passed and allow page breaks too.

  • The page breaks in subforms / Fragments with action buttons

    Hello

I created a repeatable Fragment called IssueSet in a subform and added two buttons; one to "ADD a PROBLEM" and the other to 'REMOVE a PROBLEM'.  I am able to add a question without problem, but when I'm at the bottom of the page and you want to add an another IssueSet, I click Add a question and he joins the previous Fragment and runs on the footer but don't break to the next page and shows not entirely on the existing page how to break the Fragment so that it starts on the next page?  I tried everything in the 'PAGING' tab to control how the Fragment runs.  Does anyone have a solution to this?

Where to start your content area? This is where all content added to a new page will start. Check the master page that you use and make sure that the header is not covered by the content area.

  • break a subform that contains vertical lines between pages / break the vertical lines between pages

    Hello

I have a table whose fields can develop. There is an another subform on the side that contains two vertical lines with the height increases if the height of the table increases. The table and the subform are in a provision passed. The challenge is that the subform with the lines does not break between pages. The subform is enabled to allow page breaks, but still it does not break. How to get there?

I solved by creating the columns on the side and leave the table and breaking lines between pages. The cell border will serve as lines.

  • "Allow Page breaks in the content" is grayed out on the subform. Any parent not there subform.

    Hello

I try to get the text, which was placed near the end of a page, to break to a new page, but I can't get this to work.

I have a subform, called FOOTER_TEXTS, and containing 3 text fields, just below and outside the content area of 'HAND' and just above a fixed (static) subform called COMPANY_FOOTER.

The JavaScript code you see is just there to make sure FOOTER_TEXTS is printed only on the last page.

I have all 3 text fields in FOOTER_TEXTS the value "Allow multiple lines" and the height is set to "Expand to fit" but the ability to "Allow Page breaks in the content" is gray in the subform and all 3 text fields, with result the text in the COMPANY_FOOTER subform are overwritten.

What I would like is the 3 fields of FOOTER_TEXTS text to be printed on the bottom of the last page, just above the COMPANY_FOOTER subform, and I want the text to break to a different page, if necessary.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this to work?

    Thank you in advance.

  • 5.24.13 - copy and paste a web page by right-clicking in Word

I am running Vista. All sudden several months ago when copying and pasting a web page by right-clicking in Word, all glued were HTML code instead of the desired content like images, text, pictures, layout, etc.  Maybe I inadvertingly changed a setting but am not sure.  Can you help me? Thanks for any idea or suggestion.

    Hello

As I tried today with MS office 2013 word it works well. You mean it's looking like

    First name:

You want to say what version of MS office that you are using?
The browser you are trying to copy HTML pages?

    I suggest you do

    • Open a web browser such as Windows Internet Explorer by clicking on the button 'Start' at the bottom left and double-click on "Internet Explorer" in the list of programs.
    • View the Web page that you want to copy, then click on the tab 'Edit' at the top of Internet Explorer
    • Click "Select all" to highlight all the content of the Web page, then click on the right button of the mouse and select 'Copy' in the menu dropdown. This copy of the entire Web page in a temporary memory Clipboard.
    • Open a blank Word document by clicking on the "Start" button, choose "All programs", click on "Microsoft Office" and clicking on "Microsoft Word."
    • Click on the tab 'Edit' at the top of the screen of Word, and then choose "paste special."
    • Select which option paste best suited to your needs. For example, the option "Format HTML" will paste the page copied with all hyperlinks, images, and text formatting intact. "Formatted text" option will stick to the text of a Web page without any of the original, separators of section columns or other formats.

Click 'OK' to copy the Web page in the Word template.

Hope this helps, if same problem restore your system to an earlier time

  • Application of paragraph style problem and adding page breaks

I work on the formatting of a novel in InDesign.   I met two problems.   The first of them is to apply a paragraph style to a specific paragraph.  Every time I try the paragraph in question shows a '+' after the style in question and will not apply the style.   I know that the sign '+' means that the style changes were made but I want to apply the style as it was before those changes were made and InDesign doesn't let me.

The second problem concerns export ePub.   I inserted page breaks in some places inside the InDesign file, but when I export to ePub, the export process ignores the page breaks.  I know that I deal with text content may be but I don't want my scene headers (chapter) appears at the bottom of a page in the ePub.

    Thank you

Command-click to erase the wrinkles too.

Re page breaks, in the paragraph style for the scene (chapter) headings, try to tick in the paragraph Options of Style, tab Panel Options export, Split Document (ePub only).

I can't remember, but you will need to check the document page can be Split in the EPUB - export of content Options. (see below).

(Is there a forum for InDesign ePub).

  • When you export to epub, only about 1/3 of my chapters receive page breaks. Each chapter is in its own doc, and I tried to split apart by doc. and H1, without success. Help

All my styles to paragraphs seem to jive, and no matter what I do, most of my chapters seem to miss their page breaks. I've heard of others having this issue with earlier versions of Indesign, but I'm on CC2014, and I thought that should be fixed now. I really won't need to learn HTML code and go break the doc epub to fix it manually, because it still doesn't work across all devices either.  I know others have this problem before racing. What I am doing wrong?

Make sure that the paragraph style applied to the chapter title (if it is the first line of each chapter) is the tag. Open the paragraph style and go to the export of marking and Split Document (epub only). Then, when you export (assuming you are using recomposable) under general > check Split Document based on paragraph Style tags export. Try it and tell us if it helps.

  • Using Page breaks and change the model

I'm working on a book.  The book is in a Word format.  I'm taking the text and the porter in InDesign with page after page being connected. There are 73 pages in total of pure copy once worn on in.  Now I go and put the media in the text.  I have two basic model master drawings that I use according to the content referred to this in the text.  Example is that Master model has a white background, master model B, which has a black background.

Given that the book is alternating between the models based on the content on the page pages could look like this:

    Page 1: Model has

    Page 2: Model has

    Page 3: Model B

    Page 4: Model has

and so on.  I have a question about the page breaking.  I want to always keep the content on page 3 on a main B template background.

However, if I add more content to A, or if I use a page break, the content on all subsequent pages is pushed down (all pages are linked).  So if I jump from Page 1 page, my page B content is pushed on a background model.  It is obviously not what I wanted.  Should there be another function outside of page break should I use to put the separaters?  How can I ensure my content on page 3 remains on a background of the B model?

Currently, your text is threaded into a continuous narrative. When you add the new text in the Middle, everything after this point will move. To avoid that you should break the text into separate stories for CCE content type.

It is essentially the same as dividing the chapters of a book, so that each of them begins on the right master page, which is didcussed at some length here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3993405#3993405

  • RH8 to Word - odd page breaks and headers non-amine

    RH8 and Word 2007 generation 2000 WinHelp.

Normal page breaks are width full page.

When I insert one in manually, it shows that only 2 inches wide.

A tiopic with this short break does not appear as a header non-rouleau and don't get not includes in the sequence to browse

    The ideas people?

Funny you should ask that I tried to understand this too!

It is a matter of Word 2007 - I guess you use Office 2007? I use RH7, but I think that my solution will work for you, because it is the word, not HR.

In any case, assuming that my assumption of Word 2007 is spot - on, you must change word options.

    1. Go to the Office button, select Word Options.
    2. Select Advanced.
    3. Scroll to the bottom of the window and find the compatibility options (at the bottom of the window).
    4. Expand layout options.
    5. Check "don't split a page break apart and brand of paragraph. (You can apply this to the doc open current you see or all docs - if all of the documents, you would probably change the global template, normal, what we can't do.)
    6. Click OK.

Note that if you're going to recheck the setting, the format is now listed as "custom".

Specifically, what is happening is that the page break was taking on a 'normal' style with 0pts before and after. This caused for me a big gap between the top of the Help window and my heading 1 style. (I have my style Heading 1 before 6 pt and 2pt after the value and the font is 12pt.) Modification of the above the page break to take on the Heading 1 style and then broadens also through the window of the project rather than a few inches. Exception that affect how Heading 1 can appear in the compiled help system, I see no problem with the help of the jump to page with the normal style applied, however, it is a little disconcerting. I noticed this particularly in the outline as I sort the pages in my doc in alphabetical order based on Heading 1 so I can find the information easily by customer name. When I used the 'normal' or should I say a "abnormal" style page break, these page breaks have been excluded in this way and I had no page break! (At least there still a cancellation option!)

I don't know, but you may need to change the template robohelp.dot to keep this standing for your robohelp for word help systems.

In addition, your heading style has probably not the paragraph format involved to "keep with next", so change the style, and who should add the parchment — not to the header.

A last little Board, have the 'Developer' showing in the Ribbon tab. This allows you to access the model and see the styles in your doc. I would uncheck the option 'automatically update' so that when you reopen the doc, he loses any doc made you specific lifestyle changes.
