• Flowed subforms do not flowing

  I have recently upgraded to LC ES4 and decided to take a crack at creating a form to import an MS Word document.

  After some heavy editing, I started testing and have subforms running into one another.

  Here are the details:

  2 Master Pages, 1 specifically for a page of instructions.

  All subforms high-level Flow value, allow the case in verified Page content

  All Tables that are set to allow breaks it in content verified Page. Even the lines are defined with allow breaks in content Page audited

  All text defined growing areas to allow several lines and expand was checked

  Document has been saved in dynamic PDF

  The problem seems to lie in the tables, even if lines are expanding, they run in the subform beneath them.

  Am I missing something simple on the flow and the tables, or is there something I should have done when setting this up?

  Ya that's a good thing. It turns out that your tables have height and width properties when they should not. You don't see it in the pallets of designer. You must edit the XML directly.

  To fix:

  1) click on your table

  (2) Goto you XML Source tab (view > Source XML)

  (3) you will see something like this has highlighted:

  
  (4) remove the 'h' and 'w' attributes (w = h "543pt" = "33.2pt"). You only have to remove the h because it work, but the w should not be here either.

  Another method:

  1) click on your table

  (2) Goto table > convert to Suborm

  (3) Goto table > convert table

  Not sure how those attributes got there. Maybe they left as subforms somewhere along the line.

• positioned subfield wrapped in the subfield flowed not page break

  I have a text field in a positioned subform. This subform is in a subform flowed. I want to break to the next page, but it flows just above the bottom of the page without adding a new page and will even over my footer for master page items.

  all the elements are configured to allow page breaks. text box is set to allow multiple lines and able to y.

  It works when I get rid of the positioned subform, but I want this subform, so I can have other elements side by side with the text field and preserve the layout.

  The subform without the post title and the box are in must be defined on autofit in their direction on the Layout tab. You set the field to automatic adjustment, but not the subform that it occupies (the positioned subform).

• subforms/paging/conditional fluid breaks

  I have created a dynamic PDF form with subforms fluid.  My problem is breaks of pagination and /(or?).  Questions and answers (fluid text fields) only need more than a page. Problem: If meet conduct of text on page 2 fields, the fields seem to run on the bottom rather than breaking margin. I have everything set to "allow content page breaks.  I have not found the answer on how to paginate page 1 properly so that it breaks and is not overflowing.  Or, if this issue requires a conditional jump, found no clear guidance on the definition of the conditional jumps.

  Then, if I can get this working, I have the outstanding issues and respond to text on page 2 fields.  I guess that simply format a subform exactly like I did the subform on page 1?

  Hi Milly Mac,.

  You had a number of questions. Part of the problem was the configuration of your Master Page. I set the 'content' area, the Master Page and the subform Page1. I eliminated most of your subforms and all remaining subforms flowed, rather than positioned (partially because of my preference and more often out of necessity). I used the function of legend for the textfields and eliminated separate text for those fields.

  I moved the header to the MasterPage, while it appears on every page and and made room for a footer which would also appear on every page, and this is where you can put the revesion document info, contact ino, or what you thought would be a good thing for this. It helps to define the page with something downstairs. You will locate the fields in the footer on the MasterPage. In addition, on the MasterPage, you can adjust the content area to make a small header or footer.

  The "Frame or Box" you have surrounding everything on the MasterPage - don't know if you want this thing to grow or not. The easyiest produce is to encapsulate all the items on page 1 in a subform of break fluid page and then use the page layout and the border tabs in the object palette shaped to love you - adjust left and right margins for "pad" to the inside of the subform-, then by adding a border. Then it will grow up, close at the bottom of each page and start a new box that runs on the next page and close when it is short on content. You could do this with existing subforms such as packaging issues and the end upward with a border visible wrapping around the Group of questions.

  Finally, I added the page numbering (use the worksheet # of # of the Custom library and change the word sheet Page) and all text formatted for input fields will look right. And I named all objects - a good habit like - since forms can become big and it allows to locate objects (and scripts) much more easy.

  With your other forms, to compare how I could do things with it and go from there. I think you may have made things a little harder than they need to be. I know how you feel - I was lost at the beginning. It is really not any classes that I found. But I'm probably having need a class now - and you will too. Keep at it.

  One last thing - another good practice is to name the file without spaces - as I have. If your going to put this on a server, you will avoid problems caused by spaces in the file names.

• I can't set the minimum height for a subform flowed

  I have a subform, sfQ, which contains four elements, tfInitials, cbQ, tfTypeCheck (hidden) and the tfQ1. tfQ1 is a text field that allows multiple lines. The four begin with a height of in.3125. When I put the subform to cast, the elements are moved to 'of top-down and the height of the a.9375 subform changes (as I expect). When I change the subform to the 'Western text', height of the subform is unafraid to return to in.3125. I expect to shrink down, given that the subform has no need to be so great when the lines are executed from left to right.

  If I select the subform and go to the page layout palette, and then type in the height I want, he returns to en.9375.

  Two things:

  Your if statements are not correct - you need two equal signs to test a value not one. So, If (noCheckBox.rawValue = 0) should be If (noCheckBox.rawValue == 0)

  In file > properties of the form on the Defaults tab make sure that 'keep changes scripts... ". "is set automatically on.

• minimum height for subforms flowed

  I have a subform that has a list of lines of the table inside the subform. These rows in the table have the 'hidden' presence and the presence becomes 'visible', based on a selection of radio in the area. Initially, when the form is loaded, these rows in the table are all hidden by default until users are added by changing the settings of the radio box. The subform that holds these rows in the table has a border and the content is "cast". When the content is cast and when all the rows of the table are hidden, the height of the subform is too small and the outline of the box does not look nice. is it possible for me to add a minimum height for this subform flowed? Is this possible?

  I tried to add the following to the layout event javascript code: loan of the subform, but it does not work:

  I think minW and minH are inherited attributes are available to all containers, even if not all of them are being implemented. A subform flowed reserves only enough space for visible content, so if there is no content to draw, there is no space available. The only space reserved outside the content available is for the framework (i.e. borders/margins/etc) so that you can make when you hide the lines is to check if the subform has nothing left in it. If this isn't the case, then increase the margins up or down to increase the visible frame.

      Subform1.margin.bottomInset = "1.8in";
  

  You can define it at the time when you show something. Otherwise, you can place a subform of spacer (positioned) within the subform flowed to book space and hide if necessary.

• Subforms does not move as it should

  Well I know I have to do something wrong. I have been working on it since last night and can't seem to understand. I am building a form where once that a checkbox or radio is 'clicked' new issues appear. I was able to hide the fields using the command 'hidden' presence. I believe that the hidden command will exclude the purpose of the provision of the form, whereas the just invisible invisible but still consume space on the form. The problem I have is that I can't get the subforms that 'hidden' additional material is enclosed in back the form when the user makes not click the radiobutton or a checkbox to display the information that are hidden. I guess that in other words hidden information, I always consumes space on the form even if it was not invited to appear.   You are right in your description of hidden invisible v.

  I suspect that the main problem is that you have not set the subform containing flowing. For example, if you have the questions and the checkboxes on "page 1", then this aspect will be charged flows. This is necessary to ensure that no "flow" to space when objects are the value hidden. The form must also be saved as dynamic (I suspect you did already).

  When you work with presentations past it is a good idea to group static objects in subforms positioned and then these will keep their relative positions as subforms up and down. In your case, your optional questions would be in a subform and you would be visible/hidden the subform is not the issue.

  A few months ago, I tried to install Linux as a dual boot and had to wipe my drive but have not had any problems in the meantime. I currently have a Boot Camp Windows 10 partition, but it was installed some time ago. This could be my problem or is this something tied to the side Mac?

  Remove the Wacom software, it is a known problem in 10.11.5

  Also check all Wacom is removed from Log-in Items(use the) Sys Preferences > users and groups > login items

  Check, if pictures can access the original files of your pictures, or if the originals are missing.

  You can test to try to edit a photo or trying to export it with "file > export > export original file..."

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

• HP pavilion n003tx: MY HP laptop does not shut down properly after installing windows 10

  My HP laptop worked perfectly with windows 8.1. After the upgrade to windows 10 is not shut down properly. Power and wireless signals is always bright and also consumes the battery.  I need to press the button for at least 4 seconds power in order to stop completely.

  Is there any possibility to get rid of this problem

  When I disabled the quick start in power options > it works very well with a certain delay before start-up
