Fix the problem or get a new copy of the program. "It's too much of a coincidence. There is no way that I try to install all the files are corrupted.

  I solved the problem myself. I went in the default zone and seen that there is no program associated with it. as soon as I chose the windows installation program, I was able to update my program easily. Thank you all that you tried to help him.

• Where is a good place to get the set of patches for old games

  I've been looking for a good place to get the fixes for older games pc game.  I know that the best place is the site of publishers, but sometimes they stop making them available (e.g. FEAR).  I looked at a few well known places to get them, but they all require way too much personal information.  I don't feel comfortable giving my life away just to get a pc game patch.  It seems just a little scary to me for them to ask a lot of personal information.

  The games that I need patches for are Doom 3, Quake 4, AFRAID and prey.
  If you know of a good site, please report it.

  Wouldn't be nice if Microsoft made a website for it?  Then I could just connect you and get what I need lol.

• Blue screen after Patch Tuesday during HW failure diagnosis

  I have a HP Pavilion Elite m9357c plus, 6 GB RAM, Windows 7 64-bit edition, with a replaced boot drive (Seagate 1 TB ~1.5 years) and replacemante (Gigabyte with radiator cooling) video card and 1 GB of RAM - also about 1.5 years.  System has a Hauppauge and Windows Media Center Edition video capture card.

  Starting after this last Patch Tuesday (Nov 2014), the system, which has been stable for years, has experienced several BSOD.  After the premiere, I started a full scan of the system with Norton 360, but it blue screened again before the end.

  I then ran an Avira rescue disk, boot from the DVD of Avira scan, scanned all drives and found no problem.  I removed a few old programs to reduce the overall number then ran a registry cleaning.

  Last night after 30 min of streaming video, the screen is dark and came back with another BSOD.  I turned off the system for the evening

  Today, after starting in safe mode with network, review logs for clues, the monitor went black and unresponsive.

  Currently, when you try to turn it on, the blue led lights, fans work, the drive blinks ~ 3times in less than 5 seconds (then no more), the blue network light is on, the DVD will blink and cycle maybe (a little more than normal).  The screen remains black and does not start the BIOS or anything else, nor the second monitor (VGA, another HDMI is).  The keyboard does not and caps lock/num lock light does not enter the LED in the mice came out.  The system has no "beep" as usual when starting

  I think I have two issues here: first is a problem with something Patch Tuesday and the second a hardware problem.

  Forums offer anything by a tired CMOS battery, to a failure of the CPU, low-power, the defective boot drive.

  In these circumstances, someone at - it suggestions?  I'm pretty technical but not a guru of any measure.

  I changed the CMOS battery and start the system.  Right now, in safe mode with network through newspapers and analyses.  My geek don't think that friends at work is a battery, since the system quit while on.  Apparently, this system can become inop when the battery is too low, even if it's on.

  OK, maybe a stupid question... when I download the patch on the Cisco site, it indicates that it is a. GPG file, however, once the download complete it appears as one. TAR. TAR file... am I supposed to rename it? Or am I wanted to unzip somehow, unpack everything utility I try says that the file contains no archives or is incomplete or corrupted!

  If there is a document that details how to install patches please someone could post the link.

  It is a browser problem. You must rename the file with the extension .gpg (the original name of the patch file) for a successful installation of patch later. In other words, the installation will fail if you leave the patch name with the. tar.tar extension.

  As for your question on how to install the patch, it's in the Readme of the patch that you would see a link to "Readme for ACS download the patch file itself. "Here is the link to the Readme for 5.1.0.44.4 update rollup. Click this link to open the readme file before you click on the "Go ahead with Download" button to download the patch file.

• How to set up adoption to work without configuring patch FS - 12.2.4

  Hello Experts,

  I need your suggestion in 12.2.4 ebs cloning processes,

  Database - 11.2.0.3

  Application - 12.2.4

  Delta 6

  We have a daily process of clone in environment and it is completely automated through scripting shell, it takes 2 hours to clone us pre-production of Prod.

  Steps for cloning-

  1 clone of database via a level VM snap technologies

  2. clean the fnd nodes and run autoconfig on database layer

  3 - rsync happens parallel for the application tier

  4 - once rsync ends, run us autoconfig on the applications node and run the steps to clean some clone of post production of information and to define options profile

  5 - communicate to users

  We cannot apply patches on this forum that we have adopted set up right now (as the fs patch is not configured), in order to install the patch fs, it will take another 4 to 6 hours. According to the company, the clone that happens daily requirement, then this environment comes down to 20 hours to next clone. So 4-6 hours work time to configure patch fs for adoption will not help

  Requirement is - we want to adopt to work on this 12.2.4 environment without patch fs. We apply all the patches in /hotpatch mode, I guess Run fs is necessary for the patches to be applied in /hotpatch.

  Can someone please advice/suggest if we can achieve this without configuring Patch fs. Since the data are very recent on this pre-production, it'll be great we can activate the ability to patch on that to test the company's problems

  However, it is preferable to full adoption patch cycle allows to apply patches on test systems.

  Prepare the patch on the cloned environment file system requires no downtime. You can do this even if the application is running.

• Patching EBS 11i, 12.0, 12.1

  Hi all

  I have been using EBS R12.2.4 for awhile and used for patching with adoption.

  We have now old 12.1 EBS who need additional patch.

  I am ready to forget the patchwork of old process, and I can't find my notes.

  Is patching 11i, 12.0 and 12.1 have the same process?

  I mean, if I find docs for 11i, it will work also in 12.1?

  Steps simple patching to 11i/R12.1

  a.) all analyses of Patch and download patches

  (b) take backup--(facultatif, dépend deles de correctifs vous postulez)

  (c.) unzip Patches

  (d.) the Services of app stop

  e.) activate the Maintenance Mode using adadmin

  f.) apply the patch using adpatch - don't worry about the options from now on, answering all questions about the session adpatch

  (g.) the steps Post Patch

  (h.) disable Maintenance Mode

  (I.) Services of Applicaton of start
