  IMAQ excerpt 2 allows you to retrieve the specified Image and then ordered Co IMAQ write to the file for writing to the file (you can select the model image bmp or png)

  You are right, if the requirement would
  "all the names of addresses where name does contain only characters.

• What is the best way to manage my problem of pattern match?

  Use vision assistant 8.2, I formed a model (Psquare.png) from the GoodPrndl.bmp.   Of course, I get a good match for this image.  I expect to get a bad match for BadPrndlClip.bmp.  You will notice that missing a corner of the square.  This problem of delimitation has been produced in the production and rendered to the client.  Could an expert review this problem and give suggestions on the best method to detect this problem of cutting.  Remember that cutting or the vacuum might occur anywhere on the site or 'P '.   I have also attached special criteria script.

  You can do it like that. And use a particulate filter after this operation. I feel give you coherence because the broken here part means that the rectangle will not be completed. Please see the attached image that shows the treatment for the bad image.

  I would like to know how I can read a template´s of information about whether it is a model macthing or a geometric model?

  In my code, users of the models and the algorithm must match them using special or geometric criteria depending on the model.

  For the moment I do by including a P or G file name, but I would avoid it and read the information in the file.

  Any ideas?

  In 10g, the column looks very good. Where, as in 11 g I can see additional label as 'looks like (match)' dashboard.

  In the dashboard where the call is placed, go to edit the dashboard and an object of text below to the command prompt. Check here the option content enable HTML and paste the code below into the text section. Record the results of the dashboard and the view. Now, the text would be replaced, and nothing can be broadcast in place of "is AS (match)."

  I use oracle 8i and do a very simple thing here. But I do not know why the request is not pulling any results. Let me explain with an example.

  I want to make a model matching in the field above and assign values to the output.

  It works for me.

  Whenever you have a problem, it helps if you post a test script complete that others can run to recreate the problem, like this:

  Hi all

  As a newbie in LabVIEW, I don't know a lot about machine vision.

  I need for my project automation, stitching the images (from 4 cameras, 90 degrees). Do the perspective correction and then form a label (which is actually pasted on the jar).

  Please share your experience on the same type of project. And help me to proceed with the development of the project.

  Also find enclosed all the pictures from the camera.

  PS: Due to budgetary constraints, I use very basic USB cameras available, and the attached picture is the actual image.

  To be able to correct the image for distortion, you first have to calibrate it. Assuming that your setting of the camera is constant (i.e. the bottle always at the same place in what concerns the cameras, I would first of all paste a grid around the bottle calibration and then take a few pictures of this grid with all four cameras.)

  We install a calibration grid, you can print: C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Vision\Documentation\CalibrationGrid.pdf

  This example will then show how you can learn the calibration using the images of the grid, and then the correct images would have taken you without the grid.

  Note that you need to recalibrate the system if something changes (lens focus, camera or bottle of position.

  After this step, you should have 4 images 'straight' which have been corrected for distortion and which can be used for sewing.

  For sewing, unfortunately, Vision Development Module does not include an exit of the seams of box function.

  If this is acceptable, you can use some third party software that provide features couture, such as Photoshop Autostitch, Hugin, Ptgui, Panorama Tools, search for Microsoft Image Composite Editor, CleVR Stitcher or Adobe Systems.

  If you need to do everything in LabVIEW, I can point you to some of the tools provided with the library you can use to create your own algorithm of seam. This part is certainly the most difficult of your project.

  Image stitching process can be divided into three major components - image calibration, registration and fusion. We already talked about calibration.

  -Image recording is to couple features in your images in order to align them. You can use tools like the corresponding model and edge detection for this purpose Watch examples of vision LabVIEW to know how to code in LabVIEW.

  -Image mix is to process the images to account for the difference in brightness of images from several cameras.

  Histogram analysis on the different images and applying a lookup table are simple tools that you can use for this purpose.

  Images can then mingle with features like IMAQ ImageToImage.

  A regexP_replace duplicate should work. There could be better solution with the only expression of regexp_, but at the moment I can #t find it.

  I created a program that pattern matching on a video. I want the program to open a template to use for the corresponding model model and allow the user to select a model from an image in Labview and then use this model as the corresponding model model. I have the code that does all that. The part that allows you to select a model in Labview is a sample program that comes with Labview. I don't know how to integrate it. Thank you.

  
  

• Single channel match trigger speed model vs onset of edge on the PXI-6562

  I think that my question boils down to this: what function does the edge of trigger plan that is not provided by the model match trigger?

  As far as I know, the only differnece on the PXI-6562 is the edge trigger has its own pins dedicated (PFI pins and pins RSTI) to detect a trigger, while the model match trigger detects a rising edge or falling on a regular input pin.

  Is there a difference in performance (for example, the time to rearm)?

  Are both triggers synchronous types with the sample for dynamic acquisition clock?

  On my application:

  I acquire a signal off a SPI bus, triggering the CS line. I start to acquire data when the CS line going down and stops when the CS line is high. As I acquire data CS on a regular supply, it seems logical trigger on a pattern for this channel only match. I'm curious to know if there is any advantage to connect a PFI PIN to my CS of entry so that I can start using digital edge type.

  Arthur,

  There is no difference with regard to performance using a digital camera compared to a type of pattern match trigger. Specifications for rearm time reference to the trigger type (Start, reference, etc.) in the samples to rearm, and there is no difference with the performance when you use a digital advantage over a line/PFI line Trigger and a correspondence to the model used on the input signal. Change the source of the trigger itself will not change the performance of the material that occurs after the trigger is received. This behavior to sync with the clocks of acquisition regardless of the input source. We're just looking at different sources for the jury to look for a given trigger.

• patern match indicator

  Hi all

  I use Vision Assistant to develop a strategy for my project.

  In the Vision Assistant, if I select filtering, set the model and to capture images, when I apply the script with pattern matching, a red square appears on the image of end result showing where the Crackle is on the image.  Everything welll work.

  Then, I worked with parameters, and I can get the location that I need most of the time (not all the time).

  So, I told the Assistant export code to 2013 LabVIEW Vision.  That's happened.

  Then I got the code and he ran, and I can read an AVI file, change it to gray scale, apply to the location of the edge detection and get the X, Y of the image.

  It's all good.

  However, in the code exported, I do not see the red box will appear on the image, he had appeared in the Vision Assistant.

  To be sure that the LabVIEW is to determine the correct location, I would like to be able to show this Visual when replaying indicator stored AVI files.

  Any suggestions on how I can see the indicator 'match' on the image of the end result?

• The use of color matching with a webcam

  I have a webcam which I am able to use successfully in labview (i.e.. Get images)

  I looked at the examples of criteria special color and tried to change them, so that I can detect a red spot, which can be seen through the webcam, but were unsuccessful.

  Basically I'm doing color real-time pattern matching

  Can someone point me in the right direction? Or help out me?

  Hi guys,.

  It is an excellent example that installs with the vision development module. This example maybe not EXACTLY what you're after, because it allows you to dynamically set a color model to match. However, you can still save a static "model model" on the disc as well as the use in your code - if it is more relevant to your application. As a bonus in adding, deleting the dynamic learning model would simplify the code a bit.

  When ni.com research or the finder for example LabVIEW, do not forget to specify the COLOR the American way... color.

• How can I get good results from the detection of matching/shape of reason for this image?

  I need to be able to identify all nine squares in the first image (0000094718...) and others like him.  I tried to detect shape, filtering and geometric pattern match.  I tried to vary all parameters within these functions.  I tried the image preprocessing (and the model, if any: usually created from only one of the boxes) with thresholding and/or a muliplier before using the detection or the corresponding function and I still can not get all nine boxes and only these nine boxes.

  Can someone offer some help?  Ideally I would be able to use the shape detection, because it returns the coordinates of the corner rectangles and those who are particularly useful to me.  What confuses me about this feature, is that after setting the width/height minimum/maximum of rectangles to find, the program seems to ignore these instructions and returns matches outside these limits.

  It would be even better to be able to have a script which will identify all nine boxes in two attached images.  The boxes in the second image (X820A32) are more square.

  Try the attached script.  I think that you use only may not be the optimal threshold values.  You may find that you want to use a smoothing filter before making the threshold.  This should also help with nuisance particles.
