Pavilion 1303au g4: processors running low tdp

model:-pavilion g4 1303au

Processor :-amd a4 3330mx

This processor is operated in 45 w according to the official website of amd, but the performance of Cpuz, it shows that it is running on 35.1 watts tdp. Can someone explain why this is happening, is the lower tdp also decreases performance processors.

Well there at - it an option to change the bios of my laptop and to upgrade a custom new in there. Given that I get a start in my laptop screen with the image of two political leaders, as it has been gifted by Government. And I want to get this please help me.

It could be done in the advanced options (hidden by default) in the BIOS. Unfortunately BIOS and HW manufacturers will not let you do. You can change or set a lot of things in this section and people might prefer an upgrade instead of buying a new laptop. This is not what they want. In addition to this, Microsoft introduced the "secure starting" which makes laptops almost unusable for non-Windows users because the legacy mode does not always work.

    Manual

A8 - 3520M works and is the best that you can install.

The new processor would go a little wamer you need to install carefully with a good thermal paste but other than that it is all upside. The system is designed to support this processor well. You can install up to 8 GB of RAM. DDR3-1333. I would setup a dual 4 GB module for optimal performance.

  • HP Pavilion 500-239. Processor running hot

Hello. I recently bought a new HP Pavilion desktop pc 500-239. Unpacked Tuesday and used for only a few days. Immediately I noticed that the fan seems to be running pretty strong and fast, I downloaded a few temp monitors and I noticed that the processor runs at more than 90 degrees C at full load. Now, I know this is normal, especially for a new pc. The case is in a place where it becomes high flow. I even removed the side panel to let some air in, the same thing.

The processor is an AMD A - 10 6800 k quad core. Now, I've read the fan stock on those who are a bunch of garbage and will have to level it as well to get new thermal paste, but I wanted to see if there was no explanation as to why it runs so hot out of the box. I can't imagine that HP would leave the pc leave the warehouse without checking that the first.

Operating system is Windows 8.1 64bits

Also, tell me that it is a good idea to install the first location of 2 GB and 4 GB in second Slot? or go with 2 * 2 GB into the two slots? My processor is Capable of running 4 + 2 GB of RAM?

    I joined my current RAM.

If you are going to use 4 gig modules get 2 as it is only a few dollars more and you'll be much happier with it running in dual channel mode.

    Hello

No, you can't, you need a new motherboard and a few other things. Better to buy a new machine.

    Kind regards.

  • Pavilion 1303au g4: want to change my old laptop motherboard

    model:-HP pavilion 1303au g4

    Processor :-amd a4 3330mx

I want to change my laptop amd motherboard at intel we do not know what motherboard to choose also do not know where to get it can someone suggest me among the motherboards that can be mounted in my laptop.

    Hello

Did you know that doing it this way would cost you more to buy a new machine with similar specs right now? Because

    (a) you need new motherboard,

    (b) new CPU,

    (c) New fan, cooling system,

    ....

You will have to perhaps new RAM too. And work enormous cost.

    Hope it makes sense.

  • HP Pavilion 15-p243sa: processor upgrade

    Hello community of HP.

I have a hard time with my laptop. It freezes constantly and I am considering upgrading the processor.

What features of the motherboard I should know before I start looking for a new processor? Could you please tell me?

    Thanks in advance.

Intel Pentium N3540 with Intel HD Graphics (2.16 GHz, 2 MB cache, 4 cores)

That's what you have. The Pentium is a processor very low end and I am sure that the laptop was at a very low price. The CPU is soldered to the motherboard. No upgrade is possible for any amount of money that makes no sense.

They do an i7-5500 motherboard for this model, but they are hard to find and crazy cheap. At the time you buy the motherboard and pay someone to install it, you could just buy a new laptop and if you sell your aunt Millie to her Instagram (all the laptop is good for) and buy one with a real processor you get out far in advance.

I post here all the time and try to give my opinion on why these laptops low-end with cell phone processors are even available, but the marketing people say that customers are willing to pay a fair price for a solid computer and Geek Squad and other vendors do a very poor job of public awareness : Yes, it is a laptop $ 250, but what can she do? Will you get sick of it and have to buy something else? Putter: you get what you pay for.

It is best to run low battery or all the way down between cycles? It hurt battery to keep our laptop plugged into a large part of the time?

    Hello

Most modern laptops use lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries.

If frequently drain you a lithium-ion battery, and then recharge it, it can quickly lose its ability to hold a charge, which also affects the accuracy of the battery meter.

The practice of completely draining the battery and then full charge is recommended which applied on the old batteries to nickel-cadmium (NiCd) and, to a lesser extent, the batteries to nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH).

Lithium-ion batteries last longer if you load them often, a little at a time and try to maintain a minimum load of about 40 percent capacity.

  • Pavilion 17-F004DX: processor upgrade

I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the processor in my Pavilion 17 notebook pc.  He already has a processor AMD A10 but I would like to make games more to this topic.  Is it possible to level to an i7 from Intel or AMD processor superior?

    -Thank you

You have the best AMD processor on this series of model and an Intel processor will not be connected to a motherboard for AMD processors. Your laptop is not really designed for a game at all. You have a video system that runs inside the CPU (called an APU not a CPU in your case) and while the video you have is very good to be part of the processor that is not much to say. If you want you need to think in terms of material purchase of game with a separate dedicated real video processor and a laptop card like that your entry point of game is less than $1500 and really more $2,000. HP is now a very good portable intermediate game that runs about $1300-1400.

  • Pavilion 1303au g4: Upgradation in my old laptop

    model:-pavilion g4 1303au

    RAM:-6 GB

    Processor :-amd a4 3330mx

I want to change portable so that it can work at its peak, but don't know how I am. I want to ask - is it possible to change the usb connectors of my laptop USB 2.0 to usb 3.0 is it possible to do. If yes how can I do that?

These are all the ports that you have:

    Ports ● 3-pole AC power ● audio input (mono microphone) ● Audio output (stereo headset) ● HDMI version 1.4 supporting up to 1080 p, 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz and 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz ● RJ45 DVI mode (Ethernet, includes the link and activity lights) ● USB 2.0 (3 ports) ● VGA (d - Sub 15-pin)

Laptops used to have a thing called a pcmcia slot, then it was expresscard 34 or 54, then 3 or 4 years, no extension module don't port except USB. Also, they get rid of firewire.

To be 100% clear as apparently I don't get my point across: no, there is no way to add a usb 3.0 port on this laptop. There is no pci-e slot or elsewhere outside or inside the laptop to plug such a thing in.

  • Pavilion 15-g004AU: processor upgrade

Hello everyone, I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade my computer 15-g004AU Pavilion laptop at least 2 Ghz processor? My processor is 1 GHz, but it is not enough to manage my work, so I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade this kind of model of HP laptop? If so, then how much it will cost to upgrade to 2 Ghz in India? And also I would like to know the lowest cost that my budget is very limited. Thank you.

You have the AMD E1-2100 processor, which is extremely low. Here is the Manual:

    Manual

See page 17-18. See the list of system boards? There is a different for each processor. This means that the CPU is soldered to the motherboard. You need to replace the whole motherboard to get a faster processor. The minimum that you can get that has a clock speed of 2.0 ghz is this one:

Processor AMD A6-6310 and UMA graphics 764262-501 (support Windows 8.1 standard).

The jury is on sale here for $80:

Labor to install it can be very expensive because it is a very complicated process. After back if you are interested in pursuing further.

I ask because the predecessor that im running the same type of architecture and as the new piece and I would enjoy some chips has as much as earnings performance and cooling.

I had today and installed the chip. The chip works. I currently use it and I have not seen a problem so far. I am running so yes the A10 - 5700 M is compatible with my G7-2316nr Pavilion
