  I can copy is more photos on a CD.  HP Pavilion a250n is 10 years old.  I have always used this feature.  Message says that I don't have a CD burner.  Convenience store cannot run because it says WindSAPI.DLL not found, need to re - install... I have no idea what to do next... I just want to copy pix on CD.  Help

  When connecting to my home network to an HP Pavilion a250n under XP pro using the WMP300N, I can see and access the other computers on my home network (including another wireless computer running vista), but none of them can access this computer. When I wired this computer through the internal LAN port command, the other networded, computers can access the sharing of files very well. The network router is a WRT300N. Is the problem with WMP300N or the router, and you have any suggestions on how to fix it?

  When you connect the computer to the network using the WMP300N, check if the other computers can ping this computer. Maybe the firewall (Windows Firewall, antivirus, etc.) has been activated on the map only wireless network, just do a detailed audit and find out if it is the culprit.

  Which leaves you little choice about your laptop.

  Find BIOS mod sites and ask if anyone has the BIOS version you're looking for your laptop.

  Replace the system board is probably the best option.  Make yourself is not the best choice because the BIOS should be tattooed with the same credentials that the current Board of Directors system.

  Having the BIOS chip replaced by a BIOS repair business seems not viable, because your description of the problem seems also that the failure of the video solution is a part of it.

  Replacement of the laptop is the other option.

  I understand that your 500 GB HARD disk is full and you want to install a larger drive and more ram.  Here is a link to HP Pavilion dm4 Entertainment PC Maintenance and Service of Guide. Please note Chapter 3, page 24, section 15 modules of memory and point 18 drives for replacements recommended for your system. Please be aware that the maximum memory is 8 GB. (found in Chapter 1, page 2, memory). As a 2 TB drive has not been tested in this model, the result is unknown.  This does not mean that it will not work, only that it is not a walk recommended and not supported by HP.

• Request help second addition, internal hard drive [HP Pavilion Elite e9290f]

  Quick question here. I am a music producer and you can always use a ton of extra space as some of my projects are 17 to 20 GB in size. My HP e9290f comes with a stock of 1 TB Seagate (I think) internal hard drive. I intend to add this DeckStar HGST hard 4 TB (7200 RPM)

  However, I am not sure, if this drive is compatible with my computer. I talked about the upgrade & maintenance manual but inside, he tells me only how to replace the current internal hard drive. The addition of this amount of space external hard drive is not an option since all my ports are used by external hard drive! Can anyone shed light on what tools I need exactly to connect this HD extra 4TB? I would appreciate your answers, because time is of the essence

  I have not tested a HDD 4 TB on the motherboard of truckee. In theory, it should work as a data reader set shaped like a GPT disk.

  Another option if you don't want to take the risk is to install two hard drives of 2 TB. The one in the location empty in the cage from the hard drive and another in the optical drive Bay (if open) second.  You will need one 3.5 "to 5.25" adapter if you use the optical Bay.

  Check on the return policy for the 4 TB harddrive and see if your can return/exchange it if it doesn't work.  Kit retail for Hitachi 4TB has an optional driver if the motherboard of your PC will not format the drive completely outside up to 4 TB.

I should have noted some things while I was there, but I was a little excited to get it working again. I noticed a few differences in my template to the list for the Pavilion Elite HPE, I found this site, but I should be able to answer your questions with a quick glance to see if it's right. HP presents my motherboard as "MS-7613 (lona-GL8E)" but I'm sure that my Board is a Foxconn version 1.01 Aloe with a 3.0 GHz AMD Phenom II x 4 processor.

  You must send the motherboard to HP or an authorized service center for tattooing the BIOS/CMOS with your information system, if you want to use your HP recovery disks in the future.

  Alternatively, if you can still read the product key 25 character Windows on the Microsoft COA (see example below) attached to the computer, you can install Windows 7 using this key.

  I have what is essentially a hp notebook pc pavilion dv6985se.  The case is the special edition of the copper color model.  Motherboard of the laptop being (for lack of a better way to explain it), "tattooed" with windows vista, I tried to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit sp1 and cannot until the date of windows despite many attempts troubleshooting update. So, my ultimate question is a motherboard more modern, say like the dv6163cl, I in a newer model specifications that I own.  FE11UA dv6700 in question here is a model I want to continue to use it in the hope of the upgrade that I need to upgrade THIS appliance that works?  Any suggestions would help me a lot in my choices as appropriate.

  Hey, guys.

  I have owned HP Pavilion a6745f since 2009, and it is served every day since.  I have a big thing for her; the only thing I added was an AMD Radeon GPU 6570 just now.

  For these last days, I noticed a weird behavior, as my mouse and keyboard would randomly stops working.

  Someone told me to check the capacitors of the card from my mother and I noticed that on 6 capacitors aligned next to the CPU are corroded on the top.

  How can I fix?  Is it possible to fix it?  I'm told to HP motherboards are exclusive and cannot be easily replaced?  Then what should I do to save this computer?

  Hello there HaganeSteel! : I'm about to bring you some bad new motherboard of your computer has died or is about to because of these capacitors.

  Unfortunately from time to time it happens like a bad disease that is Terminal

  The only cure is to go for the HP store parts & order a new motherboard in this way, the computer will it is even one "tattoo" that your love of media recovery because that's how your PC back to normal

  2nd most common method is to get a new motherboard from Asus, MSI etc. also you will need a new case & PSU so

  then reinstall your wear in the new MB & cases, you will need to obtain the commercial Windows version because the recovery disks work finally you will need to download all the drivers that you must have to make it operational.

  the good thing is that you will have state-of-the-art stuff if you go this route

  I had the same situation happen to me in January 2008, when I had a made-to-measure machine Xion-MSI bitten the dust because of these two bad MB so that an MSI GeForce 6700 bad video card a consolation is that now I'm running a real tank M1A2 in my 2011 Pavilion HPE 410.

  Is it possible tto upgraded the video chip to a newer version in existing specifications.  This laptop was classified, upwards, to windows 7 and does not have a compatible system of looking.  TI particaaly only works right now.  Do nor the heart Control Panel and cannot access a HDMI device.  or the second monitor.

  It is not impossible that the video chip has gone wrong. The video with nVidia dv7-1000 series has a bit of history of the failures of the video chip.
