Pavilion a6057c: HP a6057c PC - Uprade 1 GB to 4 GB memory - 4x1Go or 2x2gb DIMMs
I want to increase the 1 GB (2 x 512 MB) of memory, 4 GB using DIMM DDR2 PC2-5300 (667 MHz).
My questions are:
(1) that I have to use 4 x 1 GB DIMMS, I would need to buy, or can I use 2 x 2 GB DIMMS which I already own?
(2) if I use 2 x 2 GB DIMMS, which of the four available seats on the motherboard should be used?
I am aware of the following requirements for this model computer:
-Dual channel memory architecture
-Four connectors DIMM DDR2 240-pin
-Supported PC2-3200 (400 MHz), PC-4200 (533 MHz) and PC2-5300 (667 MHz) DDR2 DIMM
-memory only, non - ECC unbuffered
Thank you for responding.
I was looking for something more specific, authoritarian and reassuring a HP support staff member.
I ended up using 4 x 1 GB with the expected results.
For what it's worth, and for the benefit of third parties, after removing the modem and TV adapters and increasing memory beyond the requirement of 2 GB for Windows 10, ended with success, installation work of 10 Pro 64-bit (Build 10586.3) to a HP a6057c desktop Windows.

A video card decent for the games will require a bigger power supply in your PC. Go with a level of high level video wouldn't do justice to your PC based on its current level of performance of the components.

Pavilion DV6433cl: What I can Uprade HP Pavilion DV6433cl to 256 GB SSD drive
I have a HP Pavilion DV6433cl laptop and I would like to replace my 160 GB drive existing with a 256 GB SSD to speed things up. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and have bios f.2e installed.
1 is it possible?
2. If so, what are the specifications of the ssd I have to be on the lookout for and I need to install drivers or software to run easily and quickly? Suggestions for specific ssd that work would be most appreciated.
I think I read somewhere that I can replace/install the sticks of memory 2 X 2 GB (4 GB of memory in total) for the 2 X 1 GB sticks that are currently in the laptop because I have the system BIOS F2. E installed? The next job? : Hynix full 4 GB RAM 2x2gb DDR2-800 PC2 - 6400S DDR2 200pin SODIMM memory
Thanks in advance for your time and answers.
Yes, you have true SATA hardware more early in order to be able to run an SSD. Your SATA is SATA-I 150 Mbps, but more recent readers SATA-III will downclock. Samsung Evo 840 years ago great records and we'll work for you.
Your memory is officially maxxed to 2 GB, but 3 works for almost everyone. 4 will not. The memory is DDR2-667 DDR2-800 not.
I strongly suggest upgrading to Windows 7. He manages the SSD better than Vista. With Windows 7, it is roughly homogeneous. Just install the SSD as a hard drive and make sure that the storage of BIOS has native SATA (ahci) value and not the legacy (IDE).

My hard drive stop working on my HP Pavilion 23-g013w all in one computer. I replaced it with a new 1 TB hard drive. I also installed new memory Crucial upgrade to 16 GB. All new "hardware" is installed on the computer. When he came she said "Please install operating system on your pc" I ran to the verification of memory and the hard disk check and they both passed.
I had this all in one at Wal-Mart 2 years ago and it did not come with the recovery disk or they were lost.
Is there a way to connect with ethernet and download the software, I need?
Otherwise, what is my next best option... .or not?
Thank you.
Thank you very much for the help. I will continue to "hold" on the line... Good day.

So I bought the new laptop (hp pavilion 15-p153nm), in the shop where I bought it says that this laptop have two memory slots, so I buy the new 4 gb ddr3 ram card and wanted to put in the free memory slot, but when I opened the laptop that I couldn't find free one slot... so my question is where is this second slot... I use other products (printers and laptop computers HP etc.) for 10y and if this is an hp error and they didn't put the second slot in this notebook, I'll be very disappointed.
And yes I find manual for this laptop, I opened this laptop from this manual and he drew two memory cards but its all is said about memory cards. I have pictures of the laptop and everything and I will put them here.Configuration software Specy
It says that I have a free slot? but I still don't see.
Now I'll put pictures of the laptop inside
under the keyboard
Other side of the main card
Under the motherboard
So pls help me to solve this mystery of the second memory slot.
And sry for my English isn't my main language.
TNX for helping me. Good bye
There is no second slot of memory in this model specification.
You need to replace the module installed with a capaity module above uppgrade the memory capacity.
On the three t pageit the manual describes two locations only on some models. It does not describe what models they are.

Hello @MOMKEYPIARAT,
Thanks for the quick response!
Have you tried using the Reset button? Since the system is new, you can try to perform a system recovery, to set the office back to the factory settings. You can use the following documents to help you, if necessary:
HP computers - Reset button Microsoft (Windows 10)
HP computers - perform a recovery of the system (Windows 10) HP

Here is your manual:
See page 53.
On page 4 it says that it can take 8 GB.
This is the part number for the official module 8 GB:
693374 001
It is a low density (8 blocks of memory on the module) DDR3L-1600 1.35 volts SO-DIMM memory.
If that's what you are looking at:
http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16820231704
It will work, but I fear that the manual says that the max is a single module of 8 GB. The good thing is that your laptop has an easy access to the ememory Panel so it is quite easy to upgrade.
I like to think 2 x 8 GB will work but can not guarantee it.

Ram HP Pavilion Elite m9040n upgrade options
Hi, my question has to do with what is the best ram to fill my ram slots with. I run windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I don't know that I can fit 8 GB total. I'm in recording music with a large number of devices. I have things like a console 003, a 11Rack, a Boss GT - 10, as well as a Piano Yamaha G-1. All are via USB except the 003 (Firewire connection).

CARD READER USB FOR DESKTOP HP PAVILION 500 - C60?
I have a new 500 - C60 HP Pavilion desktop computer, but the front card reader does not accept the largest flash Compact Flash (CF) card. I have an old USB multi-card with four different card slots, which accepts the card see Would this setting work satisfactorly?
Thank you
shamrock838
Hello @shamrock838,
I understand that your desktop HP Pavilion 500 - c60 PC does not support the biggest Compact Flash Memory Card and you are curious as to whether or not you can install an USB multicard Reader which accepts the memory card see First of all, you have reason 7 - in1 media card reader did it installed does not supported CF memory card, but it supports the following cards:
- Digital safe™ (SD)
- Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC)
- SDXC
- Memory Stick
- Memory Stick Select
- Memory Stick PRO
- Memory Stick MagicGate
I don't see why you can't connect the 4 - in1 USB multicard reader you have. Until the operating system detects and installs, you should be fine.
I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

I can't find the maximum size that accepts the laptop, anywhere, can someone tell me?

Hello oneoleguy,
You want to know what size of SD card, you can use on the computer.
I looked at your user manual and it says nothing about the size, only to a SD DO NOT a SDHC.
The largest SD card you can find will work.
Here is a link to the user guide were I found the information.
Formats of Digital Media Slot supports the following digital maps:

● Secure Digital (SD) memory cardI would like to know how everything goes.

You can upgrade to an SSD. It provides incredibly fast access times that make it a true performance upgrade. Consider buying an SSD in migrat kit which includes a usb cable to sata and cloning software. I highly recommend the Samsung and SSD Crucial players.
