Pavilion a6250t: the clock of the computer in my office to a6250t Pavilion (Windows Vista) is not current.

A week ago, I started having security boxes of certificate that appears when you first turn on my desktop computer. A person of Norton figured out it was because the date and time had expired on the original date of early 2007 computer. We went to my control panel, clicked on the Date and time and put things to be up-to-date. However, now it is sliding back continuously (every day or every other day), despite my repeatedly redefine the Date and exact time. What should do?

[I'm not very computer savvy, so am a little nervous to do anything too complicated.]

If it is continuously reset at startup and will not hold your changes, it is time to change the CMOS battery.

Original title: portable computer complete crash

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium on HP Pavilion DV2208e.
A week using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, the screen went black and all the lights on the laptop has continued. I tried to stop the laptop by pressing the power button, but it did not work. The only way to stop the laptop was to unplug the power cord. The next morning, that I started it again, with a notice "Windows did not close properly, how you want to proceed.» I opted for "start Windows normally". It seems to work very well, with the expection that the date had re-fixed at the date where Vista was installed first of all a few years ago. Later, when I tried to stop the laptop by choosing from the menu start 'Shut down', the laptop shuts down normally, but then 2-3 seconds more later handed on himself. I tried several times and it's always the same, the way to stop it is by pressing the power button, then whenever it restarts it new note that Windows not stop correctly. Also the black screen crash turned up almost every two days.

I tried reinstalling antivirus and did a full scan. Also used ccleaner and décliqués "Automatically restart" in the advanced system settings. But nothing seems to have worked so far.

In computer management, I can see critical events that seem to correspond to the time when the black screen error occurred. They say the following:

    Hello

I bought an external hard drive Sansung to save all my music, but when one copy all my external music files hard drive thumbnails disappears. I uncheck the "always show icons, never thumbnails" in folder options, I tried large icons on display options, I even checked "display thumbnails instead of icons" on the Visual effects tab in the Panel of the Performance in Advanced system settings. ' " Prevented, Windows Vista is not able to see the photos in my external hard drive.

Looking forward to your audience you shortly.
    Thanks in advance,

    1. click Start allprograms,Accessories, System Tools folder and Disk Cleanup

2 check the photos and click OK.
NOTE: Cache view the size of your thumbnail. More browsing, it can make.

3 click delete files button on the confirmation window.

4 disk cleanup will now clear thumbnail cache and close.

This should clear up your tiles and once you access the program again the cache database will be recreated with the right thumb nail (we hope).

  • I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full.

I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full. I don't understand how he got that way... but... I've never used windows to the top, however I do back up with my Norton Security.  I'm not a COMPUTER guru AT ALL and am very confused as to what must be saved for me to do a system restore.  I just made a backup on a 16 GB usb flash drive, which included photos, documents, email, contacts and music.  But what of my registry or my drivers I've updated on the latest updates of 2 years and windows?

So in plain English for the layperson to the computer, lol, can someone tell me...

    1. where should I back up to? (windows, norton?)

    2. what should I back up? EXACTLY, please. lol (I have hundreds of games, I don't want to back to the top if possible)

3 and... HOW MUCH ALCOHOL SHOULD I HAVE AVAILABLE WHILE TRYING THIS. LOL just kidding. Laughing out loud

    Hello

Updates must be installed in a certain order and no Service Pack must be installed unless and until it is offered through Windows Update.

    However, try these options:

Step 1: You can not reuse what already automatically downloaded and installed. You can however save updates and install them manually if you wish.

Step 2: You can create a system image on the computer. A system image is an exact copy of a disc. By default, a system image includes the drives required for Windows to run. In addition, it includes Windows and your system settings, programs and files. You can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer if your hard drive or computer ever stops working.

  • Error - the computer is running an operating system Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not support for the installation of the Extension of reporting Dynamics CRM 2011.

Original title: Dynamics CRM 2011 Extension of reporting facility.

    Nice day

Asked me to install this program called Extension Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 report Authoring on one of our PC network operations.  The computer is a Dell OptiPlex 960 under Windows XP SP3.  When attempting to install the program, you get the following error message:

The computer is running an operating system Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not support.  To install this product, you need to upgrade your computer to an operating system supported.  For a complete list of supported operating systems, see the documentation for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=181018)
For additional detals see logfile C:\Documents and Settings\bcodom\Application Data\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs\BIDSExtensionsSetup.log

Now, normally, I just coordinates with the end-user to him upgrade to Windows 7, however, after watching on the download page of this application (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=13818), I noticed that Windows XP is one of the supported operating systems that can be installed on.  In addition, after looking around on the Technet documentation, I was not given a definitive answer on whether or not this application is not supported on Windows XP.

So, my question is creation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 report Extension works on Windows XP SP3, or do we let us upgrade this computer to Windows 7?  Thank you!

    Hi scoobydoochick,

    1. what recovery disc do you have?

    2. you receive an error message?

    3. you see the computer manufacturer's logo while you start the computer?

Looks like that there are some hardware failure on the computer that is preventing the computer from starting.

Will need you a Windows vista installation disc as recovery are different from the install disc and restore disks are created by the computer manufacturer, we are not aware of its functions.

Once you get the Windows vista installation disc, that you try startup repair by using the link below or take the local computer tech shop and the material tested on the computer.

  • Windows Vista is not look right after the virus scan (looks like old fashioned)

I ran a test and test of computer optimization after what my Windows Vista is very old looking shaped with square blocks and the screen seems also very dark. Can I make the screen brighter, but need to do this each time I start up. But my main thing is to get Windows Vista normal looking again. I tried updates, but not worked.

Can someone give me some advice please?

    Hello

I'm curious to know what it was: 'computer optimisation test '.

Normally, you lose your Vista theme after the graphics drivers are not updated.

That's why I was wondering what you were doing.

    Try this:

Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > drivers download Section > then key in your computer model number > find your operating system > find two graphics / video or from the Chipset drivers and download and install.

It would also be a good idea to run the System File Checker tool to see if you have corrupted files

"How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the files on system missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7"

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

  • Windows Vista does not start upward, with success since the closure complete

    Hello world

I actually had this problem for a long time, but I'm just now to a point where I'm ready to take a lead in fixing it.

I can't identify when it started, but Windows Vista does not start upward, with success of a full stop. He gets to the screen where, in general, the green bars will travel across the screen, but the green bars will not come. The screen looks dim and sits there, with the text of the copyright of Microsoft Corporation. So, after not having on the mound, I have to manually shut down the computer by holding down the power button. When I try to start again, told me to go through the Startup Repair tool. If I jump the repair, I just have to meet the same problem - a computer that will not go beyond the screen "green bar".

So, I do the Startup Repair, and told me what I do for the restoration of the system. Windows starts normally after the restoration.

Don't forget, this happens from a full stop. To remedy this, I just never completely shut down my computer. I left running and back just at the beginning of the day. The computer may start restart, it just may not start with a full stop.

Given the start of repair takes, literally, around 4 or 5 hours of full stops complete, accidental or power outages are a nightmare, I am obliged to wait 5 hours to get access to the computer. Fortunately, I have my laptop.

If someone has encountered this? I saw people talking about the loop of startup repair, but that's not the point, I have. I have yet to see any discussion of my specific problem.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

4-5 hours to do a startup repair is too long.

Often you get better results if you a using a DVD of Microsoft Vista startup repair.

Jose how to do a startup repair, etc. using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft

Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

Unfortunately, you have to buy it.
