  No, you can't upgrade graphic on your machine. You need to replace the WHOLE motherboard (= purchase new machine). Please read the mnual from your link, it is clearly stated on page #1:

  OK good point. You have an A8 - 4500M that has a video AMD 7640 G included in the APU. You could install a 10 - 4600M gives you an AMD 7660 G graphics card. You would get a little better performance:

  I currently have a HP pavilion HPE-H8-1212 with an AMD Radeon HD 7450 card with the standard power supply provided with the computer.  From now run many games on this machine with what graphics settings be better then adverage is a sad screen.  I don't need the best, but I was wondering if I could spend my power supply card and graphics mabye if need be to get the best out of this small computer for gaming?

  I'm downgrading my Pavilion 17 f004dx to Windows 7 Pro.  I have the Pro Windows 7 64 bit responsible and all windows updates for it so far.  I'm having a problem with the installation of the video drivers.  For some reason any the AMD Catalyst video driver utility does not see the specific video hardware video card model AMD Radeon HD graphics on the display card.  Windows 7 Pro keeps defining it as the "Standard VGA graphics card".  Does anyone know what it should be showing under display adapters in Device Manager.

  Is there anything I can do to get Windows 7 Pro 64 bit to recognize the graphics card AMD Radeon HD, so the AMD Catalyst software will be able to load the correct video drivers?

  None of the other drivers that we tried was the hardware ID for the GPU to your laptop, but this one doesn't.

If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

  You may need to install the driver manually if auto installation does not work.

  Hello Rascal, apparently, your system may be a little old to run any recent video games.

  Here a link to the plug on the motherboard, and it shows the system comes with 512 MB of system memory and a maximum of 1 GB of system memory.

  It also has a video feature embedded VIA with 64 MB of video card memory. It has a slot machine video AGP.

  Carpet is it possible to upgrade the video card AGP, but I doubt you'd see much improved performance.

  Just some thoughts.

  I'm not sure of what you ask for because you indicated that you are sure that it is the CPU but you have what it takes to update the graphics card.   You can use the management tasks (resource monitor) to monitor the CPU usage while the game is active and see if the CPU is limited (more than 70%).

  Install a Corsair power SUPPLY 600w PSU and give the NVIDIA one 760 go.  Find out what the return policy is before you buy.

  The model number is 15-p053nd. There is unfortunately no way to upgrade. On this model the processor and the video are soldered on the motherboard so that the only way to update something would be to replace the motherboard. A motherboard replacement with a processor and upper specification video card will cost as much as the computer laptop everything worth it and would still need to be installed.   I bought a new HP Pavilion m6 2 weeks ago and when I have the HP Support Assistant ru it tells me to download the AMD High Def Graphics Driver - this that I do, but he returns constantly with - AMD High Def Graphics Driver is not installed or is not working properly - once again I am trying to download and so on and so forth.

  What am I supposed to do about it?

  Make sure you download the right driver from AMD.  Save it!  Then, run it and choose uninstall.  This will remove all old or incorrect AMD drivers, and you have to restart your computer.   When it restarts go to computer-> downloads and right-click on the AMD driver and click Run as administrator.  This will install the new driver of hi-def.

  I was looking in the Device Manager on my laptop, trying to find the specs on my display driver that I've always had problems with it, and I see (what I think are) two display drivers!

  You can use the AMD driver listed on your laptop support page.

  It is a custom driver developed by AMD/Intel to work specifically with the graphical configuration has your laptop.

  Any attempt to update the driver through windows update, go to the AMD or Intel sites to find newer drivers will cause the switchable graphics to stop working correctly.

  I do have any laptops with switchable graphics, so I can't help you with how to address the issue that you have other than what I said above.

  I know that the graphics driver of HP swithcable is outdated, but HP is not update unless there is a bug known.

  Must be too expensive for them to get with AMD/Intel to develop constantly the updated drivers is all I can surmise.
