Pavilion g4-1135dx: need appropriate drivers

I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 on a laptop computer that I own, when Windows was finished, I noticed that three drivers have not installed.

The pilots were the Ethernet, the network controller and the PCI device controller.

I think I narrowed down it to Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Driver for Microsoft Windows, and the driver Realtek LAN (LAN), but I'm not 100% sure what I need for the PCI device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

The first 2 drivers are below.

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp53501-54000/sp53753.exe

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp55001-55500/sp55083.exe

The PCI device may well be below card reader driver.

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp55001-55500/sp55085.exe

Kind regards

DP - K

  • Need all drivers for HP Pavilion G1M18EA 17

Hello, I just bought a new laptop, and I have problems with the search for drivers for it. Laptop came with no cd and a Wi - Fi connection does not work without a driver, just FYI I'm a real beginner in this kind of things.

    Windows 7 64 bit

    HP Pavilion G1M18EA 17

    Best regards.

Here are the specifications of your laptop HP Pavilion e115sm 17. According to the specification, this model left the factory with FreeDOS installed. HP provides only 8.1 Windows drivers on the page of drivers PC laptop HP Pavilion e115sm 17.

    WARNING *.

HP cannot provide the drivers for Windows 7 and the appropriate drivers are not available for the hardware in the computer. In addition, Windows 7 can not take in charge some of the hardware or software designed for the computer.

Make sure you create your media recovery HP or USB Flash Recovery discs before you edit or change anything.

The screenshots below is from a laptop HP 15 t-j100... options and the configuration on your computer screens may differ.

You will need to DISABLE "Secure Boot" and ENABLE "Legacy Support" in the "Configuration of the BIOS start-up secure" on the settings page similar to what is shown below, until you try to install Windows 7.

After you save the changes, the computer will ask you to confirm the changes... Accept the changes by typing the four digit code and press the ENTER"" key.

If you install from a USB key and see a message of "load a driver - a required CD/DVD drive device is missing", it's because as 'System Configuration' > 'Config USB3.0 in pre-start' is set to 'Enabled '. This should be set to 'Auto '.

In addition, as the hard drive is probably partitioned as TPG, you must start using the internal CD/DVD UEFI or UEFI-Key/key USB to install Windows on a GPT-partitioned disk. Turn on or restart the computer and press "F9" or "ESC", then "F9" when prompted. Select the source of boot UEFI you use and you press "ENTER".

I suggest using Windows 7 SP1 for the best installation experience. If you need Windows SP1, see 'How to install Windows 7 without the disc' to download and create your own disc of Windows 7 SP1. If the DVD does not start as UEFI, you may need to use a USB Flash drive (can ask "Quick start" DISABLING in BIOS) as the installation media. Please download the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a Windows 7 SP1 USB Flash drive. Please note that some computers may not recognize a valid active UEFI USB Flash drive if it is formatted in NTFS and may require only a FAT32 formatted USB Flash drive. You should be able to make a FAT32 formatted Windows 7 installation USB Flash drive using Rufus, UNetbootin, Universal USB Installeror WiNToBootic. I like Rufus, because it contains options for 'Plan of GPT partition for UEFI computer' and 'FAT32'.

    From the top...

    (1) turn on the computer and immediately start typing the key "ESC".

    (2) when the MENU is displayed, press "F10".

    3) navigate the BIOS to the "System Configuration", 'USB 3.0 pré-OS Config' and the value 'Auto '.

    4) navigate the BIOS to the "System Configuration", "Startup Options" and "Secure Boot" the value 'Legacy Support' the value "Enabled" and "Disabled"

    5) press "F10" and click "YES" to "Exit Saving Changes".

    (6) computer should restart and display "Change of operating system startup Mode"... type the four digit code, then press "ENTER".

    (7) let Windows 8 boot-go to top and place the support of Windows 7 SP1 in the drive to DVD or a USB port, then logout / shutdown.

    (8) to turn on the computer and immediately start typing the key "ESC".

    (9) when the MENU is displayed, press the key "F9" and then select the correct boot UEFI source (CD/DVD drive internal, USB drive, CD/DVD, USB Flash drive, etc.). ... Press any key to start the CD/DVD, if prompted.

    (10) select "Language", "time / currency ' and 'Keyboard' settings and then click"Next ".

    11) click on 'install now '... Check "Accept terms" and click "next". Click on "Custom (Advanced)".

    (12) you may need to provide AMD SATA/RAID drivers at the moment... Download the AMD Chipset Drivers (Chipset / AHCI / USB 3.0)

    (13) follow the instructions and answer all questions as required. Enter a valid Windows 7 when key requested.

    (14) Please install the Windows 7 64-bit drivers following;

    AMD Chipset drivers

Device Manager position "Hardware ID" (text only) for all remaining missing or unknown devices, as shown in the example below.

They are part of the motherboard and I can't IDENTIFY them. I used Speccy to try to get the details of the hardware, but he has not found an audio adapter or Ethernet adapter. guess it's because the drivers are not installed (hope this isn't a motherboard problem).

And if I switch to Windows 8.1 W8 drivers will work?

I can't say yes or no for some because there is no Windows drivers 8.1 available in the download section of the portal support for your laptop.

It would be to identify all devices currently present in the device under Windows 8 Manager and save images or write to them. Otherwise, it would take time to find all or most of the pilots. The most difficult to find is likely to be the switchable graphics driver, if your laptop has this feature. If this is the case, remember and identify the graphics device in Device Manager.

The following illustration shows the most of the elements of important identification before considering the upgrade to Windows 8.1.

  • Pavilion 15-n054tx - difficulty finding drivers

I recently bought a 15-n054tx Pavilion much to my disgust that there windows 8 pre installed on it.

Needless to say, I removed 8 windows quickly and installed windows 7 (I would have installed XP, but support for Micro$ oft recently canned).

I can't for the life of me find the correct drivers for this laptop model. I think I work for the graphic/s card.

But it seems to use the graphics of Intel HD terrible total instead of the NVIDIA card a bit mediocre.

Use only USB 2.0 ports, and I can't seem to find a manafacturer to hunt for identification of reference numbers in the Device Manager.

It is also only features keyboard and trackpad base (no fn keys or the power buttons aren't working)

Also, as an aside, why on earth would the port HDMI permanently bound to the graphics card intel HD?

Only the VGA adapter is bound to the Nvidia card, which defeats the purpose of having a graphics card in the first place.

Unless of course you wanted to go full plebeian and try to play in the dark, it is a computer screen.

I tried the HP customer support online chat, after half an hour of waiting, with no response, I quickly abandoned.

So just to clarify the wall of text:

I need to understand what this computer has in it the material.

I need to acquire the appropriate drivers for the said material.

And I also need to figure out how to 'turn off' graphics intel without the use of power tools.

Also try the USB 3.0 driver directly from Intel.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?AGR=Y&ProdId=3467&DwnldID=22824&keyword=USB+3.0&lang=eng

You can also try this software to see if it gets the Fn keys to work.
