What fact, reset back to factory on my laptop and for some reason, couldn't do split screens... How can she?

  • Pointer to learn how to create the split screen?

    I am trying to create some simple split screen segments where I either two or 4 videos also share space. I moved and cropped clips and they looked good from the tool. However, when I created a final file or downloaded on youtube it looks different. Where the clips looked like they were half/half or quarter of the screen in the tool, now they are clearly not.

  • How to set the lower screen resolution on HP Pavilion

    I'm trying to figure out if its possible to lower my screen resolution of 800 x 600 on my HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 - b010us running on Windows 8. I need to do that; It is the only way that I can get my pico projector to run using VGA to HDMI - I tried it with my Sony VAIO and it works perfectly. The lowest setting that I see on my HP is 1024 x 768, and it does not work. Any help? Don't want to have to buy a new projector - this one works very well and the HP laptop has a VGA port

    I came across this same issue using the resolution option custom in the Intel driver manager and has had success using mode low resolution.  I had also edited the registry to force more options.  The registry change which resulted in several resolutions between 1366 x 768 and 1024 x 768, but nothing lower.  Windows 8 is not really designed for lower resolutions (at least, which is not the ideal targeted resolutions), so I guess that would be present on any standard notebook Windows 8.

    However, I have relevΘ this site today to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything... and it seems that I was.  I don't know how I didn't have to check the option advanced settings for more resolutions.  This approach does not require mode low resolution to restart, but it's going to require a screen resolution > avancΘs > list all modes to get 800 x 600 option each time you need.

    Tiling of your windows is a way to organize your windows on the screen. When you put your windows tiled, Windows XP places each window on the desktop so that no window does not overlap any other window. You can tile windows horizontally or vertically.

    For your windows:

    a. right click on the taskbar. A menu will appear.

    b. click Tile Windows horizontal or vertical mosaic, whatever you prefer.

    Using PE9 I do not see how to have a track on the left of the screen and the other on the right hand in a fixed screen split as horizontal wipe frozen in half way through.

    I wanted to use it to synchronize exactly two pieces of the same material shot with 2 different cameras, different angles and show the interviewer and interviewee on the other.

    If you video is on the video track 1 and the other is on the video track 2, directly above it, you can right-click on each clip and select Show Properties.

    In the properties of each element Panel, open the animated clips and change of scale. (50% is a good place to start.) You can then drag each element in the area of the video image you want it to appear and even to change the properties of the scale.

    As an alternative, you can just apply the effect of cropping for the clip on the video track 2, right-click on it and view the properties and, in the properties panel, set one side of cropping to 50%.

    Or you can combine the Position, scale, and the harvest.

    I'm going away for an extended period of time and let my laptop. However, I intend to connect to my laptop occasionally via a remote access account. In order to keep my computer "connectable", is there a setting I can chance that would have the computer display and a HDD to sleep but not the network? My laptop is going to be plugged in, so I'm not worried about the battery on me dying.

    Is it possible to have the accounts of differnet with different settings for screen resolutions? This is the problem, I have an Aspire that I am connected to my hd tv. This allows me to have a bigger screen, I need. A significant number of games does not work on 800 x 600. My son went through a whole bunch of options to change the resolution so that I can play these games, but all, apart from the games is smaller than a postage stamp.
