Pavilion HPE H9-1130: install the firewire card correctly into the slot of the motherboard correctly

Hello, for my HP Pavilion HPE H9 1130, how to install the correct firewire in the motherboard slot card OK in OS Windows 10 x 64 / x 64 processor? And what video software system can I download to recognize my Panasonic 100a camera AX?

Thank you. Followed your instructions. And it worked perfectly. Thank you. Even if I have Adobe Prem Pro, I downloaded MS Director and put 9 drivers after installing the PCIe card. Then it worked perfectly to capture video from a FireWire camera. Thank you once again!

I'm not familiar with current PC for sale, regarding upgrades.  Since is considered a new HP, try looking at the list of options on the HP website.  Most higher end PC have the options that you choose before buy you, to customize the generation.  Choose a model with options that match your criteria now and notice the upgrade options - write down them - to avoid confusion later.  OR go with a customized version, but this could mean significant spending.  It is the hand off the coast between prebuilts and personalized.

    Schmatrix, welcome to the forum.

The problem you are having, it is that the video card requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released in February 2012.  You must contact the Technical Support of Zotac to see if they have a VBIOS update that will solve your problem.

    Hello

I have a HP Pavillion H9 1130 Phoenix. I installed a new graphics Gigabyte AMD Radeon R9 390 on that card. However, the screen is not detected. Watch the shows (2: digital input in power save Mode). I've updated the BIOS as well, but none of the ideas work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    @Best123456, welcome to the forum.

Your problem is caused by the fact that the R9-390 requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard/Legacy BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  The BIOS may not be upgraded in the UEFI.  The latest maps not requiring UEFI were the GTX 660/670.

Some manufacturers, MSI, for example, make a card with a switch that allows it to use a Legacy BIOS or UEFI.  You must contact their Technical Support to help them choose the best card for your system.

    Shadgam, welcome to the forum.

New after the 640 GT video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of the standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.

I see no reason why the GTS 450 (see card) is not working on your computer.  Your motherboard has a PCI Express x 16 (Gen.2) slot.  You can always call the manufacturer's Technical Support to make sure the card you have chosen will work.

    Hello:

You should see a device labeled network controller listed under other devices in Device Manager if necessary the driver wireless card.

    There is something wrong.

    1. the wireless card needs the HP Connection Manager software installed so it can be activated by using the software, then you should be able to install the driver or the Terminator post will be installed.

    HP connection manager

    File name: sp54945.exe

    2. the wireless card is bad and must be replaced, or must be removed and reinstalled because of an oxidized connection.

    3. the motherboard is bad.

Also install software quick launch to ensure that all Fn keys work correctly.  There's a chance outside that might be the problem, but I doubt it.

  • I installed a firewire card on my pc windows 8 and come to find out that there is no driver available for my Panasonic pv103 dv compatible camcorder.

Since there is no compatable driver with my camcorder and windows 8, I searched online for a usb digital-to-analog converter.  I just realized that I can't find an a d converter that is compatible with windows 8 either (at least at a reasonable price).

I brought the computer to edit video on - and so far I can't.

    Hello

Is the problem with the Firewire card or camcorder?

Whatever it is, you can try to install in Compatibility Mode for an earlier version of windows...

You could also try right click on the Installer (installation-installation-whatever) for the device file problem and select troubleshoot compatibility. Just follow the instructions in the wizard.

No, the GTX 950Ti requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  The last series of video cards that does not need UEFI is the GT of 640.

The NVIDIA GTX 950 requires the motherboard support UEFI and your PC does not have UEFI support.

The NVIDIA GTX 660 should work on your PC when matched with the right kind of food.
