  I talked to my computer man and he knew exactly what she was... Perhaps, it is not in the books of tech but should be. When I plugged the headphones he shorted the plug. All I had to do was open the enclosure & pull the plug for headphones.

• Monitor of 22xi HP Pavilion showing the Green tint on the right side

  I've had my Pavilion 22xi for about 8 months now and everything has been fine until a few days ago when a green tint has appeared on the right side of the screen. A pink ghosting of my web browser can also be seen in the upper right when, on a dark background. I use the monitor as a second monitor connected to a macbook via a connector mini displayport HDMI /. The problem occurs on mac and windows.

  I changed the HDMI cables, checked the connections, reset the monitor to factory settings, read through the HP troubleshooting tips and try the monitor with another computer, but the same problem persists.

  I think there is an error with a monitor, but I wanted to ask if there was anything that I'm missing or a solution before contacting HP support.

  Hi Kojiri, sorry to hear that you are having problems with your screen display. One thing that I know that I had problems with was that I have a subwoofer near the monitor and it caused the screen to change the color. I also noticed a slight change in color when I had my base of wireless phone, sitting on the desk next to the screen.   You did all your Windows updates?

  Did you run HP Support Assistant to check the HP updates for your system?

  Have you checked for virus or malware?

  Other people have used successful Malwarebytes to remove unwanted software.

At the start, I have a black border running down the right side of the page and can not see the taskbar at the bottom. I put in 1280 x 720 resolution to allow access to the bottom task bar. I updated the driver for the display, but this did not remedy the problem. How can I go back to 1280 x 800?

  FIXED! Last series of Microsoft updates have cured the problem. The resolution is now in 1366 x 768 (recommended)!

  I can't think I powered the phone turned off when microsoft have downloaded updates, too bad Microsoft doesn't inform you they do this and then freeze you :-(

• When you use Itunes on my Ipod Touch 5 generation, the Ipod is no longer automatically past from one song to another. This seems to be a novelty. There is a button on the RIGHT side of the upper third of the screen where you can choose options but go n0.

  When you use ITunes on my Ipod Touch 5 Gen, running IOS 9.2, he has recently stopped automatically switch a song on one album to another while listening to ITunes. I discovered a button with 3 points to the RIGHT side of each title of the song which, when typed gives a different options for example then played, add up to the next etc.. If you use these all this seems to get worse with more choices that appear. I know that sounds incredible, but I have owned several Ipods that I use just for listening to music. Mine is a 32 GB version that can store a large number of albums, most of which I bought and loaded into my Ipod. A few albums that I downloaded from ITunes. How can I get it from my Ipod to listen to music in the ITunes application without having to select one of the 55 options?

• Pavilion dv7-4177nr: dv7-4177nr right usb ports not working not

  So I recently bought a used dv7-4177nr, got home, and since it has been used, naturally the first thing I do is restore the system to factory conditions. I don't check the ports for a feature beforehand. Run all Windows updates, get rid of the bloatware and realized, "it would be easier with my mouse wireless." Go to plug in, and the ports on the right do not recognize. No sound of "you hooked something up" or looking for drivers or anything like that. Those on the left are working fine. Windows detects that there is no ports.

  I tried the things:

  Update the BIOS

  chipset drivers of the series AMD 8 (not completely sure that those who have the right ones, but nothing else has blown up or whatever it is)

  Remove the USB drivers from Device Manager and let Windows RE-add-the

  

  The left USB ports are directly on the motherboard and the ports on the right side

  on a removable daughter card.

  You have a slight problem with this - and is that you used the MCO on the microphones, so the buzz level jumps up and down, and it does not at all help.

  I got a reasonable result just by using NR processes, take a sample of all the buzz alone. I put the FFT to 8192, the NR level to 20% and bring back the slider to 6dB - all other default settings (I think). This is not screw with the sound too but out the buzz of reasonably effectively, although the background noise that bounces is now more visible, and you can not solve, I'm afraid - well not without all that its really odd, anyway.
