  To install your Officejet 6310 on your new Touchsmart PC, I highly recommend that you download and run the HP printer installation wizard. This tool will find and download the software for you on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. You can leave the USB cable plugged all the time and that makes things easier as well

  Hi, I just got a pavilion dv2-1030ea as a gift and I want to upgrade the card wireless to a version N (only comes with B and G compatible card), but on some sites, he pointed out that not all wireless mini pci-e cards do work with computers laptops hp.

  is this always true? If so what cards are supported? also if this is the case how can I remove this restriction? IMHO, I should be able to use my computer as I see fit, not how the manufacturer decides is acceptable.

  Hi, here is my problem: I replaced with an external GPU adapter wireless LAN module, I thought that the port Mini PCI-E free, my laptop was able to detect this new GPU adapter, but turns out he didn't, only the Wifi Slot detects it

  I can still use the Ethernet port for internet, but I don't want to lose my wifi connection then the questions are:
  
  This supplement Mini PCI - E port is really a Mini Port PCI - E or is it just a reserved port SSD? they have all both has the same appearance
  If so, is there any adapter out there that can allow me to use this Mini PCI - E instead of just normal port port of SSD?

  I would bet dollars to donuts against this thing work and still think you run a risk of damage to the laptop. The wi - fi connection port is a 1 x pci-e card and video it wants at least a 8 x lane. But if you are happy with it so I am.

  Oh and the port of the WSSD is a unique single-purpose storage connector that you discovered. You will need to get a usb wifi dongle.

  I recently got a new HP Pavilion Touchsmart 15-n210dx and it comes preinstalled with Windows 8.1.  So I wiped and installed Windows 7 Ultimate, but the controller network and ethernet controller have not all drivers.  I've looked everywhere I can think for these drivers, but I can't find them.   My screen is too dark, after that the computer "wakes up" fashion "sleep" I can read only now my face one inch away. Reboot brings the brightness back to normal, only to happen again the next time that the computer sleeps. This has only started happening since the upgrade of Windows 8 to 10 of Windows.

  -There is no brightness slider in power options

  -I have no brightness control on my keyboard

  Please help me solve this problem, so I don't have to go back to Windows 8! Thank you in advance.

  I think I might have made some progress with this problem. I had a friend call me and he suffered from these same questions. The partial solution (and probably most) I've discovered is that there is a critical update of the BIOS that had not been done. Because Windows 10 was already installed, it didn't appear on the page to Support HP or HP update software. The way I had the time it was to say the HP website that I had Windows 8.1. The update then appeared. I downloaded the BIOS for its model was last updated and installed. (BTW: it worked great in Windows 10). Once I've upgraded, the dark screen problem has been resolved. However, as long as the screen saver, night light or auto Hibernate still does not work. You can manually put the computer to sleep via a button or the start menu, and he returned very well. His was an AMD based all-in-one and I don't remember not if someone had problems with the Intel based platforms.

  So, to summarize... If you have not installed 10 still make sure you BIOS update first. If you have goto, the Web site and enter your model. Replace the Windows 8.1 operating system. Download and install.

  If anyone has more of an insight, please answer others to take advantage. Good luck and enjoy Windows 10. And if anyone has a solution for the problem of sleep/sleep/screensaver please respond.
