Pavilon500-C60: HP500-C60 closed when not indexed

When not to use all the entries to the keyboard, the computer will return to the start screen and then stops.

Check the expiration time and the whole longer and the problem remains the same.

Pavilion500-C60

I couldn't locate the connection with the mouse, but found with a search of power options.  I've used the

selection to expire without success but it seemed to be a large assortment of options and chose the max for each.

I didn't determine if helped, but it was in all probability.

  • How can I get Windows 7 to search for locations that are not indexed when I have no indexed locations?

I recently discovered what may be a bug or a serious error in the Windows 7 search engine, I'm not really sure of that.  Heck, it could be just that the options are formulated in a misleading way, and I don't realize.  Anyway slice you it, I have no sites indexed on my PC, or what I want, and I get no search results either.

My settings are, AFAIK, set up so that Windows Search will search by file names and content regardless of whether the location of the research is indexed but except if it is indexed it returns no result.  As a concrete example, I have a folder with 701 files it contains.  Of these 700 more than 400 files contain the letter 'C' in the name of the file.  When the folder is indexed, they appear in a search.  When the folder is not indexed appear not at all.

So, how to get Windows 7's search in unindexed locations?  I rarely use the search engine, in particular because it feels and is that it now seems to be, a massive downgrade on XP, but I still need it from time to time and I prefer not to index my PC just because Windows 7 will not search non indexed sections of my drives as it's a waste of given how little system resources I need to use it.

HM, this is regrettable.  Something to try...

Open the Indexing Options Control Panel, choose Advanced Options and click [Rebuild], which is supposed to remove and rebuild the indexes.  With the indexing service off, I could imagine that it would remove whatever remains of an index, you can have but not rebuild.  Which perhaps honest to the operation 'search the doomed drive already' goodness.

I go through this process when I disabled indexing, and done, I can search and find things.  Keep hope; It can work.

  • Not indexed Word documents PDF

I am using the trial version of Acrobat X to convert PDF documents to Word DOC file format.  I found that the result is not picked up by the Indexing Service in Windows Server 2003.  However, if I convert to a RTF document instead, the result is indexed.  If I convert to a DOC format and then rename the file with an extension of RTF file, the document is indexed.  Can anyone provide all understand why this happens?  It also seems to be a problem with other tools of conversion to PDF by other suppliers, but not all.  Any help is appreciated.

If you talk specifically about exporting (Word 2003 and earlier versions) DOC instead of DOCX format, then this is a consequence of the way in which non-Microsoft applications write files.

DOC files can be binary (format actually saved by Word) or a RTF file text with just a change of the file extension. As the binary format is owner and closed, when Acrobat saves to 'DOC' in fact, it saves a RTF file and change the name. Word is perfectly happy with that, but some applications may get annoyed when the contents of a file isn't exactly "corresponds to" its file extension.

  • HotSync: Palm Desktop by ACCESS must be closed when running HotSync?

I just got this Centro by Verizon two days ago.  I realized that Centro or Palm Desktop is updated if the Plam desktop is open or running.  If I close the Desktop and HotSync application, then the Centro and the office are updated.

Is this a bug?  Or I have to change some set up or something?  The previous version of the Office Plam and Tungsten T obtain upated if the application is running or not.   I wish that the operation of the previous version.  Information, ideas, or comments on this would be appreciated.

Older versions of palm desktop saved data after you he entered the office. Palm Desktop 6.2 does not have this feature, whenever you put data in palm desktop 6.2 it does not save data until you click on save and then get out of the Office of palm. This is the reason why you can not sync with palm desktop, open any data that has not been registered would theoretically not sync, so to keep him from causing any problems or missing data, it is designed to be closed when HotSync.

If you need this functionality, you will need to go back to an older version of palm desktop.

You probably need SGA more because you have a lot of Parallels/slave servers in your instance. I see that you have at least 146. How many processors do you have? Do you need so many parallel servers?

  • Choice of index when 2 index have similar columns

Long after, in summary: I a table with 2 indexes, col1, col2 and col3, col1, col2. If I run a query provides values for col1 and col2, I expect the index of the 2 column to use, but it is not. I'm guessing that the optimizer based on CSSTidy based his decision on the value of avg_data_blocks_per_key as the cost for table is different in each query. But it is not (completely?) holding account of how this will change when the index columns is excluded:

It is possible to add an indicator of index in the code, but I don't like this as a matter of course, and when I do not understand what makes the optimizer.

Now follows the details of the table and the index.

USER_INDEXES, showing differences expected in AVG_DATA_BLOCKS_PER_KEY
Note statistics recently gathered on CX02 to see if that makes a difference, I get more temporary space to do this about the CX03, after that, I expect the leaf_blocks & distinct_keys to ~ 50% higher about the CX03. The differences are pretty near what I expected however, CX03 is almost unique and feel the two clusters.

I don't think you said what version of Oracle, but it looks like 10 gr 2.

Note that the second plan calculates the cost of index and lines and the cost of the table based on an estaimate of 14 lines - that the optimizer has drifted through the value of distinct_keys for the index. Oracle can do because the predicates you have are an exact match for the index it uses. However, when calculating the cardinality of the table he "forgets" the cardinalilty of the index and applies the old 'product selectivity' algorithm for two columns.

For the first plan, however, the columns are NOT an exact match for the index definition, then Oracle uses the product of column selectivity to work all the costs and cardinalities - in this case to give a much lower cardinality on the scan of the index systematic range as well even if the index is more fat low cost and it also gives a much lower cost than access the table. In this case the difference in actual work done is not huge - it's basically the analysis of range index greater impact, although different order in which you collect the rows in the table could have various side effects in a more complex query. (Of course the difference in cost for this step could cause dramatic differences in the execution plan for a query more complex.)

11 g (same release 1) the optimizer uses the values of the exact index distinct_keys in two sets of calculations, and it will follow the cardinality of the table using the same calculation of distinct_keys. As a side effect of the upgrade, you can find a lot of change because the execution plans (following the example given), the cardinality of the table estaimtes can increase sgnificantly - a factor of almost 5 in the example.

Update: I forgot that I had written the basic problem on my blog a few years ago: http://jonathanlewis.wordpress.com/2008/03/11/everything-changes/

  • LiveCycle Management 9 rights-protected files are not indexed?

Hi all, I have a question, LiveCycle Management 9 rights-protected files are not indexed?  is this true?

    Kind regards.

When you create a strategy, one of the properties that you set determines what is encrypted when the policy is applied to a document.  You can set it to...

    1. Encrypt the entire file, which means that the document could not be searched\indexed as all the content of the document, including the meta data in an encrypted state.
    2. Encrypt the document except meta date, which means that the document can be searched\indexed based on metadata as it is NOT encrypted
    3. No encryption, which means that the document, including the meta data is not in an encrypted state and can therefore be searched\indexed.

    I hope this helps.

  • Find foreign keys are not indexed

    Hello world

did anyone out there has a sql script that learns the foreign keys of a table are not indexed?

I was going to write a sql for it, but then I thought that someone somewhere must have written before...

    DB: 10gR 1 and R2

    Thks

This sql is courtesy of the asktom.oracle.com site.

To find the script you find «unindexed foreign keys»

When you run it, it will generate a report such as:

    SQL > @unindex

    STAT... TABLE_NAME COLUMNS COLUMNS
    ======== ============ =========== ========
    APPLICATION_INSTANCES AI_APP_CODE
    OK EMP DEPTNO DEPTNO

The * in the first line shows me that I have a foreign key that is not indexed in the APPLICATION_INSTANCES table. Ok in the second row shows me that I have an EMP table with a foreign key indexed.

    Hi mweedn!

I understand that you see a reduction in the battery of your iPhone 5s after updating to iOS 10. It is important to be able to make full use of your iPhone! There are a few resources that can help.

Before the resolution of the problem, were you able to view information using your battery on your iPhone? Here's how to check the amount of battery used by each application:

On the use of the battery on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

When you answer, remember to let us know if you see all the apps with an abnormal amount of battery. See you soon!
