Payment of VAT calculated on invoice in AR

Hello world

We calculated the tax on our bills for the first time (previously zero side element have been purchased).

Our entry is as follows:

Dr. claims 150000

Sales of 100000 CR

Tax CR 50000

It is the tax on outputs and payable to the Government.

What is the best practice to pay this tax? If it is paid AP module?

Grateful if someone can guide us. Thanks in advance.

Concerning

MSA

Hello

You can use the two AP or ar

AP:

GL, determine the amount to be paid (because if it comes to TVA you will produce and tax on inputs):

DR Tax 50000

Account temporary CR 50000

Enter an invoice from supplier Government:

DR Clearing account 50000

Responsibility for CR 50000

Pay the Bill:

Responsibility of DR 50000

CR Bank 50000

For the AR:

GL, determine the amount to be paid (because if it comes to TVA you will produce and tax on inputs):

DR Tax 50000

Account temporary CR 50000

Enter a different receipt of payment:

DR Clearing account 50000

CR Bank 50000

Hope this helps,

Octavio

  • Oracle AP - one payment is possible without an invoice

    Hello

    In Oracle Apps AP, a payment may be made without invoice?
    Or, for a given payment, an invoice ' ' will always exist? Payments can be made by mistake without invoices? If so, what table lets us know that a payment is a bill the code to him.

    I checked the table of ap_invoice_payments_all, there are as many pay-lines, but for each row, there is an Invoice_Id.

    Thank you
    Bob

    Hi Bob,

    in accounts payable for oracle module, payment can be made without an invoice... Whatever the nature of the payment, the pre-request is to have a Bill in a status released for payment. Oracle justifies this restriction as a best practice of Business...

    Therefore,.

    (1) for a given payment, there will be an invoice (if not an actual Bill at least a fictitious invoice would be registered in the system)
    (2) cannot be paid by mistake without Bill...

    The ap_invoice_payments_all table is the right one for the control of the relationship of the invoice and the payment... you do not see a payment without a related Bill... .Hence, your comment is just...

    A type of invoice exists in Payables for business scenarios very currents...

    For the normal invoice = invoice vendor Standard is created
    For an employee expense report fresh = invoice report is created / imported
    For a penalty interest = interest invoice is created by the system
    Advance payment = payment invoice is created
    For a refund to the customer = payment request invoice is created by the system...

    Kind regards

  • Difference between Date of invoice and Date GL accounting Date Oracle AP

    Hello

    I have a question that might help a lot of people too late.
    I tried to run these queries
    Select aia. INVOICE_ID
    of AP_INVOICES_ALL aia, aida AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL
    where aia. INVOICE_ID = aida. INVOICE_ID
    and aia. INVOICE_DATE <>aida. ACCOUNTING_DATE

    Select aia. INVOICE_ID
    of AP_INVOICES_ALL aia, aida AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL
    where aia. INVOICE_ID = aida. INVOICE_ID
    and aia.GL_DATE <>aida. ACCOUNTING_DATE

    I see that there are a lot of results for these queries, where the Date of the invoice is not equal to the posting date and of the GL_Date of an invoice does not match the posting date in the distribution table.
    So, what is the difference between these dates.
    And if I had to take the date of posting of the invoice of the document, the date on which I have to take for these invoices in AP

    Thank you
    Bob

    Hello

    Date of GL:

    The date used to determine the right time of accounting for the transactions of your invoice and payment of GL. You assign a GL Date on your invoice during invoice entry
    and your payments during the creation of payment.

    Date of invoice:

    The invoice date that you assign to an invoice, you enter in Payables. Accounts payable uses this date to calculate the invoice due date, the terms of payment of the invoice. The invoice date may be the date of the invoice, or it can be another date that you specify.

    Posting date:

    The GL Date for distributions of the invoice. If you do not enter a value here or enter a value for GL Date when you submit Payables Open Interface Import, accounts payable will allocate a GL Date based on the GL Date set in the region of the invoice of the Payables Options window.

  • ID of the seller, last updated, the invoice detail - query

    For each vendor, we would like to know the ID of the seller, vendor number, vendor name, site code of the vendor, Date created, Date of last update, last invoice date, last payment date, total number of invoices and the total amount of the invoices for each vendor.
    (1) how to find the last category of date and payment provider?
    (2) as I use sum (invoice_amount), count (invoice_amount), max (payment_date) that link to 3 different tables, I know not how to use ' group by ' based on the Vendor_id alone while I select many different table fields. Could you please help me with this?
    (3) Please help me get this fixed query.

    If you are interested by provider type classification, you can find it in vendor_type_lookup_code of po_vendors.

  • Report no aggregation not correctly. What Miss me?

    I write a report in BI Publisher on the date that a purchase has been paid, net of the due date see how good we paid 1-30 days late, 31-60 and 61-90 days late a good purchase. I wrote successfully an expression in PS query to generate the number of days to the end (or beginning), its own column in the query.

    PS Query results:
    Vendor ID - name of the seller - many - good payment - Date - time - calculation
    0000012 ABC Supply---0000000214---$2,456.23---12/20/2012---12/10/2012---10

    Now I have a RTF model which has the ID of the vendor, the vendor name and 4 columns with conditions. The four columns all use the sum of the amount of the voucher. The first 4 columns has a State indicating if the calculation is between 1 and 30, then the amount of the sum, the second has a condition that says that if the calculation is between 31 and 60, then the amount of the sum. And so on.

    I have a loop of repetition on the ID of the seller, because I don't want to show 1 row for each provider, but then want to summarize all the voucher amounts and place them in the right-hand columns based on the number of calculation.

    What I get is 1 row by seller (I like), but that's only looking at the first line for this provider in the query results, then put the sum of all the supporting documents for this vendor in the column that corresponds to the forefront for this provider.

    For example, if the seller 0000012 was 50 checks totaling $150,000 his investment of $150,000 to the title of the column from 1 to 30 (because the calculation is 10) I had the installer, instead of looking at each exhibit and adding it to its correct column.

    How can I get 1 row by seller and get all the appropriate amounts to be placed in the correct column based on the calculation? I hope I've provided enough information. Hoping to provide screenshots, but there is no place for me to download. Thanks in advance.

  • In-depth accounting application

    Hi all

    Hi all

    Thank you for your time in advance. I created a challenge for myself by myself and need some sort of solution.
    Accounting requires that the payment be recognized during the month when transportation is provided, not when the actual payment was made. E_MONTH of FAC_SUMMARY is SERVICE_MONTH.
    Line of the company of the company and its activities tends to identify the accounting principles. Payment is completely irrelevant but included to see the differences in methodology. Payments in the FAC_PAYMENTS table should only be added to the F_ID level and then assign to the FAC_SUMMARY E_MONTH.
    Fields (HIST_PAYMENT, HIST_BALANCE_AFTER_PAYMENT, HIST_BALANCE, PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE) described on OUTPUT should be generated before determining the payments.
    This is a portal for F001.
    F001 has a total 53 000 payments. These payments must allocate FAC_SUMMARY F001s positive PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE to any E_MONTH.
    For example:
    @ 2010-11-01
    BALANCE = 10 000
    HIST_BALANCE = SUCCESSFULLY BALANCE since it is the first month, 0 + 10 000 = 10 000
    = PAYMENT must be CALCULATED = 10 000
    HIST_PAYMENT = SUCCESSFULLY BALANCE since it is the first month PAYMENT = 10 000 =
    PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE = PAYMENT 10 000 HIST_BALANCE-HIST_PAYMENT = 0-10 000 = 10 000

    @ 01/12/2010
    BALANCE = - 5000
    HIST_BALANCE = BALANCE ACCUMULATED, 10000 +-(5000) IS 5 000
    PAYMENT = 0 bcz PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE is 5, 000
    HIST_PAYMENT = ACCUMULATED BALANCE 10 000 + 0 = 10 000
    PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE = HIST_BALANCE - HIST_PAYMENT = 5 000-10 000 = - 5 000

    @ 01/01/2011
    BALANCE = 5000
    HIST_BALANCE = BALANCE ACCUMULATED, 10000 + (-5000) + 5 000 = 10 000
    PAYMENT = 0 bcz PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE is 0
    ACCUMULATED BALANCE = 10 000 + 0 HIST_PAYMENT 0 PLUS 10 000
    PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE = HIST_BALANCE - HIST_PAYMENT = 10 000 - 10 000 = 0

    @ 01/04/2011
    BALANCE = 40000
    HIST_BALANCE = ACCUMULATED BALANCE, 10000 + (-5000) + 5 000 +-(20000) + 3000 + 40000 = 33 000
    PAYMENT = 23 000 bcz PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE is 23,000
    HIST_PAYMENT = ACCUMULATED BALANCE 10 000 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 10 000
    PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE = HIST_BALANCE - HIST_PAYMENT = 33 000 - 10 000 = 23 000

    HIST_PAYMENT can never be greater than the TOTAL of PAYMENTS in FAC_PAYMENTS.
    There may be any negative payment however; carrries before negative balance in HIST_BALANCE.
    Please note that any activity besides BALANCE 0 months > SYSMONTH-4.
    Please let me know if I can provide any more detail.

    Explain exactly how fac_payments is used in this problem. I think I have good results for this sample data wihout using fac_payments at all.

    Fields (HIST_PAYMENT, HIST_BALANCE_AFTER_PAYMENT, HIST_BALANCE, PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE) described on OUTPUT should be generated before determining the payments.

    Why? I seems to have gotten good results of calculation of payments prior to hist_payment or balance_due_payment. In the new release, there is no column of hist_balance_after_payment.

    Of course it must be calculated. The question is: how is calculated.

    HIST_PAYMENT = SUCCESSFULLY BALANCE since it is the first month PAYMENT = 10 000 =
    PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE = PAYMENT 10 000 HIST_BALANCE-HIST_PAYMENT = 0-10 000 = 10 000

    @ 01/12/2010
    BALANCE = - 5000
    HIST_BALANCE = BALANCE ACCUMULATED, 10000 +-(5000) IS 5 000
    PAYMENT = 0 bcz PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE is 5, 000
    HIST_PAYMENT = ACCUMULATED BALANCE 10 000 + 0 = 10 000

    I do not understand / balance figures at this stage of 10,000 and * 5 000 * (not 0).

    PAYMENT_DUE_BALANCE = HIST_BALANCE - HIST_PAYMENT = 5 000-10 000 = - 5 000
    ...

    It's not pretty, but it gets the results you requested:

    I suspect that I get some of these numbers in a very round way point and could do better if I understood better business requirements.

  • bi weekly loan using the HP 10bII calculator payments +.

    Hello

    Can someone explain to me please how to calculate bi weekly loan using the HP 10bII calculator payments +.

    Here is an example from real life:

    5.49% annual interest rate,

    loan of $35420,33,

    6 years,

    the payment should be $266,74,

    but I don't know how to do this.

    Thanks for your help.

    Andrew

    Hello

    Weekly payments = 26 paid annually.

    26 the value paid per year:

    26 OrangeShift P/YR (on PMT key)

    Now enter data & colon;

    5.49 press I / YR

    -PV-press 35420.33

    26 * 6 = press N (26 payments per year * 6 years, the result, 156 will be stored n)

    0 press FV (just to be sure that FV is set to 0)

    Now press on PMT and it will show 266,74

    Don't forget P/YR will remain at 26 until you enter a new value or reset the calculator (clear all does not reset it, but will remind you the current value).
