PC airtime late (itunes)

Years, I have been using a combination of 2 apple tv 3rd generations, express from the airport 1 Apple and 1 speaker Sony Airplay as a surround sound system throughout the House which is streamed (airplay) from my PC running ITunes. It worked fine on the wired environments and wireless.

I have now bought an apple TV 4th Gen 32 GB to add to my set-up. When everything was hooked and I was sending music through airplay to all my speakers, I noticed a slight delay in the sound from my new apple tv gen4. It is about 0.5 to 1.5 seconds. Enough to drive a man crazy.

I talked to apple who directed me to contact my internet service provider and company of router to provide a list of some ports tcp/uvp were open. We even put my apple tv on DMZ, after a few attempts to make it work. After a few trials with this set-up, resets and restores the factory, it seems that the problem lies in connecting to my tv system and audio. The Apple tv Gen3 has a toslink (optical) connection to run audio. I had a single HDMI cable to the tv and the toslink to my stereo amp. The Gen4 apple tv has only a HDMI cable. So now this HDMI connects to my tv, then the toslink connects my TV to my stereo. Hang my older model apple tv through this method also causes the delay. I also have the wrong using only an audio/video cable normal between tv and stereo with no luck. Unfortunately, my stereo is a former model, so it is not possible to run the HDMI on the stereo first. Another is confusing, it's that if I load a video on the apple tv via Netflix or itunes GEN4, there is NO delay in the sound. It seems that this is all streaming from my PC. Apparently, the Apple team works there and goes back to me this week, but I was hoping that someone out there is having a similar problem. Your help is appreciated.

FINALLY. I found a resolution.

After Googling 'HDMI audio delay', I made a page on a Phillips TV. My tv is a Samsung, but thought it was worth a shot.

There is a setting in my audio settings TV called "SPDIF OUTPUT." In this category is has an audio delay setting. It is automatically set to 100. Reduced to zero, it makes the noise line up perfectly. I can now walk between each room in my house, garden and garage, listening to the same incredible tunes. Google has saved me once more. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I feel that I learned a LOT about all the possible sounds setting in apple tv and my tv.

See you soon.

  • Cannot find itunes on my windows 10 pc game

my Vista PC is dead and no way to recover the files so don't want to download my iTunes on my new computer game library. However I don't see any way to activate iTunes on my windows 10 pc game

    Hi there raysincar,

Looks like you need to activate iTunes on your new computer game. This section of the following article should help you to do:

Use iTunes on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch game or your computer

On a Mac or a PC

If you use iTunes 12.3 or later, iTunes game turns on automatically the first time that you connect to iTunes on a new computer with the Apple ID you use for iTunes game.

If you need to manually activate iTunes game, change your music to iCloud library settings by following these steps:

    1. Open iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version.
    2. Click Connect and enter the Apple ID and password you use for iTunes game.
    3. Mac: In the MenuBar at the top of your computer screen, choose iTunes > Preferences.
Windows: Press control and B on your keyboard to activate the iTunes menu bar, then choose iTunes > Preferences. Learn more about the menus in iTunes for Windows.
    4. Click the general tab, and then select the music library to iCloud.

After have connected you with the Apple ID and password you use with iTunes game and turn on iCloud music library, iTunes is and post your library. You can monitor the progress of the correspondence and the download in the upper-right corner of iTunes, and you can suspend and resume the process at any time.

When iTunes is finished, your music matched and transferred appears in iTunes in the My Music tab. A download icon will appear next to all content that is in your music library to iCloud and not on your computer.

  • iTunes game duplicates (after re-download songs without DRM)

    Hello

I recently signed up for iTunes game to upgrade all the pieces purchased between 2003 and 2009, which were laced with DRM (digital rights) and unplayable on my SONOS system. After the Match has completed its process, I found that a lot of songs have been duplicated in my iTunes library, see the attachment.

I read on this Forum that the answer is simple: simply remove the redundant tracks, which I am ok to do (even if it's a lot of work...). But my question is: WHICH of the 2 I should delete the iTunes library? Those with the little cloud + Basel icon (kind = "purchased AAC audio file"), or those without the icon ('audio file AAC matched')?

This is iTunes on an iMac with OS X Yosemite.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    PL

It is unusual that iTunes could correspond to files that have been purchased through iTunes. Most of the time all your purchased tracks should have already been available for download on high without DRM sampling rate and should not count toward the limit of your correspondence. The only ones who * would * match would be albums that have been deleted after having bought and added later, iTunes library may be an another aggregator or etiquette or reissue.

Files without the icon are real which exist in your library. Those with the icon cloud is in the cloud. I guess what's happened here is that you have the original version of cloud when you bought the files and now you have matched the actual downloads therefore to new versions of the albums in the cloud. If the bit rate is the same (not precise in your screenshot above), then I would like to delete the corresponding versions because I would not count towards the limit of my game files that are already offered to me to my iTunes purchase history. This is just one example where iTunes has replaced the versions of these files that you have purchased with other versions on the store.

  • iTunes late development and scale of problem

I recently downloaded iTunes a few days ago. The program runs very slowly and in the iTunes store my cursor is not properly calibrated. The screen itself is also cut makes it difficult to navigate the store, especially combined with the slow performance.

I tried to reinstall and other attempts to solve without success. I have a decent laptop, so this isn't a problem.

Anyone else knows this or know of a fix? Thank you!

These errors are usually the result of the use of the Windows options for expanded fonts with which iTunes does not work with or scaling the DPI. Try to set these default/100% and see if the problem with iTunes disappear. It will not help if you need to use these features for best results in other software, but at least she will confirm here the rub.

As for the late development, it can help to make a complete tear down and rebuild, as described in the second box of troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates. Excluding the iTunes folder of any AV real-time, tests can also help.

  • The iTunes store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later.

The following error, which never happened to me before, started happening to me on the afternoon of 2016-06-02:

The iTunes store cannot process the purchases at the moment, please try again later.

The above error happened on my iOS iPhone 6s 9.3.2 running and my PC Windows 10 (fully patched) as soon as I tried to download some applications updated via the 'Update' tab on the iTunes Apps 12.4.0.119 page.

Since it has * NEVER * happened before * AND * it happens on two different devices using two different networks, I hope it is a temporary problem with the Apple servers.

    1. everyone knows of this issue before?

2 - is a question related to the Apple server that had nothing to do with your devices?

    3. how long took for Apple to fix their server so that you can resume the download of applications (news or updates to existing ones)?

There are a lot of posts on this subject, iCloud and stores are down - keep an eye on this page for when it is fixed: https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

  • The superdrive in my iMac (21.5, late 2009) refuses to mount new audio CD. It is very good with cds that have already been imported into iTunes and Ditto DVD. But the new CD is ejected, which means that I can't add anything to my music library on a cd.

The superdrive in my iMac (21.5, late 2009, running OSX 10.10.3) refuses to mount new audio CD. He sees the cds, which have already been imported into iTunes (12.3.2.35) and same DVD. But new (IE back to the computer) cds are ejected, which means that I can't add anything to my music library on a cd. Any help would be appreciated!

First try to reset the SMC & LANDAU 2 - 3 times back to back by LANDAU and Intel iMac SMC resets with all devices disconnected.

If that does not resolve the problem, go to your local office supply store and get a CD/DVD cleaning kit and use it. If this does not work, then the SuperDrive is end of life and should be replaced. Many users with iMacs older everything just get external DVD readers, if you need to do this, I recommend you contact OWC (www.macsales.com) and they can direct you to one that fits your needs.

You should be able to get the latest compatible version of the app Apple Podcast and other apps too:

From when iOS 7 was released, Apple can now download the latest compatible version of some applications (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

It is unclear what you are asking, but if the question is (retired), the can transfer songs that are on an iPod nano (and nowhere else) to my current computer?

You cannot use iTunes.  By design, iTunes sync is generally in one direction, from your computer to the iPod.  The exception is purchased songs on the iTunes Store, iTunes can verify ownership of these songs (command in the menu bar iTunes -> devices-> transfer purchases of [name of the iPod] file).  However, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like 'the ipod transfer', you should get a few links, including a CNET article.

Once the files of the song on your disc, you can add them to your current iTunes library.
