  You forgot to tell us what equipment you wireless network card use, but it would seem that if you have installed this, you have not installed the drivers for it or the wireless card does not work. Normally, you don't need to go through all the steps you listed to join an existing wireless network. All you need to do - if your wireless desktop network card does not click on your wireless network and enter the encryption key to connect. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Recent changes to your computer
  • What you have already tried to solve the problem

  It's good to hear - it means that the monitor is OK and that it is compatible with Vista.  It is still unclear on the video card or the motherboard on the computer (or any other problem this computer might have) = but one step at a time.  You have made great strides and ruled out several possible causes that we must now check or test.

  What is the EXACT error message you are getting (Word for Word)?  Which is the key to product, the manufacturer, brand, model and serial number or your computer (I assume it's using the original video card)?  What i the manufacturer, brand and model of the new monitor?

  Even if you could get the Microsoft drivers (which I don't think you can), you should take them to the device manufacturer or the manufacturer of the computer, if they moved on the computer.  They are likely to be more current and have fewer problems.  And you want drivers, firmware and software necessary or required by the device (they will be either the list which is available or you can ask for help and they should direct you to what you need).  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you shouldget to the monitor, the video card and the motherboard and all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   Your post says that someone is trying to connect 'on' your iPhone 6 - have - they possession of the phone or they try to connect your Apple from another device ID?

  Note also that there are a number of phishing scams that send e-mails that appear to come from Apple, but are not current. Do not use any links in these emails if you are not.

  If they are trying only to log in instead of sign in successfully it would be not necessary to change your password. However, you can consider on for Apple ID - Apple Support two-factor authentication or frequently asked questions about check in two steps for Apple ID - Apple Support (if available) for more security.

  9.3.3 isn't the latest version of the software for your phone or your Apple TV.

  Try the following steps for the Apple TV 4, check if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

  1. Restart the Apple TV (settings > system > restart).
  2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
  3. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
