PC build issues - first - AE - Dynamic Link - 5 d

Dear Adobe community,

-HI-

I found this a time ideal for introducing me to this community already with a number of Questions:

I am currently trying to get a PC built for my - just arrived - CS5 MC.

Since I am originally a passionate editor and AE enthusiast, having worked for Studios where I never had to worry about hardware problems,

I am not well versed with the material.

Now I am decided to leave offices and try it on mine. (with the help of some great people)... exciting times
-image-videos, music videos, commercials and sport-clips, etc.

Looking through this Forum and read carefully all items (thank you all, especially bad!) and discussions, I still have a few open questions, I want to address:

My Budget is about €3000 (Yes, all the prices that I know are in €, sorry.)

The first few future projects will be shot with a canon 5 D M2

Max length: 3-12 Minutes

Max V tracks: first: 5 (atm, perhaps more future projects)
Max AE layers: a lot

possibly using dynamic links in the first lot.

outputs: Blu - Ray, web, DVD, flash

So what I currently intend:

1.) CPU: i7 950, 3, 06 GHz quad €294

2.) MB: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R (Rev. 1.0) €206

2.) are there better alternatives / cheaper?

3.) CPU Cooler: SCYTHE kabuto 120 x 120, €45
, 3.) bad idea? any other suggestions?

4.) 12 GB of RAM: Corsair Dominator 6x2Go €340
4.) is sufficient to start and perhaps upgrade later or should I go for 24 immediately where AE can be hungrier?

5.) GPU: PNY Quadro 4000 / evga GTX 480 superclocked / evga GTX €470 930 --272€ € 565

The 4000 is officially supported and expensive like nothing else, also read somewhere in this Forum that there is no advantage there is more-->

The GTX 480 seems to get the best results PPBM (with the 'hack'? with the latest CS5?) and is almost half the price

so I could save money for RAID or a Vespa

The 470 is listed as certified, much less expensive, but it will slow down my workflow compared to the above 2?

5.) open to any input on the matter!

BD - R 6.) SATA PLEXTOR PX-BD940SA 230

+ a DVD-ROM

I heard about LG is not not very reliable and the Plextor seems a good alternative.

7.) POWER SUPPLY: CORSAIR TX 950W - €141

8.) RAID RAID or not? and a more?

I have read and tried to understand everything that has been said on this subject and I am always powerless.

My intention is to get a

C: 300 GB Velociraptor for Windows 7 Professional and a

D: 1 TB Barracuda for images/pictures, sounds etc (+ perhaps project files?) (<-taken from my current computer = €0)

I have a 500 GB LACIE for my private affairs and a 1 to LACIE for backups and Archives.

with the CoolerMaster HAF - X 6 x 3.5 "Slots so I if I'm not mistaken, I have 4 locations for:

4 single Discs / 2 x 2discs RAID0 / 1 x RAID5 4discs
It will be fairly simple to start with discs for the different scratch disks and opt for a RAID later

or are there any suggestions for a good and affordable RAID configuration.

Sorry to bother with this old question, but I couldn't get specific information, I really understood from reading who revolves around this topic, especially for my current needs / specifications of the project.

So:

I look forward to the comments and suggestions and I am grateful for any tips and ideas.

Thanks and greetings of the Austria

Felix

  • After Effects Composition does not load first sequence (dynamic links)

I have a MacPro Late 2013 OSX Yosemite, with 32 GB of RAM and XEON E5, Adobe CC 2015. I work with After Effects using Dynamic Link first. I am dynamic linking first footage in After Effects. My problem is that the sequence bound will not drop on my Composition, effects after. The really strange thing is, I can reboot the system open After Effects you deposit the sequence in the composition, then I can't fall more, I get the circle with a line through it telling me I can't. So I can drop a sequence in my composition every reboot. I really want to work this way as it takes forever. I erased the media cache.

I work with 1280 x 720, 60 frames per second video captured with a Panasonic camera.

    Thank you

  • First pro dynamic links

Usually, when I have dynamic links to audition and save and return to the first he recorded my files in my project folder im working from.

Something has changed and they record, if I move the files in the project folder it stuffs up the first wanting to reconnect all...

If I save directly to my desired folder I have to import these files in the first, frustrating me

Any ideas what I can do. ?

Premiere Pro / file / project settings / Captured Audio - change the folder that you want to save in.

  • First-yet Dynamic link option grayed out

I bought the Production Premium CS6, and I'll have to create a player Blu ray in 24 hours.

First, the send to menu is still grayed out (Yes, I selected the editing window)

First import is dimmed in again.

I have updated since a test version, if that counts!

    Thank you

reinstalled from the original disc (not the downloadable image file), everything works fine... strange :)

  • Strange export - dynamic link problem and export right

    Hello

Straight inside... When I try to encode my calendar nested in MPEG 2 DVD, weather via Media Encoder, Export from the first, or dynamic links with again, it gets a quarter turn through the encoding process and then stops... programs froze, the process still going, but nothing happens... I left on for 8 hours just to be sure, but without success...

The nested sequence, I'm trying to export is one of the 2 sequences nested within the same project. The nested sequence 1 sequence, exports perfectly nested 2 not so much... I checked the settings of the sequence, I created a new sequence and copied the files of my nested sequence edited, but not luck... No file seems to be corrupted... etc etc...

    About the project:

    • Creative Suite CS5.5
    • It was a session of multi cam, where I have synced all clips in a sequence, nested the and then edited the sequence nested in multiple camera monitor.
    • This is nothing new for me, after doing that for 8 years with Premiere Pro and still and I've never seen this happen
    • It is a complicated multicamera shoot, which was extremely time consuming to change, so I hope that I not come to zero...
    • I turned on 1920 x 1080 25 p

    Thank you in advance,

    Tim

I don't do much multicam, but your rendering stops on the same frame in the timeline each time?  If so, I would like to start looking at this particular picture my scenario.  If possible, change a mount point to the place of boredom (or something) and see what happens.  May be that you have a corrupt image/clip, then maybe cover with a different move it?

  • Dynamic link questions

    Hey there.

While I imported two clips in Premiere Pro, After Effects (via dynamic link, using AE to pull the clips of the PP), and made some AE work (masked a clip in a bubble of thought in the clip on the other).

Now, I want to bring in the first. I thought I'd go in the first, hit ' Dynamic Link > import After Effects Composition "and import the model I had worked in AE.

First allow me to do that, but as soon as I click on anything after that I imported the model, first plant. I guess that's because I create one stupidly without end loop (PP attempts to access the model of EI, which is referencing clips of PP, which tries to access the model of EI...).

So, short made my pictures on AE, and then import that, how can I get my pictures back in PP?

Right, will move forward in this way.

For now, if you make the files you did all the work in AE and then return in the creation and click the import single export and a model of EI, then you can just do a right click on the original in the first sequence and choose 'replace with clip-> bin' you should be fine...

    hope that helps

  • Dynamic links in the first

    Hello

I saved intros as separate files of AE for the different chapters.

I have a first file with several sequences, the first 2 phases of happened when I created a dynamic link and inducted into the Hall of the model of EI for the first and the second chapter. When I try to insert the model through hotlinks to the 3rd chapter, it's always show the model means the last chapter which is intro_10. Means I have 10 files AE for 10 chapters.

I never had this kind of problem and really get confusing for not be able to resolve this issue.

    Clues?

    Thank you.

    'intro_part_1.ae' or 'intro_part_2.ae '.

Don't do it either.  Keep all the comps for a specific project in an AE file.

And do not use any number to the file name either.

The answer here is just not use it the numbers for what.

  • Is best approach dynamic link to building/integration of AE for PP TV Master title sequences?

I'm trying to create my first pilot TV with Premiere Pro and After Effects using low converted 4 k 29.97 29.97 P-1080 for parties full screen which I am now roughly arranged in Premiere Pro. I'd appreciate advice and helpful links, how can I better build title sequences?

Read the comments on the workflow here, I think I start my built in After Effects in 4K 29.97 equivalent title put in place (always find EI definition for this confusion?) then possibly create "a composition in full AE and then import it to PrPro project via Adobe Dynamic Link-> import After Effects Composition...» »

Is that what that sounds right? Any advice/links would be greatly appreciated by this FCP user make the transition during PP/AE. I have Mocha for AE also, but did not explore how make sense three workflow... All the links on that would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks for your input guys. This forum has already proved very useful in the transition from FCP and learning these new tools of big!

    Best,

    Mr. Workman

AE is obviously awesome titling tool!

When you create your model AE nine, with all of THE settings dialog box is displayed.

Thank you very much. Attached example... (not she can join a section of video to my computer!?)

  • Dynamic link with first/AE problem

    Hello

I need to change a new episode of a show from a previous project. I duplicated time a project of creation and the legacy that is connected via the dynamic link, so I could use as a template. When I opened the first, it's reading the dynamic links of the previous AE project and not double. How can I change my project first double bed from the duplicate project ae?

I hope this makes sense. Any help on this is much appreciated.

    Thank you

    AJ

Please forgive me if I don't entirely understand the question. Looks like you need to replace the AE models original with the models AE AE duplicate would replace you a video clip in the same way.

If EI is editable text patterns and the basic graphics are the same, you should not change anything

  • Dynamic links between the first and truly dynamic hearing?

I am familiar with the function of dynamic link Premiere and After Effects. If I send a clip to EI and edit it, it will update in my first order. But if I make a change of photo in the first edition, it will not update the corresponding hearing project? I'm currently tagging my short film and hoped multitrack recording in Audition, sending back to the Prime Minister and make changes to shot times according to the timing of the music. But he seems to have hearing see my changes in the first, I have to go to "Edit in Audition" again, replacing the original set and all work hearing project I've done so far? To go to the hearing is a sense unique street, until the final mix status?

Or did I miss something in the hearing as a refresh option?

For a little more information, see two posts from CharlesVW in this thread of 2015.2 hearing .  As Steve says, the full dynamic linking is a work in progress, but the feature improves with each version.  However, for things to work correctly, it is important to have corresponding versions of the hearing, first Pro and Adobe Media Encoder.  Unfortunately, it's not as simple as the numbers - the last hearing is 2015.2, last Premiere Pro is 2015.3 and I think later SOUL is also 2015.3.

  • I can't use my options of dynamic links to Adobe first CC for Adobe After Effects CS5 is because the versions are different?

I can't use my options of dynamic links to Adobe first CC for Adobe After Effects CS5 is because the versions are different? I have to use first Cs5?

    Hi Samuel,.

Yes, usable only between the same dynamic link versions products. You can complete rditing and export a first Pro CC and take it to After Effects for further editing, but dynamic linking is not possible in this case.

  • First refuses to re-bind AE clips created with dynamic link

I have several projects created with clips created in After Effects, through dynamic links (that is, by replacing the original by an After Effects composition item). After the upgrade to 2015 CC, these clips appearing offline. When I try to recreate a link to them, first just won't do the job.

That's what's happening: I click with the right button on the composition in offline mode and chose to recreate a link to Media. The Connect dialog box appears. I click on 'Search', and the program correctly detects the project After Effects corresponding to the composition. However, when click on this project, nothing happens, the program remains Oyen.

It does´t if I click OK or directly on the project of EI, first simply does nothing. So far, reissue of links works. I need to recreate a link to these compositions. Any suggestions?

I finally solved it by updating the first and AE. I thought they were already updated, but I was not running the most recent version of AE. That's all!

  • CC 2015 Dynamic Link for AE does not update first

Have a start in 2014 cc, dynamic linked to AE COMP. update to cc2015. When I make adjustments to a conference of related parties in AE, this change does not appear first.

When I click on Edit Original in the first (2015), I was taken to the comp in AE (2015). So the link seems to work, but changes in AE do not appear first

Rendering will not first day timeline to changes in model related.

Is there a way to force the Prime Minister, make a link to the dynamic link?

    Thank you

  • Adobe Dynamic Link or export first and the load in yet?

    Hello

I do some tests on the creation of DVD / Blu - Ray cs6 yet. My video editions are done in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.

Looks like I have 2 ways to send the contents of Premiere Pro in again.

    (1) I can put all my editions in Premiere Pro, then export the entire timeline to a DVD MPEG-2 or MPEG-2 BLU - Ray, then start again a new project and import the video file as a timeline.

    (2) I can finish my editions in Premiere Pro, and then use the Adobe Dynamic Link > Send to options yet. So it is not necessary to export files, because the transcoding task is the task of a reminder.

It is: no benefit from the use of way 1 or 2? Think of the speed to finish the job, is better than the other?

    Choose what you use?

    Thanks for these tips

    Gustavo.

When you do Standard Def on a DVD, I used dynamic links, and it worked fine. But when you use source HD still one) does not support downrezzing for the DVD well and b) many users found issues dynamic linking for Blu - ray.

The Most trouble free options are a) export of PR/SOUL as mpeg2-DVD to DVD and Blu - ray Blu - Ray H.264 and b) separate projects (with separate menus, properly size) for DVD and Blu - ray.
