• Dynamic link problem 5.5.1

  I can't seem to get a dynamic link between AE and PP. I have the Master Collection 5.5.1 on a 2 x 2.26 Mac Pro Quad-Core with 12 GB of RAM.

  Sending a sequence or a model two-way opens the program on the right with a link in the tray or the project. There is just no clips of any kind in the sequence or model.

  Anyone else have this problem or know a way to fix it?

  Operator error. Answered my own question. I haven't used the dynamic links much. It works very well. I was momentarily confused importing a PP vs project a vibrant sequence bound.

  I seem to be getting really reading juddery jaggy when I dynamic bind a sequence in After Effects. Conviviality between premiere and After Effects is quite well. I can jump between the two progs. without any lag or slow down. It's just when I do the necessary color corrections, or VFX stuff, I'll be back in first and the After Effects composition games replaced slow return... very jerky. I get the yellow bar above, who Im with the understanding that he must come back and play in real time. That she doesn't. It is not until I make work area that I can watch the sequence in real time.

  IM at a loss. not sure if this is a setting or what.

  I have an upcoming massive HDV project for a feature length movie, and just trying to solve my problems before that date. Even if I'll encounter you more I'd like to solve those underway.

  I'll upgrade to 12 GB of Ram before cutting HDV, I just upgraded system recently is a new installation as well...

  Needless to say that its a DV film and it should work better I suppose.

  If I understand correctly, you have an AE comp in a sequence of Pr.  In AE, you added the CC and the VFX.  When you return to Pr play the AE comp, you don't get the reading of RT.

  It's normal.  The CC and VFX for EI must be made by AE before coming to PR.  If AE will not be rendered in RT, then Pr will not play the model related to RT

  In PR, the yellow bar does not pass to red because the Pr has no way of knowing what, if anything, was done in AE.  All the Pr never see are images made of EI.  PR, if the size and pace of the computer frame corresponds to the sequence image size and frame rate, then RT reading is theoretically possible.

  1 intent: Im using Photoshop CS5 (PS5) & After Effects CS5 (AE5) to create a DVD for still CS5 (5) menu. I used the 'Film & Video' preset in PS5 do a standard HD x 1080px 1440 image format; who looks the same in AE5. My problem is in the PS5 size "Pixel Aspect Ratio Correction" is the size I want the universal size to be. Its a more elongated version that looks better to me, but works well with HD monitors (as this DVD will play on a computer 17 "laptop).

  Question 1: Is it possible to have AE5 recognize the "aspect ratio pixel correction '' of PS5 and set the parameters of that size in AE5 composition?

  I love my monitors that are be 1920 x 1080. For editing, etc., it does not matter. Size to see all the controls, etc. is nice. The important part is keeping the proportions. Again, first, After Effects do default. When you preview material outside these programs, especially HD, some players (things of sense as Windows Media Player, Quicktime, VLC media player, etc), won't get the proportions provided, particularly when you assign to the 'full screen '. They are likely to play your movie to the size of the screen, and it will depend on what is perhaps the "native resolution" of the screen. Look for the settings of these programs which retains the proportions.

  I am familiar with the function of dynamic link Premiere and After Effects. If I send a clip to EI and edit it, it will update in my first order. But if I make a change of photo in the first edition, it will not update the corresponding hearing project? I'm currently tagging my short film and hoped multitrack recording in Audition, sending back to the Prime Minister and make changes to shot times according to the timing of the music.   For a little more information, see two posts from CharlesVW in this thread of 2015.2 hearing .  As Steve says, the full dynamic linking is a work in progress, but the feature improves with each version.  However, for things to work correctly, it is important to have corresponding versions of the hearing, first Pro and Adobe Media Encoder.  Unfortunately, it's not as simple as the numbers - the last hearing is 2015.2, last Premiere Pro is 2015.3 and I think later SOUL is also 2015.3.

  just a clean installed (windows and adobe CC) since the new AE and PR did not work on this workstation.

  I have 2 problems with After Effects:

  (1) at startup æ freezes on the splash screen. It only works if I do something, like open a window of the browser or by clicking on the start screen, strange but it works.

  If I click on the start screen, a Windows error pops out like he was going to crash, and then disappears, AE starts and runs normally.

  Clearly, I am not confident this procedure and I want to fix this behavior because whenever I just hope that it starts without accidents. Cannot be like this on a production machine.

  (2) I can't restore the soul. By clicking 'queue of the SOUL' does nothing (if SOUL is closed does not even launch it).

  If I send with export > add to the queue or manually import in SOUL the computer, when I start the encoding it stucks on "connection to the server of dynamic links. "and nothing happens (I know it takes a while, but I waited 20 minutes!).

  Already tried to run both programs as an administrator and an alternative, I found in other posts, but without success.

  UPDATE:

  Had a session with Adobe.
  Create a new Windows admin user and reset the AE preferences (drag the folder in "C:/Users / [username] / AppData/Roaming/Adobe/After Effects ') has solved both problems.

  Rating now with the new user or Windows 'Start Menu' and 'Control Center' work... but that's another story!

  I have a problem of AE with Dynamic Link compositions.

  I have Master Collection CS5 installed on a Mac oSX 10.5.8

  When I try, for example, to import into Media Encoder an AE composition happear the window where I should choose the composition, but for a few minutes, stay "Connect to the server of dynamic links" and "unable to connect to the Server Dynamic Link.

  I could never use Dynamic Link since I installed CS5.

  I also tried to create a new admin user and with this new user, it worked, but only for maybe a week... He did it again to say "unable to connect...". »

  Change in preferences, I think, something but I have no idea of what can be, I used without problem Friday night the last time and on Monday morning he quit to work...

  Basically, some aggressive firewall software can block all communication with the dynamic link manager, and you must unlock manually.

  Adobe Creative Cloud (now Yes...)

  This problem is fixed in update fixes after effects CC 2015.3 (13.8.1). This update, available now, can be installed by using the creative Office Cloud app, or by choosing Help > updates within any Adobe application.

  I do some tests on the creation of DVD / Blu - Ray cs6 yet. My video editions are done in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.

  Looks like I have 2 ways to send the contents of Premiere Pro in again.

  (1) I can put all my editions in Premiere Pro, then export the entire timeline to a DVD MPEG-2 or MPEG-2 BLU - Ray, then start again a new project and import the video file as a timeline.

  (2) I can finish my editions in Premiere Pro, and then use the Adobe Dynamic Link > Send to options yet. So it is not necessary to export files, because the transcoding task is the task of a reminder.

  It is: no benefit from the use of way 1 or 2? Think of the speed to finish the job, is better than the other?

  When you do Standard Def on a DVD, I used dynamic links, and it worked fine. But when you use source HD still one) does not support downrezzing for the DVD well and b) many users found issues dynamic linking for Blu - ray.

  The Most trouble free options are a) export of PR/SOUL as mpeg2-DVD to DVD and Blu - ray Blu - Ray H.264 and b) separate projects (with separate menus, properly size) for DVD and Blu - ray.

  I use after Effecs CC and I try to open the file .aep in Adobe Media Encoder CC (for export to MPEG format).  I get an error stating: "Could not connect to Adobe After Effects.  Check that the Aobde After Effects and Adobe Dynamic Link components are installed'.

  I have both AE and SOUL open and running.  In the menu for AE, I have the menu available dynamic links.  However, when you open the file .aep in SOUL I still get this error.

  Make sure that the SOUL and After Effects are updated to the latest version: SOUL CC 7.1 and after effects CC 12.1.  If there is a version mismatch it can lead to problems of dynamic links.

  Recent versions of AE have massive audio rendering problems and of course, this could be a conflict of normal resources with different audio routines running in circles. Just make your EI as a separate WAV audio and add it to your sequence PP.

  What's worse, is that you can never tell what will be ultimately made out of Premiere Pro. Thus, a typical professional workflow to several projects together to finish during the day and batch overnight rendering can cause a catastrophe.

  This is now happening to me also. I've been editing happily nonstop for two months without this problem. The same project even made without problem a few days ago.   Update: has been working through some things with care. Really useful. Looks like it's specific project. Can be exported in single CPU mode. Put up-to-date I've run some additional tests. Older project exports ok.

  Update: as I am with nvidia I downloaded the driver, custom installation selected, checked the box for a clean install. (according to the Adobe support chat)

  Do not click on the "maximum make quality" for the resizing option.

  Currently works for export in 1080. Will try 4 k later but at this point, it seems that the clean install video card driver that he fixed. It's all about a k 4 timeline.
