Yes, it may well be the source of any problems you encounter.

In the future, don't be afraid to create a post long and detailed of what is or is not happening.

Hi, on some sites of adobe muse, when I load, I get a mobile version of the site (on a laptop). I tried to remove the 'phone' and the words after that on the address bar and even cleaned my browser, but the problem still exists. What can be the reason? I am using Lenovo y50... help me please

The y50 Lenovo is a hybrid and that manufacturers are especially ThinkPads, I guess that Adobe sees it as such is why you get the phone display.

However, you can delete the 5876 to get a view of the desktop and all do it muse site

    for example, the home page

change the /phone/index.html to businesscatalyst.com/index.html to see the office... I suppect you forgot the slash so delete/phone phone not only

  • Multiple monitors in the problem. External monitor display full desktop but no video in windows media player.

I plugged a LCD TV to my laptop using a VGA cable. LCD TV display the full desktop.

When I play a video in Windows Media Player video area is not displayed on the LCD screen, the rest all is shown.

When I ran the player VLC video did not show, but when I changed the video option "overlay video output" i.e disabled this option, the video was shown on the LCD.

But there is no option in WMP. How in WMP?

    What is the problem?

    Maryse Agarwal

    not a driver problem

found the solution, I used both the computer laptop lcd and the external monitor

When I went just outside, he played

This is because the graphics card offers support for playback of the video when you play the video on the internal monitor

  • Satellite A660-17 t - PC Health Monitor shows the problem with the battery

I have an A660-17 t I've had since November 2010, I used a good amount, but not always on the battery, I believe that the battery has between 10 and 20 on this charge/discharge cycles.

I have updated the BIOS to v1.80 when I got the laptop, everything seemed to go well. Recently, in the last 2-3 weeks health monitoring software reports that the battery is in poor health, showing that the capacity is reduced to 40% of the original capacity. I do not believe this like when I work on battery I get several hours of use.

I have today updated BIOS v1.90, although there is no changelog that I can find, he says just "enhanced features" or similar.

Is this really a faulty battery, or it is somehow that the software correctly reads the value of the capacity of the battery due to a change in Windows or another change in the system? I don't see how a battery can work for the same amount of time it has always done and actually have a fault.

Any thoughts? Should I return it to the retailer and report an outage, or is it worth the wait to see if a future update of operating system or driver solves this problem?

    Thoughts welcome!

    Hey,.

    > I do not think this as when I work on battery I get several hours of use.
This means that you have the same time remaining on battery as before you saw the error of the integrity PC monitor?

In this case, it seems that the battery is ok and it's maybe s simply the wrong tool of Toshiba information. Then I recommend to reinstall PC Health Monitor, which you can download from the official website of Toshiba:

I use a dell xps 630i, with vista 64-bit running to me excellent.

    Hi ThomasArney Jr,

This can happen due to a hard drive which is a failure. You can try to run a Checkdsk and check if it helps.

Note: When you run the disk check, there are chances of losing data if you can take a backup before starting the checkdisk.

Check your hard drive for errors

  • Performance counters to performance monitor for the Consolidation planning

    Hello

I'm trying to understand what the servers are good canidates for the consolidation.  Spin the server VSphere 4 and a couple of hosts ESXi 4.  Rather than run the task "Analyze physical computers for consolidation" on the Vcenter server, I would rather go manual counters from perfmon on each server at least a week, so I can get a better picture of the resources needed for each server.

I can't find any info on the vmware site which tells you counters set up and how to use them in the planning of peacebuilding.  Can someone point me to such a document and/or tell me counters are best to use?  Thank you.

I agree with Dave - the big 4 are those to check.

I have a blog entry on this http://communities.vmware.com/blogs/vmroyale/2008/12/22/creating-a-generic-baseline-for-windows that might help.

  • Go off & on several times before the monitor turns on. Comp seems to start OK but the problem is with the screen.

Original title: XP start help please...

... are to be turned off & on several times before monitor lights. Comp seems to start OK but the problem is with the screen. Do I have to make a boot disk & if so - HOW?

    Hello

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         Did you check the connection of the cable to the monitor?

    ·         Have you tried to update to the latest graphics card and motherboard chipset drivers?

First, try to connect your monitor to a well known PC, maybe the old laptop that you use now. If the monitor works, the problem is with the video card in your PC. If the monitor does not light, the monitor. It is usually cheaper to buy a new monitor that in order to be an old repaired, unless the monitor is still under warranty.

Try connecting a monitor well known to your PC. If the monitor works, your old monitor is fried and needs to be replaced.

If your monitor works when connected to another PC, the problem could be your video card. First, and then you turn on your PC, the power and cooling case fans run they. If they do not, it could be the power supply.

Then, open the computer case. Before you do anything inside, unplug the power supply.

IMPORTANT! Touch any metal part of the computer case to connect to the PC. A single static spark can destroy computer circuits.

If the video card is the type of card that plugs into a slot on the motherboard, remove the screws or attached at the top of the card, remove the card, to manipulate the card by the edges to avoid disturbing the circuits on the card, carefully and re - install the card. Sometimes simply reinstalling the card corrects the problem.

If this does not work, replace the video card with a card of similar type. Perhaps now is the right time for an update of video card.

If the video card is integrated into the motherboard, you can install a new card in one of the PCI slots on the motherboard. When the PC starts for the first time, go into the bios and disable the onboard video.

  • P2715Q monitor ignores the button / stop

Whenever I'm in hibernation, or turn off my computer, Dell P2715Q monitor will not turn off. The monitor only becomes sensitive when it turns off the screen because of the entry is no longer. I hold the power button as long as I want, or press the button to power a dozen times, and the monitor will not turn off.

Unplug the monitor solves the problem, but then again unplug anything if it off. It is also quite an embarrassment of having to unplug the screen whenever I want to turn it off.

There are other times that the screen does not turn off, and it seems that the monitor tries to get permission or something the computer to allow itself to be put off. It is incredibly annoying that the power button does nothing while my computer shuts down. Is there a way to force the power button to turn the monitor off when I want the monitor turns off?

No, I'm not saying that. Yes, the monitor is in the State when you turned it off. Handshake everything is driven by the computer. You said that when the computer is in the Act of turning off, you turn off the monitor. My point is that the computer is put off, the computer monitor handshake arrived. By turning off the screen in this state of flow, you could leave the monitor in this State. So, when the computer is turned on and sends the handshake, he meets a State to monitor that he cannot decipher. That means disconnect the monitor cable, and then pressing the monitor for 15 seconds power button to 'clear '. If you can't wait for '20-30 additional seconds', then no. But you may need to reset the monitor to clean.

1 unpack the monitor. With mobile connection cables on: HDMI, USB, power Turn on the monitor. It flashes. Black for about 2 seconds, then the light for a split second, repeat, ongoing. Turn off monitor, the driver of the CD W2207h monitor, restart. Monitor works normally.

The monitor HP w2207h Readme says driver using driver Nvidia 10.65 or later version.

The Control Panel on the computer laptop G60, NVIDIA GeForce 8200 M g: Device driver 7.15.11.7614, 11/07/2008 (this is the latest driver from the HP support page. See on 27-01-08 below).

Install W2207h Monitor driver CD and restart the computer. Control Panel, device, Manager I see two monitors, the two "monitor PNP generic", first Hardware ID "MONITOR\HWP26A8", the second "MONITOR\SEC314C", both with the 6.0.6001.1840 driver (longhortn_rtm.080118 - 1840), I wonder if, maybe, the pilot did not.

2 put the laptop into sleep mode. Wake the portable computer and monitor flashes market, as described in (1). Image appears normally while the monitor is turned on for fraction of a second intervals. If reboot laptop, follow the work properly.

Occasionally, flashing monitor heal without rebooting. Out of about 10-15 tent: once the monitor began to function properly while the computer shuts down. Once the monitor was OK on the reactivation of the laptop. Once, while the screen flashes, I removed the USB cable and the monitor started working. None of this is repeatable.

3 removed the HDMI cable and started using the VGA cable and an audio cable. No more flashing on the reactivation of the computer. Very repeatable. About 7 7 times.

Control Panel, two monitors, Device Manager, the two "monitor PNP generic," first of all we have the Hardware ID "MONITOR\HWP26A8", second is "MONITOR\SEC314C", both with the 6.0.6001.1840 driver (longhortn_rtm.080118 - 1840), I wonder if, maybe, the pilot did not.

    Download NVIDIA drivers

Downloaded from Nvidia support: Version 179,28, 2008-12-18, 179.28_notebook_winvista_32bit_beta.exe Beta (attention: are not supported by the laptop to the manufacturer.)

HP support: Version 7.15.11.7614 has, 2008-09-08, sp40385.exe (same version that is installed.

Version of the driver installed is the same that the one on HP support site, so did not not update driver.

    w2207h monitor download driver

    Download and install A Rev 2.0, 4.0.100.1189, 2008-10-16

Version of the file now reads 6.0.6001.18000 (longhorn_rtm.080118 - 1840), I think it's the same as the driver already installed.

    Flashing problem is unchanged.

    end

It was the monitor! I brought my laptop and a HDMI cable at Staples where I bought the monitor and tried on the w2207h on set. It has worked well. Took the phone in and out of fashion 'sleep' several times. I'm in the store week return policy 2 stables will replace it. The seller was very accomodating to let me try different monitors with HDMI and VGA cables and my laptop while I was there. I even brought in a large piece of cardboard to protect the ceiling :).

Renewal of your IP address.  Works with Windows XP SP2, IE 8.00.6001.18702 file, I think that Version 3.  It has been installed on a disk provided by Microsoft after that old installation became corrupt (in the sense of Microsoft technical support.)  Before that, wireless network worked well.   (So unable to connect to the Internet for updates.)   Have tried to change the other settings and different messages acquired when it SHOWS that I am connected but cannot connect because of something to do with the certificate.  I don't remember what I did to try to solve this problem in the last days.

I should add that I have tried the solutions of the previous forum on this topic, and none worked.

Computer Dell laptop Windows XP SP3 - processor Intel Celeron M 1.40 GHz, 512 MB Ram, ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000

The local connection is working fine but my wireless connection does not receive through my laptop. The wireless works since it goes through my PS3 and my sister's laptop perfectly.

I used the repair, but it will say:
Windows could not finish repairing the problem because it is impossible to perform the following action: renewing your IP address

I used in the cmd command:
    ipconfig/renew
    Needless to say a message:
No operations can be performed on the wireless network connection, although it has its media disconnected.
