In general, nothing special.  Windows 7 automatically defragments the hard disk according to the needs / in off-peak period so you do not need to do. You must uninstall the programs, you need or want.  In the contrary case, common sense will keep your computer works well.

  • How do you get the most recent backup that always has this app on it?

My 2 years has removed an application in the course of the past week. He regularly plays with my phone, so I have no idea when he managed to do so. I do iCloud backups every night and have this updated app to make backups as well. Is there a way to check the applications included in backups to restore the most recent backup with this app still on it and I hope that the latest data? The only option I can think of right now is to keep remove and restore my phone until I get to a backup with the application, but this seems incredibly long.

You can see a breakdown of the contents of the backup of the last backup. If you know that it has been deleted some time in the past week, restore a backup from a week ago. If there was some new data on the phone since then you do not want to lose, then Yes, you would probably try the trial and error method.

  • Microsoft has a free registry and optimize cleanser

your kidding does me microsoft have a registry cleaner and optimizer free

Microsoft does not provide such software. You can try third-party software.

But it's very risky. These programs tend to damage the registry and in extreme cases even face serious consequences on the material.

If there is any problem with your registry, you can either mention it here or google out. There are several solutions for each problem.

You say that you have started from the XP CD, but something is wrong with that
you do. Just boot from the CD and follow the prompts for a
clean install. A new installation by formatting the
drive and does not care what version of Windows is installed (or
even if any version of Windows is installed.

Uninstall the trial version, and then install the CD-ROM version.

    Hello

This problem may occur for a few reasons.
    (1) hard disk cannot be read sometimes... maybe there are errors on the disc that 'may' be fix by running a utility or two.
(Open the computer and right click on the C drive and select Properties. Click on the Tools tab, and then click check now in the error-checking box.
You can also use the tool to defrag as well. It takes some time so do it when you don't need to do much.
You can also run the check disk from the command prompt. Click on START and type > order > press ENTER.
    Type > chkdsk C: /f > press enter

Just a test to see if the problem happens again.

    2) there is an intermittent problem with your hard drive.
Hard drive might be close to going out. You may need to get a new drive. You can make a backup of the system and restore to the new drive... IF that is the question.
It could be the drive is simply 'loose' and needs to be reset. Should be just one or a few screws to remove the disc. Simply plug in the back and see if that was the issue.

    (3) the controller card has problems. It is bad on a laptop, because it would require a new motherboard... sending essentially to a store. If this would be probably covered under warranty.

The first option would certainly test carefully. If that does not do it, make sure that the disc is properly seated to make usre is not easy like that.

By all means, save all the files that you need to keep.

I hope this helps. Mark <> Microsoft Partner

    Hi Lorenzo - Renz,.

    ·         You did changes to the computer before the show?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: I suggest you perform the clean boot and check if the problem persists.

Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to configure the computer to start as usual as mentioned at step 7 of the article mentioned above.

Method 2: You can run the troubleshooter of performance and check if it improves the performance of the computer.

  • Output VGA to laptop, it has a digital signal?

I have a Presario A900 (A961EM) with a VGA output. I want to connect it to my HDMI TV that has an HDMI plug. If I connect to laptop to my TV with a HDMI VGA cable, it'll work with video and sound?

I am very sure that it does not work, I'm afraid...

VGA is an analog signal, digital HDMI.

If you have a DVI on TELEVISION port, you'll be able to connect with a DVI VGA cable.

Also, VGA carries NO reliable data, so you need to connect the sound, via the headphones.

    Hope this helps

  • My laptop always stops suddenly, can anyone help?

    Hello

I don't know if it's good advice, but I'll just post it here for now.

The model is a HP Pavilion 14-v049TX

My laptop always suddenly stops 10 minutes after the start, even if it is clearly completely cooled. When it stopped, the power button will not and no flash for any button or keyboard. I have to wait a while and try many times to start it up again, and then it stops immediately.

I bought this laptop when I was in China just 2 months, so this is all new. She always stops all of a sudden so I can do my job using it. But I really need to do my job. So please can I get some help?

It is under warranty, but I do not know how to find a supporter technic to fix it.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi @Erjia

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you have a problem with your laptop close unexpectedly. It looks like a hardware problem, from what you described. I'll assume you are using Windows 8.1 and this document from HP tests to hardware failures will show how to test the majority of your material. Use UEFI diagnostic tools and run System Test - extended Test.

You can also use the System File Checker to scan your operating system for corruptions see if something is wrong. I also suggest to do a Check Disk as well.

If you are looking for someone to fix it you can call HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 in North America or Start here if you live outside of North America.

N ° and stay away from all these programs.

Registry cleaning programs are all snake oil. Cleaning of the
registration is not necessary and is dangerous. Let alone register and
do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and
What software record cleaning suppliers are trying to convince you,
have unused registry entries is not really make you hurt.
The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake
delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit
    It can have.

Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns the
use of registry cleaners never said that they always cause
problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from
the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry
cleaner and never had a problem with it.

The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it
the risk of a significant problem. And since there is no
benefits of using a registry cleaner, running that risk is a very bad
    good deal.
