while I was looking at how to record sounds and sounds of other issues, I came across:

If I was interested in the last part of the documentation:

Hello

The diagram in the linked site is just a generic diagram of audio devices and does not reflect the favorite PCM. To determine the preferred PCM, you have a few options:
Use of synchronously.

audiodevice_get()

Call asynchronously-

audiodevice_request_events()

Before your BPS in a loop, and then search for audio change to help events

audiodevice_event_get_path()

I'm looking for something in Apple Remote Desktop to add some favorite wireless networks with the terminal command "networksetup" to these remote computers

    Hi basil,

-Something that should work can use the ARD from the Mac Admin officer, to run ssh sessions by officials of the ARD on clients, and then run the Terminal command.

-J' used a script like this before restart locked ARD Agents on clients via ssh.  No GUI sessions running on the clients.

The script Unix in ARD would be similar to:

    do

-The script is run using an adminuser which is available on each client with ssh keys setup (no password) and an entry in/etc/sudoers so the sudo command prompts nor a password.

  • Since the update to Thunderbird worm. 41 it is fixed as the preferred application for browsing the web in Linux Mint 17.2?

What could be the cause of Thunderbird to set as the favorite in Linux Mint 17.2 browser client. If I reset it to Firefox, the next time I open Thunderbird, it still resets the preferred setting Thunderbird client. When I open Firefox, it pops up a window saying that this isn't the default browser, asking if I want to change. • Remove preferred networks

OK, this has been discussed many times and many moons ago but I still don't see anywhere a proper fix. I hope you guys can help :-)

If you have a bunch of 'old' networks in your list of wifi on your devices. For me iMac, Macbook Air and iPhone 6 (don't see the list on the phone)

How the hell do you want to remove what you don't want. I know that its something to do with the keychain. Remove them from the list on the iMac and Macbook, and then apply it works for about 5 minutes and then they all again...

This is certainly something simple... This my Apple... this question seems to have been invited a few times now, but not with a solid answer... Help Please guys/girls...

    His frustration.

    Thank you very much

    Mac.

The preferred networks has nothing to do with the keychain.

The list is in the system under WiFi network, advanced Prefs.

If they keep reappearing, try to remove one of the other Mac.

If they are all signed on the same iCloud account, the networks are sync'd between them.

  • Problems with flaps preferably

I have a Macbook Pro El Capitan (10.11.5) 2011 running. I have problems of implementation of system components preferably after startup: it takes a significant amount of time (~ 20 minutes?) before the affected components will be charge: it is not clear how the preferences panes are 'selected '. Any attempt to load the panes of the preferences system affected during this period gives a any error indicating that preference pane "" could not be loaded. This memorable includes, for example, the Date and time preferences window. Any suggestion is welcome.

  • Z820 - on-site service of HP for a renewed system of HP Preferred Partner?

My Z820 is giving headaches to start more (Ref.: t5/Workstations-z-series-xw-series/Z820-BIOS-updated-to-v2-55-cannot-boot-or-install-Windows-7/td-p...).

I've exhausted all recovery options I could think.

I currently plan to contact HP for a verification of the system and/or repair.

This system was bought by the company, I work from a supplier 'HP Preferred Partner' in November 2012. It was renovated by the provider with the original HP components.

    I checked the warranty on:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/weInput?CC=NL & destPage = weInput & LC = NL & tmp_docname =

I used the SN & SKU numbers I've seen in HP Vision diagnostic & BIOS. According to this site, the guarantee runs until June 2015. I'm not quite sure if this warranty is valid for my refurbished workstation...

This system is always able to HP service (on-site)?

    Greetings,

    Dries

Yes, you still have warranty complete just on-site, you can call, give them the serial number and make them go out and replace the MB.

Don't mention even the word "renovated" as it has nothing to do with a faulty machine.

  • Preferred networks

I have trouble getting the preferred networks to stay in the current networks of security that I selected. I deleted the ones I use most, but they keep coming back. This creates the black hole directly in my iMac, networks, and systems. For example, I set up my router netgear on this imac. When you set up that it's in the free mode (not secure) password. After I configured the router with security (AES), my router is secure (at least as sure that this type of material in fact) but I discovered that after my 'networks now either' have been cleared out the preferred networks then they come back. This allows the iMac to connect directly to any router that is configured by default or dangerous. E.g. One can simply feed a router as in non-secure mode by default and my system will connect to it, even if the router preference has been removed? Anyone know how to permanently remove preferred networks?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It makes no changes to your data.

Please triple - click anywhere in the line below on this page to select:

Launch the Terminal application integrated in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

Paste in the Terminal window by pressing the command-V key combination. I tested these instructions only with the Safari browser. If you use another browser, you may need to press the return key after pasting.

Wait for a new line ending with a dollar sign ($) below what you entered.

The output of the command will be automatically copied to the Clipboard. If the command produces no output, the Clipboard is empty. Paste into a reply to this message.

  • MacMini don't auto connect to the preferred wireless network when the router reboots

My MacMini is located to join my favorite wifi network. Where I stay, there is usually a power failure close to a minute or two during the day.

My setup is such that my MacMini running 24 x 7 with a backup uninterruptible but my router (AirPort Express) turns off during the power outage. When the router goes off, my Mac disconnects from the network which should, but now when my router turns, the MacMini reconnect to the preferred network.

It shows the network preferred list, and when I manually click on this subject, it reconnects immediately without asking for password. But this will not happen automatically.

If I restart my MacMini it reconnects very well. The problem occurs only when my MacMini is but my router restarts.

To reproduce this problem on your side, just turn off your router and once your Mac disconnects from the network back on the router. See if your mac reconnects to your wifi fine.

Any solution or advice for this problem?

    Thank you.

Please test after taking each of the steps that you have not already tried it. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.

    1. If possible, test at another network, such as a public access point or hotspot created by a mobile phone. Some Wi - Fi routers are not fully compatible with Apple devices. More specifically, the security mode for the network, as shown in the network preferences window, should be 2 personal WPA or WPA 2 Enterprise. If the router doesn't support either of these modes, it should be replaced with another.

    2. make sure that the network is on the list of favorites by following these instructions. It is important to read the article, as it is the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem. If you skip any step, the problem cannot be resolved. Make sure that the box marked

Remember this computer has joined the network

    is checked.

3 follow the instructions in this article to support.

    4. reset the PRAM.

    5. take note of all your parameters of connection Wi - Fi in the network preferences pane, then remove the connection in the connection list and re-create it with the same settings. This by clicking on the icon of the lowest sign from the list of connection, select Wi - Fi as the interface in the form that opens. Select join the other network in the network name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when you are prompted, and then save it in the keychain.

    6. in the menu location at the top of the network preferences window, select Edit locations. A sheet will fall. Click on the plus sign to create a new location. Give it the name of your choice. In the new location, set up the Wi - Fi service with the same settings that you used before. Click on apply and test.

    7. run the Keychain Access application. Find and remove all the network password AirPort elements that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.

8 turn off the Bluetoothand the test.

    9. reset the system management controller.

    10. This step should not be necessary, but he has been advised by the Apple Support in some cases, apparently as a solution for a bug. Open the energy saving pane in system preferences. If necessary, click the lock icon in the lower left corner to unlock the settings. When prompted, enter your administrator login password.

Select the Power Adapter tab and uncheck the boxes marked

Continued access to the Wi - Fi network

    and

    Enable the NAP...

If it is present. Then, if the computer is a MacBook, select the stack tab and uncheck the box

    Enable the NAP...

    11. reinstall OS X.

  • How to stop Satellite L40 - 14N connect to non-preferred networks?

I'll put up a Satellite L40 - 14N notebook and only want it to be able to connect to a designated wireless LAN router. The network adapter is a Realtek RTL8187B and the laptop runs Windows Vista Edition home premium (v6.0.6000). The machine is currently working on a WLAN with WPA pre-shared key.

I have read a number of Web pages such as:

    http://ask-Leo.com/how_can_i_block_neighboring_wireless_networks.html

At halfway on this page, it displays the setting "Automatically connect to non preferred networks" in one of the boxes of properties. In the property fields I see on this machine the I can't find this setting and I don't have a list of options to change the priority of connection or preferred networks.

Does anyone know if the automatic connection to other networks can be disabled on this computer and if so... How?

I need the machine for details of a unique WLAN connection and if the network is not present then do not access anything else.

I noticed the "Connect to a more preferred network if available" parameter in one of the other properties boxes, is this similar?

    Any help much appreciated! :-)

    Pete

    Hello

"As explained on the website of the 3rd party you should uncheck the option to automatically connect to the non preferred networks.
You must mark the neighbours WLan and press the properties button.
Then a new window should open and on the Connections tab, you should * uncheck * the option called + Connect then this network is in range.
